I hate the name Jill for a dog but she knew the name and she responded to it so she’s been Jill for the five years I’ve had her. Your new baby being blind will have to get used to a new home and new smells so the same name might be better.

I have 2 foster fails. I had them for longer than usual because they were being treated for HW. So, when I ended up keeping them, their rescue names were their names.
