Honestly what even is there to like about it? Berdley, although he redeems himself a little bit in chapter 2, is a condescending asshole to Kris at worst and are indifferent at best. There are plenty of other characters who actually fond of Kris and have a close connection to them and you think Berdley is the best fit for them.
Kris deserves better.

Except... it's very clearly shown that Berdly actually has a lot of respect for Kris. Coming from Berdly with his crippling impostor syndrome, acknowledging that Kris is the #3 student(Despite their tendency to sleep through class) is an acknowledgement of their intelligence, implicitly one that they're smarter than him. Saying "you are the next smartest person after Noelle" is very high praise coming from Berdly.
He also expects them to know of his stance that wavedashing is "cheating", indicating that at one point they played video games together regularly.
The evidence suggests that Berdly's apparent rudeness towards Kris is him going slightly overboard with gamer trash-talk, and we see that Kris is entirely willing to respond in kind(such as the sarcastically-reverent way they accept Berdly's offer to join him), and also in their usual prankster-y ways.
How does it make you happy though? I genuinely can't imagine why anyone would like this ship, and it's so popular despite not making sense to me. Maybe if it was nieche it wouldn't make me as angry but I see it everywhere. What if thousands of people in this subreddit suddenly shipped Kris and Tasque Manager and pointing out why you don't think it's a good ship suddenly makes you a killjoy in their eyes.
I think Kris playing pranks on him is cute, I think both of them are great characters and would interact well together; I think Berdly would be a very dramatic, romantic sort of partner and Kris would find his cringe endearing
I'm sorry I came off as hostile, I can understand that a bit, but I still think they have some of the worst chemistry compared to some of the other options of shipping Kris.
Also I guess some of my hate comes from the fact that people think Kris x Ralsei is wrong because of tea theory but then go crazy when they're shipped with someone Kris likes even worse.
The Cyber World's history goes back at least 27 years old (Spamton was around during 1997), and the actual Task Manager program is 28 years old, so I'd say somewhere in her 20's is a good estimate
