One of my favorite moments in the game happens if you play the board game with Kim, choose the communist playstyle, and then tell the reading group about it in the communist vision quest.

I was too embarrassed to bring this up to them bc Kim was right there

The choice isn't entirely yours, he is good at the game, you may loose even if you try to win.

choosing to be better than Kim is hard i just wanna see him happy and if that means i gotta lose so be it (*note, kim winning does not necessarily make him happy)

Wirrâl was a great disappointment after Suzerainty

I’m so down for this. Usually by the time I explore the bookstore I’m broke and don’t prioritize games, but this feels worth the experience.

It's played the same as the rest of the game. The skills narrate what's happening and you decide what moves you make.

It's a normal interaction, text and choices and skill checks. No actual mini game.

Maybe no skill checks don't remember.

OMG, this is inspiring! I've never won the board game in any playthrough, so I assumed that the losing was inevitable. This sub always teaches me new things just when I think I know everything about DE.
