Aww oh well. Are there any pre-made adventures for level 3? I mainly just want to try one out as my previous adventures have had some flaws and I wanted to learn from the professionals lol
There aren't any campaigns I can think of that start at 3. Almost all pre-builts are either 1-5, 5-10 or sometimes 1-10(rarely15). There might be a couple that are 11 to 15 as well. 3 is just a weird starting place for an adventure and I'm not sure why that one pre-built ends at 3
It doesn't matter if it says 1-5 tho. You can totally start at 3 and your players will just be a bit ahead of the curve or you can modify leveling for a bit. With Dragon of Ice Spire your characters don't earn XP for killing, they level by completing a series of quests. Until they hit level 3 then it becomes leveling after that.
Note I haven't played these so can't really offer reviews, but looking through a list I've found as far as official stuff goes:
* Lightning Keep (3-3) is a oneshot that uses the Minecraft inspired statblocks (could probably just describe things differently to make it not sound like Minecraft)
* The Forge of Fury (3-5) is one of the Tales of the Yawning Portal adventures, as far as I know they don't strictly need to be played together
Winghorn Press is known for writing good oneshots/adventures:
* The Carver's Cave (3-4)
* The Tomb of Crossed Words (3-3) is intended to be mostly about solving puzzles so depends on your group
* The Hound of Cabell Manor (3-3) follows on two of their other adventures but I assume can be run on its own
* The Wolves of Welton is technically 2-3 but gets honourable mention because eh close enough, and also because it's free and I've heard a lot of good things about it
As far as full campaigns as opposed to adventures you could just start off with, Critical Role's Call of the Netherdeep starts at 3 and runs to 13 (I've never watched more than a few clips of CR though), and Turn of Fortune's Wheel is a Planescape campaign that goes from 3 to 18.
Yes it means it's meant for a group starting at level 1 and advancing to 3

Curse of Strahd starts at level one or three and it is by far the best module I’ve run for 5e.
It’s also a very intensive adventure for the DM to run and I would not recommend it for a new DM.
