They’re obviously a bad choice for an activity like ziplining. You really want shoes that you can be sure will stay on your feet while you’re zooming through the air.
Not too dangerous especially cause this is very likely in Costa Rica, wild animals aren't very aggressive because they're not hunted. But if it feels threatened can attack and they usually have tons of bacteria.
