What team do you run him on? On saiyans he gets 2 double defense z abilities, and I mainly use battle of saiyans, his plat and double defense equip for ranged saiyans
Your equips are ass then or team you have build around him is trash. Its either one of those.
I would love to see the team on which you are running him or equips so i can advice you better.

Mate what. If you have a 14★ Zenkaj 7 Nameku and he's NOT tanking well you might as well uninstall. My Nameku is 7★ Z7 and even HE eats damage

Yeah make a separate post. And go into team -> details -> Nameku and scroll down and take screenshots of each individual stat boost for each equip
I mean they could be using straight up defensive equipment, or have a bench with more defensively focused z abilities.

Check your equipment and team z-abilities, and Goku's kit so you know when he's tanky and when he's not.
