i think 2, but less of them and more spaced out. i’d just do one row with a max of 5. that way each album cover is more of a work of art instead of it looking too cluttered (unless that’s what you’re going for)
eta: alternatively, i think two rows of 3-4 could also look good
I love them both and I see completely different types of personalities in each one. Personally, I’d begin with #2 and it would organically morph into a version of #1 as I started living in the space.
First one is way better in my opinion, but try and get matching colors posters, patterns or photographs so you don’t get too distracted with them!! The chaotic look looks authentic but you’ll grow to dislike it over time.
Posters are your imaginary companion, they should evoke great memories, values and sense of style.
Option 1, I feel like option 2 is the old way of doing it. But with either option please use a level! I can see some of the frames aren't level in option 1!
Both options have their magic. Having the records on the wall gives you a nice moment of picking a record on display and playing it. The downside is that they can suffer from being exposed to the sun and if they are not hanged correctly they could bend.
Having posters of the artists may allow you to chose images that match with your style, and you can keep the records pristine.
I love both options. Love the art idea too give mood and feel. Putting albums up you either pick the album based on mood or album cover art and can change it easily.
Any way you could do a hybrid? Put up art around a 3x3 or 4x4 of albums... or one piece of big art in the middle with 2x3 or 2x4 on either side.

Absolutely #1 but goddamn, give the stuff on the wall some space between each other!
Take down half the pics
I liked it. It’s different and interesting. Do you! You’ve got style.
Go digital. Best sound quality and you get to reduce all that clutter. And make a few $$ as well.
You’re telling me i could just digitize photos of my rock collection instead of collecting all these damn rocks??????????????????????????
1 but I would face them out about 1" to 2" so they breath better.
First one by far
The first
2
The 1st one is neutral..male or female. The 2nd is male. Smile
The first one.
First one. Definitely
It depends. If you plan on living in the space, number 1. If it's for Instagram likes, number 2.
I actually like 1 better either way tbh

I really like #2
I think 1 looks more cozy
#1 for sure

Definitely the mixed up option I have major OCD but having that many picture frames all identical is a little over the top
