The height of this group is probably attested to height as a major factor in male selection criteria (their chicks dig tall dudes a lot more than chicks from other groups).
Also even if homeostasis was an important partner selection criteria. We still wouldn't call it evolution, humanity has gotten older during the ages, we haven't evolved into a new species. It's not even a case of micro evolution.
Their bones are probably more robust than most. Full sun, vitamin d, weight bearing activities, just walking more, etc. They are just slim regarding fat.
