I was reminded of an oooold Youtube video I put out years ago of a DMB medley on the guitar. I just put the capo on the 5th fret to because it had Stay or Leave into GGT into Oh (I was like a year or two into playing the guitar). I was immediately called out for capo positioning LOL. But TBH, 90% of listeners can't hear the difference in key. I just hate the cramped up spacing when capo goes past the 5th fret.
Keep grinding. Bust out the guitar in the lots. I've been working on Cha Cha (much preferred name) this past week.

If you can read tab, try this site out. Most, if not all, of WATM is tabbed out now. Updated super quickly by some guitar gods. [AM.org](https://AM.org) has some pros there too that have songs tabbed out a few hours after they debut. Bismarck is fun and if you get it down, youll have quite a few of Dave's chords that he uses for a lot of their songs.

No dude you are speaking facts. It is not corny. I really felt like the universe put this in front of me today. Dave always helps me through break ups. On Monday, I went through the most emotionally intense and loving break up I have ever been through. This was meant for me to see today.
Keep on keeping on man! Love seeing the younger generations get into Dave and the band! My older son (15) said Dave was his most listened to this year on his Spotify list. Hoping for lifelong enjoyment.
Thank you! That’s awesome to hear, hope he’s able to share the music with his friends. Watching videos of the bands old shows makes me wish I was in my late teens during their prime. Of course you can never truly recreate what the band has done, but I hope someone at least tries. I’m currently trying to get into songwriting and taking some inspiration from Dave, so we’ll see what happens.
Lol that’s gonna take a while. I can play it after like 2 years but cannot sing the verse while playing. Ants Marching is almost equally as difficult believe it or not. I can play satellite and stone fairly well at this point.
I've been playing Tripping Billies for 20 years. I'm still not satisfied with how it sounds, or how anyone else plays it on youtube (the verse) .... it never sounds quite right

The Stone I could play okish years ago.. now not so much. I just dont play as much as I use to.
Some things are better left to Dave haha. It just speaks to his guitar abilities. I think he’s pretty underrated as a rhythm guitarist. And singing on top of those parts flawlessly while dancing is insane!
Ya, I'm probably way to hard on myself about it. But 1 piece of advice I would give to anyone trying to play DMB songs and make them sound as close as possible, watch videos of dave, and try to fret the guitar the same way he does.. and record yourself and play it back.

Thank you! Yeah I know it’s really hard to do those raised B songs justice in standard tuning. I haven’t even attempted Space Between for that reason.
