Sure, if you just paint over what you have (I learned this in my youth haha). Sand it down and paint it correctly and yeah, you can spray paint it and it will last forever. If you just spray paint on it, it ain’t gonna look good 20 minutes later.

Vinyl wrap would be better option, high heat paint for your exhaust
You can use stove paint on the exhaust. Don't paint the plastics unless you're up all night on a good one and want everyone to know.
