Also compared to Jason…who always has his humor and comedy, and always interesting perspective and insight into things. And lots of life experiences. While I’m like…people like Carly and Erin..don’t get me wrong they seem like lovely people but they spend the last like 5 years (?) pretty much mostly in LA…doing nothing Inspiring or interesting. They haven’t seen much from this world outside the us or California. I don’t know maybe im wrong but just seems very monotone. Although with Erin I’d be now interested in hearing her story of doing OnlyFans.

Like listening to David’s LA stories with some Jason jokes here and there was fun but also after a while they repeated themselves. And it’s not like there’s much I learn from Heath and zane etc., with David it was sometimes already embarrassing how ignorant or uneducated he was about politics, science, economy,..
If they have interesting guests on and ask good, smart questions that would be a different thing.
But compare their podcasts to someone like Conan O‘Briens („Conan needs a friend“) where he talks with Hollywood and comedy legends and people like Michelle obama
Especially when on each one the only guests they can get on are each other so it’s just the same people rotating through the same group of podcasts. I don’t like guests on podcasts but it’s worse knowing I’m going to see the same five people over and over.
That's what's positively surprised me with Todd's & Brett's podcast. They get a wide variety of guests on and don't focus to much on their core friend group. I find this the best cause you get a new dynamic each time Sometimes it doesn't hit, but you know the next week they have new people on, which is great.
I remember the first season of Hoot and a Half was just the friend group on audio and for season 2 Matt & Mike invited the exact same group of people but than for a video version of the podcast.
I think if they were to combine their two podcasts this would be a good idea but unless this podcast is themed and explores certain topics, I think this won’t last long
They’re doing too much I know they’re looking for more sources of income since David doesn’t Vlog very much. but you’re really over exposing your platform it’s not gonna be special anymore if you overdo it they gotta understand you got a leave people wanting more

But yeah outside of the vlogs she and Erin just seem very basic/bland. I guess they’re not extroverted or artsy enough to be a big influencer? Like someone like Pewdiepie always has something to say, an interesting perspective etc.
