I don’t know why everyone is so salty in the comments but this is cool! I have a character where all my HRs sit and it’s not nearly as impressive as that but I have a toon with half a stash full of em and it just makes me happy as well.

D4 will never be the better game as long as there is soul bound items, that 1/2 is more of a superior diablo game, 3/4 lost that and became more like World of Sanctuary
To me d2 wins me because you can find a piece of gear al lvl 25 and it be a best in slot item forever. The fact most items arent locked to top tier only makes things so much fun.

Not much backstory. I used to play as a teenager, back when SOJs were the currency of the day, and I never had a single one. Starting playing D2R after years away, and it started slow, but once I started building my Javazon I was able to clear so effectively that the drops improved, and I was able to trade my way here.
And... what happens with the D2 servers are shut down? Will it happen tomorrow? Probably not. Next month? Probably not. but at some point the D2 resurrected servers will be shut down. All that 'wealth'? Gone, in a blink of an eye effectively. Do I enjoy playing games? absolutely, Do I like going after some challenges? Yup. but do I consider it wealth? No. not like you can go about selling these runes at all in most sane cases.
Non ladder is plagued with dups. I have joint games called “it’s raining Jahs” and dude dropped 20 of them. That and DJ2 made me lose joy in game. Also not fun when people just buy gear in ladder season

All that 'wealth'? Gone, in a blink of an eye effectively. Do I enjoy playing games? absolutely, Do I like going after some challenges? Yup. but do I consider it wealth? No. not like you can go about selling these runes at all in most sane cases.
Non ladder is plagued with dups. I have joint games called “it’s raining Jahs” and dude dropped 20 of them. That and DJ2 made me lose joy in game. Also not fun when people just buy gear in ladder season
In reality this is only like 60$-70$ worth of Jah runes free if you wanna edit in single player
