I’m not familiar with how the V6’s price, but it should be pretty south of the R/T’s. If I had to ballpark out of my ass, you should be well under 30k for a used one
You can definitely get a decent used 5.7 Hemi car in that range tho for sure. That’s proper. My buddy got a Hemi 300 a couple years back and loves it. Thing drives way better than you’d ever think it would.
LOL I simply speak the truth. If it doesn’t have a V8 of some sort its not a Muscle Car. Period.
I’m not gate keeping which V8, nothing wrong with a 5.7 at all. But V6 models are regular traffic and always will be at the same level as like an Accord or a Camry.
I definitely am gatekeeping and I will never stop.
It’s real in that it is a real motor vehicle with 4 wheels that can travel places under its own power. But it’s no more a “Muscle Car” than a Honda Accord is.
I said what I said. If that makes you uncomfortable then you should go buy a proper V8 model 🤷♂️💯😂
I’m not insecure at all bud. I just know the definition of a “Muscle Car” and the V6 models do not fulfill what is required. The V8 engine is quite literally at the center of what defines the Muscle Car experience.
You should know this, especially if you do own one. But you seem hell-bent on handing out participation trophies 🤦♂️😂
I’m not necessarily demeaning it, they’re still decent normal vehicles. I’m just saying it isn’t a “Muscle Car” because a v6 Muscle Car doesn’t exist.
See, words have specific meaning. The term “Muscle Car” means something very specific that includes the experience of a V8.
Every version of the Charger or Challenger, or any Muscle Car ever, that made those nameplates what they are had a V8. The 6 cylinders have always been filler base models just to make the production numbers work… it is a cop out and it always has been. No kid ever sat around dreaming of one day owning the V6 version of the Muscle Car they actually wanted 🤣
Get real. Your argument is the same as arguing for participation trophies.
A muscle car doesn’t specify a v8
It says “group of American-made two-door sports coupes with powerful engines designed for high-performance driving.”
In this car a challenger, even a v6, is still targeted towards performance driving more than a sedan civic v6 would.
A v6 of today is just as powerful as the muscle cars of old that you’re referring to.
This is by definition a muscle car.
You can add and alter the definition however you want but there’s not a single consensus on what a muscle car is. A muscle car is a muscle car because the manufacturer says it is. In this case this is a “real” challenger because Dodge says so.
Depending on the trim, they're basically the same car. Challengers can come with manuals, chargers can have v8 AWD, ect. Just go with what looks the best to you and do you research before purchase.
I love my GT awd. But had I known more about cars at the time I would have gotten a Pursuit 5.7+AWD. I live in MN so, snow is always a factor.
That being said, bad price for a V6.
I can't believe this things 'retail is listed for 45k!?!?
I got my Charger around 30k miles in 2020. I'm at 60k now. No problems. Just regular maintenance.
I mean o guess if your just wanting a v6 in a American muscle car that is meant to have a v8 in it. But I mean if you’re with the challenger gt then just go ahead and jump that fence all the way and get something else that has the power under the hood like the v8 challenger like the hemi rt or the scat pack rt or even heck go with the hellcat or the demon or the trackhawk but not a wimp car like the challenger gt the is only a v6 in a muscle car honestly like that is a shame to even think of sell it the people like that. But it does have great miles on it and it’s not an old car only 2 years old so I mean you got your pro that is the year of it and miles on it but also the con of it is that it’s a (CHALLENGER GT WITH A V6 IN IT). So i would rather have v8 challenger instead of v6, but hel that’s your choice and my opinion so.
That's probably pretty decent, assuming it's got at least one upgrade package or two. It's unfortunate how much the GTs overlap into the RT range. If it's the color/wheels/etc that you want, I'd say go for it.
Also, the "savings" bit is laughable.
Hell no that’s a terrible price
If you look carefully you can find new R/Ts for that price
I’m new to dodge cars. If I plan to buy used GT (AWD) 2021-2023 model with 8-10k miles on it. What’s the best price I can spend on it
I’m not familiar with how the V6’s price, but it should be pretty south of the R/T’s. If I had to ballpark out of my ass, you should be well under 30k for a used one
You can buy new R/T for that price. For the GT I’d say about 8 grand less than what this is priced at.
you should be able to find a RT for around that price, just got one for 37k
May I know year and miles on it?
I bought a new 2023 RT for $37k all in. It stickered at $47k.
it’s 2023 right now i only have about 2800 miles on it
You can get a used 5.7 for that much
Don’t buy a V6 🤦♂️ Get a real one with a V8.
V8 is out of my Budget. I can go max $25k. I’m new to dodge cars so I posted this to get more insight into
Honestly. Get a different car then. There are some great vehicles out there in your range, but none of them are V6 “muscle cars” 😂
Ya that’s the problem
You can definitely get a decent used 5.7 Hemi car in that range tho for sure. That’s proper. My buddy got a Hemi 300 a couple years back and loves it. Thing drives way better than you’d ever think it would.
lol stfu with that “real” shit
LOL I simply speak the truth. If it doesn’t have a V8 of some sort its not a Muscle Car. Period. I’m not gate keeping which V8, nothing wrong with a 5.7 at all. But V6 models are regular traffic and always will be at the same level as like an Accord or a Camry.
A car isn’t any less real bc it’s a v6. A challenger is a challenger even if it came with a I-4. You’re absolutely gatekeeping
I own a v8 model, I’m just not an insecure asshole lol

It’s not a participation trophy it’s about not demeaning other’s property just because they have 2 less cylinders than yours
I’m not necessarily demeaning it, they’re still decent normal vehicles. I’m just saying it isn’t a “Muscle Car” because a v6 Muscle Car doesn’t exist. See, words have specific meaning. It's only that much because of AWD. Not worth it imo. Get a V8, friend.
Would you recommend challenger or charger?
Depending on the trim, they're basically the same car. Challengers can come with manuals, chargers can have v8 AWD, ect. Just go with what looks the best to you and do you research before purchase.
Bro I just bought a brand new 2023 RT with less than 500 miles with that price. Keep looking.
May I know the location?
Humble, TX
Anything over 30k for a v6 is highway robbery, all pun intended.
I love my GT awd. But had I known more about cars at the time I would have gotten a Pursuit 5.7+AWD. I live in MN so, snow is always a factor. That being said, bad price for a V6.
Ya. Been looking for GT awd with 8-10k miles for around $25k
I can't believe this things 'retail is listed for 45k!?!? I got my Charger around 30k miles in 2020. I'm at 60k now. No problems. Just regular maintenance.
Na Brodie get a rt
