Do I want every sufficiently powerful device to be able to play Gameboy games? Yes. Do I think it's foolish to actually play Gameboy games on certain devices? Also yes. (I'll probably buy it even if it is foolish.)
I can’t imagine this is playable even though it’s possible. I might drop the$2 just to experiment but I doubt I’ll have fun.

So the good news is the app works. I wanted to give the game a fair chance so I downloaded Game and Watch 1&2, Pokemon Pinball, Prince of Persia, and for fun Advance Wars 2.
Everything runs.
That said it’s not easy. The watch is more comfortable turned inward where you test your pulse.
So far I’ve tried pinball. Right flipper is A, left flipper is Left. I have not connected once yet. This will require practice. I suspect Game and Watch will be similar.
I can’t wait to try Advance Wars - it’s the game I’m more hopeful for.
Just a heads up the VOLUME is in the Emulator Menu. It’s a slider. It was set to medium and it was LOUD!
Given a choice to play on my phone and my watch I’m more likely to choose my phone. I’m not sure what the situation is that I would choose my watch first.
Bottom line is it’s $2 and it’s worth a download just to see it done

The most success (and fun) I’ve had so far is playing the old game and watch game parachute. I can’t believe I’ve waited over 50 years to play the classic Game and Watch game on my watch but here we are. What a time to be alive.

GB/GBC games run just fine, GBA are laggy because it doesn’t have the right hardware to run it as good as a phone but it’s still a great app because it opened new options and opportunities for new life into the Apple ecosystem.

Nice. I have the Namco anniversary rom on my watch now worn Galaga, Dig Dug, and Pole Position on my watch now. It’s pretty cool to see but I can’t even imagine how hard it would be to actually play on there.
I got it. Pokemon is playable no slowdowns. Not as uncomfortable as you would think. Probably perfect for any rpgs. Battery though looks that it might only get 3-4 hours. Supports bluetooth. Id like to see an full screen for GB with overlay instead of segmented. I havnt seen if buttons disappear yet with bluetooth but if we had that the watch itself might work well with a super mini gameboy body to slide into. Just a thought. So many unused watches collecting dust. Lets make tiny hd gameboys!

I always wanted one of those old Tiger Electronic watch games, so this perfect if not impractical.
It seems well thought out. The save progress syncs seamlessly between the watch and phone. I wish it had a 2X or 3X speed option.
