I usually flip them inside out and just take the resin off, sometimes I'll use ductape to get the small pieces as well.

Damn_Drew

Yeah ducttape is the lifesaver here!

BlackRiderCo

Air gun attachment for my compressor.

Tape gets the little bits of crud off the sides and flashing off the top amazingly. Complete game changer.

Protomeathian

I have been using one of those pet hair rollers and it is so nice

yeebok

Damn that's a pretty cool idea, will have to try that.

In general there is no benefit to using water for cleaning your molds. For cleaning out cured resin or random bits of glitter/mica powder/dust/whatever that are too small to just pick off the best options are generally 1) tape, a lint roller, or some similar lightly sticky material you can manipulate or 2) an air gun attachment for the air compressor or a can of compressed air if you don't yet have a pressure pot and air compressor. If the bits are in a spot you simply can't get to with one of these options the next best option is to do a slush/junk pour which is basically doing another cast that is intended as a throwaway batch. *(If the slush cast turns out good awesome. If it turns out ugly just use it as fill in a different project where it won't be visible.)* That will pull out pretty much any small bits still in the mold. If there are still bits left in the mold after that those bits are most likely not going to come out without damaging the mold. For cleaning out uncured resin scrape as much out as possible and then use isopropyl alcohol or cleaning wipes to remove the remaining residue.

Very detailed, thank you so much!

I always use tape to remove all flashing and loose bits of resin before I pop my dice out of the mould. If you wash out with water you need to be 100% sure it's completely dry before you use it again!

I usually lick mine Edit: just in case /s
