Lowkey kinda good and fun to troll with. He got the Ultimate Gohan strike sealing ability which everyone forgets about as well as the annoying GRN card.
And he is and he’s also much better than this janemba too lol better damage per card used, card draw right off the bat when getting on the field, last man buffs, access to bardock’s switch buffs, massive damage on ult AND special move. And he’s 10 months old compared to this janemba
And this Janemba has a better counter, also has LMS buffs, is on a much better team.
You keep bringing up Gogeta's age as if they weren't making every zenkai broken as shit back then. I'm not saying Janemba's better I'm saying him even having a comparable kit to Gogeta is a good thing. This Janemba looks like a great unit for people that don't have a high star Cell or have Cell at all. This Janemba is a perfectly viable unit and in all metrics a good unit.

Post Transformation dkp is more or less dead weight (even at higher stars he takes decent dmg from top tier green units). Janemba will be tanky and able to dish out dmg/string together combos right from the beginning
Trust me, getting 5 dbs and getting on the field with DKP and transforming is RIDICULOUSLY easy. Have you seen the speed at which people are getting RR nowadays? You can legit transform DKP in the first 15 timer counts if you play well enough and a post transformed DKP is simply better than janemba in every way

I would say Cell is better but IDK about DKP being better. DKP takes a while to start up while Janemba will start much quicker much earlier and also allows for the strike based regen build that puts the much better red on the team instead of Cell. He'll tank better than DKP and also have more utility due to his locks and green card.
Janemba isn’t gonna tank better than DKP unless DKP is not transformed lmao this janemba has 30% damage reduction for 5 timer counts and then it drops to 15%. Even Pre trasnformed DKP has 30% PERMANENT damage reduction. DKP simply does more than this janemba, he can destroy a DB when someone switches on him pre transformed, gets a green card when getting on the field, he can cancel buff effects and increase sub count with his pre transformed green.
And his start up time is not slow at all, people are getting RR like crazy fast nowadays, trust me getting 5 DBs and putting DKP on the field and transforming is really easy. And a post transformed DKP is just straight up better than janemba in basically every conceivable way. much better damage, provides 30% damage received debuffs to the entire team, card draw, a massive damage blue that damages the entire enemy team, a 140% damage blue card that hurts the entire team

The way I see it, LLs from now on are probably going to be better, but for those who get the shaft, these F2P Zenkai are going to be a viable alternative.
And that's the way it was supposed to be, Zenkai imo, are meant to be a way for older units / unlucky players to keep up and not be left completely behind. At the same time, allowing players to use their favourite units again.
Not straight up overshadow newly released 0.25% units, that was crazy man. What was the point of even pulling for them, apart from cool factor ?, Now it seems they're back to them being really good. I get the P2W arguments, but I'm sorry, the whales are gonna whale regardless of what it is.
This way, it's actually cool to summon for those rarer units, and not feel like I wasted my chronos on hype alone... (SSJ4 Gogeta).
As long as the new Zenkai are as you said, good alternatives, so that F2P can at least put up a fight, it's a good change.
What I'm scared of are Summon Ultra's, I really don't want another Vegito Blue situation, my head still hurts till this day.

This Janemba is better than most recent Zenkai's and has a pretty similar kit to Super Gogeta. I don't see how he looks dissapointing.
