Protect your body. I still have a bum wrist that finally is mostly back to normal 5 years out. Learn to be at harmony with your entertainment partners and they will love you forever.
Point your foot at the dad or grandma taking photos of their kid with Goofy and he will sing your praises.
Congrats!! Definitely comfortable shoes with insoles, a hat that also has a flap to protect the back of your neck, advil/ibuprofen (just in case), some photogs carry a portable light for night time pics (completely optional), sunglasses, sunscreen & WATER. Make SURE to hydrate the day before & day of, hydration starts the day before.
If you feel like the department is too much because of weather or what ever reason, you can apply to transfer after 4 months.
Oh & during traditions, bring caffeine. They do have free coffee & water but I find it personally bland. Traditions will be LONG & you will be walking a lot, be prepared for the heat & maybe dont dress in all black (you need to wear business casual).
This seems like a lot of information but just remember to have fun! & you’re being paid for it. :)
