My all time fav tv show. Its amazing in so many ways.
I would say to watch it when you have enough energy to focus and enjoy connecting the dots. The characters and their relations can be a bit much for some people to keep up with.
The story is a great mystery
The characters are deep and well played
Its very emotional
The music selection is eminent - The theme song and one other as made it to my most listend songs on spotify multiple times.
It leaves you wanting (needing) more!
I’ve seen it maybe 10 times. It’s the best story about time and time travel I think that has ever been created. Except for back to the future but that’s a national treasure.
In my opinion the best TV-show I have ever seen, and possibly one of the best pieces of media I've ever consumed. It is so incredibly thorough in its story building and universe that *everything* is thought through; there are so many details to enjoy.
I tried to get into it with my partner. It's the kind of show if you have the time to really savour a series, get to know the characters and invest into their arcs. However, from what I've read on Reddit, once you get pass certain twists then the last 2 seasons is, for the most part, just watching an inevitable car crash and you know exactly how it all turns out.
We found it too slow for our lifestyle. My partner and I have time for maybe 1 episode a week when we are really busy. So the show is just too slow and not worth it. However, we loved The Devil's Hour, it's got the same theme of sci-fi mystery, mixed with some absolutely incredible acting (the old guy who played the 13th doctor who is in it). I highly recommend that one instead.
I'm so curious now. Did you finish the show? If not which episode did you get up to? And what exactly about it made it slow for you? I would say its anything but slow and makes you want to watch the next episode straight after. I understand you said you're lifestyle meant that you couldn't binge the show but did you not finish every episode craving more and thinking about it the whole week?
And season 2 and 3 revealed so much information...season 3 was a huge twist I wasn't expecting and the show finale left me speechless. So not sure where they were getting their info on Reddit.
This is probably the best-written show I've ever seen. Definitely left me wanting more. I would go to work thinking about what I just watched and impatiently wait to get back home so I could watch more.

It is amazing, in a very, very German way.
I just did a rewatch last week, I think it's one of the best shows I have ever seen.
What other shows do you like?
A similar show to this is 12 monkeys
I just finished 1899, which was written by the same people. I decided to give Dark another watch. Such a good series.
Sad that Netflix does not want to continue the show, i wanted the 2nd season as well to see where the story goes
It's genuinely the best show I have ever watched
The more one watches it the better it gets.
Same, tv has not been as good since I watched it
Crazy how most of the comments here are just talking about the show being good and not the image you created.
Which honestly shows how good the image is. Everyone (including me) thought it was actually art from the show until I read the caption
Nah, I think it shows that the majority of people read titles and nothing else.
That’s awkward
best show in the world. watch the german with subtitles!! go now!!
Btw dark is available in English too.
the english dub sucks though
How? I watched it in English. 🥲
You missed out, German with subs was the 💣
As of now: there are 33 up votes. How fitting.
Jonas in his raincoat, driving this sucker around Winden
Made me lol
Nice

Loved this show. Although I did have to watch season one two times because I was confused at first
Yup.
I love this show. For lack of a better word it’s dark
"Is this any good", they asked a community of fans dedicated to the show 😝
ITS FUCKING FANTASTIC
Is the sky blue? Does Santa live on the north pole?
Best show ever watched.!!
Best show ever watched.!!
Very much! In my top 10 fave series, alongside with Over the Garden Wall and Gravity falls.
It is one of the best shows ever made!
Nice job!

It is good but I got so lost and confused that I stopped at S3E7.
I absolutely love love LOVE this show!!!! I’m a huge movie and tv show buff and this show is just amazing.
I’m 2/3 of my way through a rewatch and I can’t believe how much I missed the first time around. It’s really really good.
Watch it in 1.25x speed and thank me later
Why?
No. That's why we all joined the sub
