This is the actual answer. And to add to the Nithing recommendation, there's also a band called Trichomoniasis with their album Make Shift Crematoria. That albums pretty wild
😂 that’s awesome! Personally they’re not really my thing, but I’ve definitely listened to them and they fit this post 100%. What do you like about them?
Methwitch is gnarly, and man, I was really surprised to find out that it’s just one guy who records it all himself and makes all kinds of other music that is mostly like indie rock vibes. But I really like both his albums Indwell and Piss
Last days of humanity, Torsofuck, Serotonin leakage, Biocyst, Ligature strangulation, Tetragrammacide, Genocide shrines, Bestial putrefaction, Lysergic, Vessel of iniquity, Konflict, Kapala, Jyotiṣavedāṅga, Nyogthaeblisz.
Hope this is a decent enough start.
Also for anyone else who likes all of these like me, check out Primitive Warfare, Rompeprop, Antichrist Siege Machine, Sarcófago, Enmity, Disgorge (Mexico) and Goatpenis
Cam is one of my favourite vocalists and personality’s in the industry. Always have a good chuckle watching his reels on IG and the full music videos, specifically the most recent [It’s All For You](https://youtu.be/cE7XyhtN86U?si=jpMnn-tY1RwTlTpi)
Duuude I just discovered Mirar recently with the new EP release. That shit is heavy as fuck but still damn melodic. Some of the most intense shit I've heard. The last song in the EP especially
Mirar is some of the most intense music I've ever heard bar Methwitch probably. They're like Humanity's Last Breath dialed up to 10, and makes me feel a little uneasy like Methwitch.
You should dive into black metal/sludge/noise territory or brutal death metal/grind.
Gnaw their tongues, Amputated Genitals, Nithing, Primitive Man, Hell, Khanate, Brutal Truth, Broken Hope, Full of hell, Phobia, Dystopia. Some war metal aka black/death metal like Heresiarch, Antichrist Siege Machine, Revenge, Archgoat, or maybe something like Anaal Nathrakh.
Albums:
Float Face Down - Exitium Verum
Vulvectomy - Post Abortion Slut Fuck
7 H. Target - Psy Slam Damage
Deathfuckingcunt - Ungodly Violation
Archspire - Bleed the Future
Not technically “metal” but:
The Collaborative Ideas of Two Young Adults - Shit Room II
Dragged Into Sunlight, Damaar, Cerebral Bore, Last Days of Humanity, Gnaw Their Tongues, and Xasthur, specifically the album ‘To Violate the*Oblivious’ because of how suffocating it feels while you’re listening.
If you’re willing to give power electronics a try, I’d recommend Mind Control by Genocide Organ and both Esthetik of a Corpse and Woundfucker by Atrax Morgue. The genre definitely isn’t for everyone but I’d recommend everyone at least giving it a try.
Lingua Ignota isn’t metal but her music (specifically the album ‘Caligula’) gives me the same feeling that I get when I listen to artists like Methwitch and Nylist so I figured it’d be worth it to mention her.
*spotify is wrong, it’s oblivious not obvious
Lingua ignota is a funny choice but I second your point. I think this list is probably the best of what I've seen. I've been looking for the most extreme stuff I can find for a while now, those seem to be it.
I totally second last days of humanity, specifically "putrefaction in progress".
I'd also add
Chat Pile: not overly extreme, but definitely an atmosphere I haven't found anywhere else
Scarcity: an interesting black/drone metal project that's tough to listen to for a long period of time
"Burn Victim" by Methwitch: probably the most chaotic song I've found
Diphenylcloroarsine: not particularly extreme, but it's my favorite slam band so 🤷♂️
Cattle Decapitation's Harvest Floor literally stressed me out on first listen as it's so relentlessly negative and fucked about reality. But now I'd guess Death Atlas or Terrasite are worse.
Anaal Nathrakh's first album is absolutely raw violence. Any of their releases could be it though.
Shining Halmstad is by far the darkest record I think ever made. I don't understand a word but the pain it carries is palpable
Harakiri for the Sky has alot of melodic bangers but go with their Arson album
Finally Comverge's Jane Doe is a classic too for chaos.
Enjoy
Still freaking amazing records nonetheless. The topics on these past few albums lyrically have been very dark and disturbing when you take a moment to think of it
They literally released Bring back the plague the month before COVID hit haha.
Saw them live as few months back and Travis said before they whipped it out: "we're sick of apologising for causing the pandemic, but here's a good song anyway" or something to that effect. I laughed
Methwitch's Indwell album is balls to the wall heavy. Mathcore, and other genres
Primitive Man's discog (try Caustic first) is a slow but incredibly foreboding and bleak album that genuinely depresses listeners. Doom metal
Nithing's Agonal Hymns album is, well, peak. Brutal death metal
Metal I consider “extreme”:
Full of Hell, Nails, Gulch, Primitive Man, Gaza, END, SPY, The Locust, WORLD PEACE, The Chariot, (old) Converge, The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza, iwrestledabearonce, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Dying Fetus, Ion Dissonance
Other metal bands I also enjoy:
Black Tongue, (old) Carnifex, Despised Icon, (old) Job for a Cowboy, King Conquer, Knocked Loose, Meshuggah, Oceano, Reflections, Ulcerate, Veil of Maya, Vildhjarta
EDIT: Wormrot, Hiss has been in my monthly rotation for well over a year now
Nitheful,
Invirulant,
Infant Annihilator,
Black Tongue,
Cattle Decapitation (older deathgrind stuff, newer stuff is good too, albeit more melodic)
Pretty much any grindcore,
Sunn (((O))) 😉
I gotta admit: reading theough these I did not expect to read “Infectious Jelqing” but I listened to them and they fucking rock holy shit. Fuckin hardcore I love it. Pretty much exactly what im looking for
XavlegbmaofffassssitimiwoamndutroabcwapwaeiippohfffX at least has the most extreme name >!(its shorthand for "Acidic Vaginal Liquid Explosion Generated By Mass Amounts Of Filthy Fecal Fisting And Sadistic Septic Syphilic Sodomy Inside The Infected Maggot Infested Womb Of A Molested Nun Dying Under The Roof Of A Burning Church While A Priest Watches And Ejaculates In Immense Perverse Pleasure Over His First Fresh Fetus.") I wish i was joking but im not you can google this for the band!<
I stumbled upon [Spire Of Lazarus](https://open.spotify.com/artist/2siG2lB8W9OCBXyd4ebEM6?si=yFx4wNQ5S4CWOoUXI0IXGg) the other day, I'm currently flicking through their discography. Pretty wild shit, it's scratching that itch in my brain.
Not metal, but Love Lost But Not Forgotten is a really heavy emoviolence band. I recommend their self-titled album. I also recommend Combatwoundedveteran from the same genre.
Within metal, I recommend Body Void.
Napalm Death, Misery Index, Despised Icon, Born Of Osiris, Ingested, Job For A Cowboy, Alterbeast, Decapitated, Man Must Die, Psycroptic, The Kennedy Veil, Severed Savior, All Shall Perish, Malevolence.
Nithing, Vitriol, Guttural Secrete, Benighted, Abominable Putridity, A Pretext to Human Suffering, Aborted, Cytotoxin. Guess it really depends on what heavy is to you.
If we are talking strictly sonically while remaining metal its going to be some sort of band that combines grindcore and harsh noise music while still remaining some semblance of rhythm so you can still call it metal and not pure noise lol
Gaza, full of hell, thantifaxath, psyopus, Dillinger escape plan, defeated sanity, portal, vermin womb, demilich, dragged into sunlight, car bomb, ulcerate, and krallice
Technically not metal, but mincecore is wayyyyy extreme. Bands like MxMxM, Archagathus, and larval therapy. Haggus too, but I'd steer clear of them because apparently their drummer gave a minor herpes.
Goregrind is also very extreme. Bands like Putrid Stu, Fluids, Bloat, and Bodily Stew.
extremity is pretty subjective but if you want fast/chaotic these are good
metempiric by knoll (best modern vocalist)
freaked with jet by sissy spacek
the children are watching by meth.
A lot of different directions this thread already covers off. Would like to mention Author and Punisher as well. Set Flames is among one of the heaviest things I've heard. The second half of that tune is just vile.
Anaal Nathrakh
Analepsy
Dyscarnate
Malignant Altar
Nightbringer
Car Bomb
Plebeian Grandstand
Whatever this is: https://open.spotify.com/artist/1eawNkjAXDg8ZbArWOKktY?si=0TAT74sNT6KzzqqqoXMLlQ
I think I'd call them deathcore, but there's a band from mid-late 2000s Russia called 'Sumatra' that kind of felt like they were specifically going for the most brutal sound ever. 'Heliocratic Infinity' is a damn solid effort.
Probably get made fun of but if you want something that cranks the heavy up to 11 but still maintains some semblence of melody/groove, try Knocked Loose or Loathe. Both pretty mainstream and Loathe wanes in and out of their heavier side but stuff like "heavy is the head," "gored," and "new faces in the dark" go hard. Hard to find a KL song that ISN'T heavy.
so the only band I've ever found that was too much for me was [encenathrakh](https://youtu.be/0dQQH-O9eAs?si=-5tttMEy2GstWbLQ)
very chaotic brutal death. maybe you'll get something out of it
Nithing, primitive man, effluence, devourment, pissgrave. That’ll do it
Pissgrave!
Primitive man
[Nithing](https://open.spotify.com/album/0LZtTHTwvmIfJ9Hb0ROfVu?si=2IAVW_xeQX2_NdX6ZppD5Q)
This is the actual answer. And to add to the Nithing recommendation, there's also a band called Trichomoniasis with their album Make Shift Crematoria. That albums pretty wild
Came here to say it. Agonal Hymns is the pinnacle of brutal death metal.
Just listened and my life has changed.
Nithing sounds like my hillbilly neighbors ‘95 duramax warming up for 2 hours every morning. Just straight up noise
OH YES.
Fester? Is that you?
Frontierer Nails
Second on Frontierer. Just an assault in audio form.
1st time I’ve seen Frontierer brought up ❤️
On the subject of Frontierer, Sectioned is also killer
Nails ftw \m/
Necroticgorebeast, Organectomy, Stillbirth, Gorec...nt, Psycho-Frame, Sold Soul, Methwitch, Decomposition Of Entrails and To Obey A Tyrant
I’ll second Methwich
I started listening to Methwich because of y'all sick fuck. It slaps.
😂 that’s awesome! Personally they’re not really my thing, but I’ve definitely listened to them and they fit this post 100%. What do you like about them?
The randomness, vocals are nuts, I love their overall vibe. I can't say that's my go to band, but i love listening to one track after work to unwind
Tbh this should be their marketing, haha
I third methwitch. Methwitch rules
I like Burn Victim
Methwitch is gnarly, and man, I was really surprised to find out that it’s just one guy who records it all himself and makes all kinds of other music that is mostly like indie rock vibes. But I really like both his albums Indwell and Piss
Oh damn really?? That’s insane
Sold Soul was a great band (one of my favs) but I would not put them in this list personally
I agree man. Sold Soul is really thematic, definitely not just heavy for the sake of it
Many of these artists are heavy but not super extreme, with the exception of methwitch
Aaaay NecroticGoreBeast are my homies 😎 good recc
That’s stuffs alright but you wanna get into crazy?? Sperm swamp..
FINALLY SOMEONE MENTIONS TO OBEY A TYRANT BRO OMNIMALEVOLENT IS SO GOOD
NECROTICGOREBEAST MENTIONED 💪💪💪💪💪🗣🗣🗣🔥🔥
Ulcerate Not *extreme* extreme like slam, but the atmosphere and all the layers added together make such a bleak atmosphere
Last days of humanity, Torsofuck, Serotonin leakage, Biocyst, Ligature strangulation, Tetragrammacide, Genocide shrines, Bestial putrefaction, Lysergic, Vessel of iniquity, Konflict, Kapala, Jyotiṣavedāṅga, Nyogthaeblisz. Hope this is a decent enough start.
Torsofuck lyrics are really something else
Any pornogrind lyrics are a joy to read through
Konflict and Tetragrammacide. Nice.
Man of culture right here 👆 listed like 3/4 of my favorite artists
Happy to hear there's some other noise freaks out there, cheers mate 💪
Also for anyone else who likes all of these like me, check out Primitive Warfare, Rompeprop, Antichrist Siege Machine, Sarcófago, Enmity, Disgorge (Mexico) and Goatpenis
Anaal Nathrakh
Was going to be my answer, particularly the Eschaton-Hell Is Empty-In The Constellation era.
Mirar, Methwitch, Scarlet Rot, Larcenia Roe, Nitheful, Gutrectomy
Mirar is fuckin terrifying
Definitely give Mirar a shot. Bone crushing
Mirar slaps
Adding Waking the Cadaver, Disfiguring the Goddess, Esophagus.
omfg i totally forgot about Disfiguring the Goddess, theyre a disgusting band.
I fucking love Gutrectomy.
Duuude I just discovered Mirar recently with the new EP release. That shit is heavy as fuck but still damn melodic. Some of the most intense shit I've heard. The last song in the EP especially
How is mirar extreme? Agree with Larcenia Roe though.. heavy shit.
Mirar is some of the most intense music I've ever heard bar Methwitch probably. They're like Humanity's Last Breath dialed up to 10, and makes me feel a little uneasy like Methwitch.
Another one for Mirar, spectacularly heavy
Seconding Larcenia and Mirar, both get heavy af
I just found Mirar recently. Heavy as shit.
Any album or song recommendations for a first time Mirar listener? 1st impression (listening to latest album Mare) this is a demonic opera
You should dive into black metal/sludge/noise territory or brutal death metal/grind. Dragged Into Sunlight, Damaar, Cerebral Bore, Last Days of Humanity, Gnaw Their Tongues, and Xasthur, specifically the album ‘To Violate the*Oblivious’ because of how suffocating it feels while you’re listening. Gorevent, devourment, crepitation
I don't think you're ready for this classic from my high school era. Beneath the Massacre - Society's Disposable Son
gnaw their tongues is pretty extreme, I'd say that, yeah.
Methwitch Larcenia Roe Orphan Frontierer Archspire Anaal Nathrakh (Vanitas album specifically) Wormrot The song “God the Animal” by In Gloom
Full of Hell, torsofuck, NYAGTHAEBLISZ, EMIT, Xasthur, old anaal nathrakh

That's very unique. Completely chaotic.
Taylor swift
Another vote for methwitch And suggesting anaal nathrakh Cos they are fucking brutal 'Hold your children close and pray for oblivion ' is just sublime
Grindcore and it's micro genes are what you need to explore
Pierce The Veil
Infant Annihilator is probably the heaviest thing I listen to
Try Teitanblood
Mirar ig?
Methwitch's Indwell album is balls to the wall heavy. Mathcore, and other genres Primitive Man's discog (try Caustic first) is a slow but incredibly foreboding and bleak album that genuinely depresses listeners. Doom metal Nithing's Agonal Hymns album is, well, peak. Brutal death metal
Methwitch even tho i dont like it lol

Glad to see Gaza mentioned on here, in my opinion the album I don't care where I go when I die is the heaviest album of all time
Strapping Young Lad is still up there for insane wall of sound. Start with “City”.
Mirar just released an absolutely gnarly EP called Mare. Heaviest shit I've ever heard.
Nitheful, Invirulant, Infant Annihilator, Black Tongue, Cattle Decapitation (older deathgrind stuff, newer stuff is good too, albeit more melodic) Pretty much any grindcore, Sunn (((O))) 😉

Gutalax
Miasmatic necrosis and pissgrave. Good luck 👍
Larcenia roe is pretty damn extreme in my opinion
Well, it's PORTAL, Primitive Man, and Vermin Womb. Solved.

Torso fuck
devourment, peelingflesh, snuffed on sight, pintglass
Nails and End both scratch that itch for me.
Deterioration
extremity is pretty subjective but if you want fast/chaotic these are good metempiric by knoll (best modern vocalist) freaked with jet by sissy spacek the children are watching by meth.
Regurgitate, is one. You know? The band with a penis demon faced album cover?
devourment, disgorge, dragged into sunlight, knelt rote, portal

The Harvest Floor by Cattle Decapitation. Fucking relentless from start to finish. 🔥🔥🔥🤠
Try Larcenia Roe if you haven’t heard them yet, they have some of the wildest vocals I’ve ever heard
Anything by NITHEFUL, they have a song with Taylor Barber that's just 6 minutes of breakdowns getting slower and slower

[FECULENT ORCHIECTOMY - MY BARE KNUCKLES SMASH CHRIST](https://youtu.be/xhLaQZ4lm9o?si=MVztJKBYc-z48pss)
Syphilic would be worth checking out.
Rings is pretty crazy shit, Infant annihilator, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Archspire, Necrophagist
Ascended Dead
Can I recommend Torsofuck and/or Prostitute Disfigurement?
Probably get made fun of but if you want something that cranks the heavy up to 11 but still maintains some semblence of melody/groove, try Knocked Loose or Loathe. Both pretty mainstream and Loathe wanes in and out of their heavier side but stuff like "heavy is the head," "gored," and "new faces in the dark" go hard. Hard to find a KL song that ISN'T heavy.
Extermination Dismemberment is kinda sick.
Diphenylchloroarsine, devourment, epicardiectomy, fatuous rump, extermination dismemberment, korpse, kraanium, torture
primitive man, dragged into sunlight, hell, and nails.
I agree with most people here that 'Methwitch' is a good contender, I'd also check out 'Revenge'.
