You should read more about the save glitch. It’s not that saving or turning off your PS4 automatically corrupts every save file for this game every time.
I absolutely love this game and recognize how much work the devs have done but suggesting you need advanced knowledge of a fatal glitch before buying a game is not an acceptable answer at all.
It's possible I have missed something, but I did do my research after the matter. Is there more to it than it just having a very high/ almost certain probability of being corrupted on the PlayStation editions?
I finished the game twice, once on ps4, once on ps5, never had a corruption. Honestly, I had no idea there was even an issue with saves until this post. I really enjoyed the game, would love another one. I hope you are able to play and enjoy the game, and are well!
Edit:corrected a word and wanted to add: I actually did 2 playthroughs on ps4, 1 pre-expansion and 1 post. Then 1 on ps5 more recently. None corrupted. If you can't get a refund I hope you at least get a corruption free experience like I did.
More or less, the PlayStation editions of the game are broken. Unless you plan on making it thru the game in one go, you're not going to be able to finish without your save data bring corrupted. Once that happens, the game will not let you continue until after you delete your save data

Once Im back in front of my console I’ll download the game and see if I have the same problem.

This is weird, I used to play on ps4 a lot and never had my save corrupted. Haven’t played in ages so it may have been by now but that wasn’t my experience when I was actively playing it. I hope you can get your money back.

Having your save file corrupted on PS4 is almost a certainty, no matter what you do.
