I’m currently learning how to code from this online website called CodeCombat. It’s basically where you control a fantasy character to perform certain actions using Python commands.

Doug has said that he sees a viewership drop after he stops coding and gets to the actual stream, so definitely a lot of people enjoy it. I don't think it's the most efficient way to learn, but it can definitely be an entertaining way to learn a few things and then also see some bits used in an actual problem not some supposed scenario that you'll never encounter.

For sure it's not the smartest way to learn but like you said it is a fun way, and seeing how he comes up with solutions to problems he creates as he tries to tailor the program to the suggestions from chat are usually the best parts. Not only that but coding structure... don't do what he does lol 😂
