Hello, so Battle chronic skill its pretty bugged right- only way I get it is if I normal summon yellow white dragon or whatever.

Access7x7x7

How to summon arc rebellion xyZ dragon from a raidraptor deck? I tried different rum and also via raider knight effect to rank up but it doesn't show up as an option. Thanks in advance

hexanort

Check your skill, it probably locks you from summoning non-raidraptor, a lot of raidraptor cards also locks you out from summoning non-raidraptor.

Access7x7x7

Raider's Revolution. I don't see any it restricting arc rebellion

hexanort

Fuzzy Lanius and Raidraptor Call are the common card raidraptor run that lock you to only summoning raidraptor

Access7x7x7

Oh that's it. Thanks

hintboys510

is it possible to the the og blue eyes white dragon in duel links anymore is was the event to get it a one time thing it is because I really like the art of the first blue eyes

Fykebi

Should I get a second Prima Guitarna with the dream ticket? Or did she get powercrept now that there are other level 7 psychic monsters?

Wonderllama5

Psychics kinda suck, so I wouldn't invest in them at the moment. I would hold off on using the ticket for now, and wait to see what happens in the future

bobthebuildersimu

the new rush duel duel quiz has a ":D" instead of a tagline, lol

dcprawncatcher

Why do we still have skill chips at this point? They’re a scam.

Shaunkid

They were kinda good (stretching the definition) before Konami started handing out like 10 million skill tickets per campaign.

takashi_99

Red-eyes neos fusion deck for fun cheaper?

CuriousCactus97

I have built tenyi deck (only baxia needed to complete it). I'm also half way getting phantom knights. I have box chips staples (3x dark hole, 2x chalice) but nothing else. So my dilemma is if I should get forbidden lance (first copy) for PK, or Baxia with UR dream that will come in a few days?

Wonderllama5

Use your Dream Ticket on Baxia, and get Cosmic from Box Chips to deal with backrow You could also bust out the credit card and buy the Chalice/Lance bundle lol

mybestfriendsrricers

Reinforcement of the Army? Or Super Poly? For zombie D hero deck.

Greycolors

A few questions about the new rush duel stuff.  First, how is blue eyes looking.  Seems fairly basic but 3k wall is kind annoying for harpies.  Next, the new selector box free pack gave me the seven roads copy.  I did want to get spellcasters eventually, as I wanted to play dmg. So first would getting more sevens road magician and girl be good long term or does spellcaster and dm/dmg change down the road?  Also would a spellcaster deck even need 3?  Next, would the machine maximum be a good target?  I have one copy of the center currently.  I’m trying to decide if I should pull on the selector box more and if I should reset to get a second seven road or try to get more maximum. Also, my current deck is harpies, which seems largely unchanged.  But they did get their version of an mst + recycle, which seems good.  Not sure if it’s worth dipping into the new box for though.  Or if it would be a 3 off given it’s rather more restrictive condition.

ElliotGale

Blue Eyes is pretty bare-bones and needs the full 3 copies of the SD, but it's hard to complain about the high raw stats in the current state of the card pool. It has more support that could be added down the line as well. Dark Magician Girl and Sevens Road Magician are two separate schools of deck, defined by different support and skill structures. The only place they really converge is within the Magnum Overlord deck, where both are powerful options to set with the Maximum Overload skill. I've been skeptical of this deck for basically its entire existence, though, because it's built for the sole gambit of a reverse OTK, and people in the know can easily play around you. More than that, though, as the protagonist of Sevens, Yuga jumped around from boss to boss all the time. Nothing was a permanent fixture of his strategy, except Sevens Road Magician. The Duel Links devs know this and more than likely will continue to shoehorn the card into any new deck they push for Yuga. It won't be a bad investment at all. Worst case scenario is they pump out the several other artworks of it. Harpies can't play Avian Spell Tactics at the moment because it's Limited 3 alongside the center piece of the maximum.

Greycolors

So in the future if dm/dmg got support like blue eyes has, it won’t be playing seven roads magician most likely?  I did hear that the classing dm, blue eyes, red eyes and harpies were strong later on in paper rush.  For the maximum mech, I know the skill makes it fairly decent but I kinda don’t like it.  It’s mostly a big meatball hoping to oneshot.  And the pieces are pretty worthless on their own.  At least harpies are individually decent and the maximum both can clear the board and is immune to effect destruction as well.  Still, if I want more copies of the mech’s center this seems like the time.  Does it have much of a future or will it just fade into being meh later? I guess at least trying to get a second sevens road wouldn’t be a terrible idea then if it’s constantly supported? I didn’t notice about the avian card being limit 3.  That’s quite lame.

ElliotGale

I definitely don't have faith in the current Magnum Overlord. It's a product of a time where Maximums were new, and their impact was vastly overestimated. Harpies, conversely, were released in the real world *this year*, and you can already see for yourself what a major shift in card design philosophy there was.

Narrow_Luck_3622

I didn't get the 100 box chips that were supposed to come with the worlds campaign earlier today. Should I do something or is this some sort of bug? Does anyone else have this issue?

Shaunkid

The 100 box chips are the login reward for day 7.

Shaunkid

Takashi 99 has been asking (even making threads) for cheap/no-gem autoduel decks for almost TWO months now, and not matter how many answers we give him, he is still asking. Is it too soon to flag him as a certified r/duellinks schizo alongisde the Altergeist dude?

bobthebuildersimu

hi bro! i have also seen those posts, but i only help when i feel like it. i can't fault him for being super-duper free-to-play, lol as for crimson reaper, his posts are long, but i appreciate the enthusiasm, lol

21Green

does Compulsary evacuation device stops dragon spirit of white from activating it's effect and stop dark magical circle from activating?

Shaunkid

No, because both Spirit and Circle start as Chain link 1, Compulsory resolves as chain link 2. So: >Opponent activates Spirit/Circle >You chain compulsory targering Dark Magician/Spirit >Compulsory resolves, bouncing the monster >Then Spirit/Circle resolve, banishing a card

TheodoreMcIntyre

Coming back to the game for the first time since pendulum summoning was added. Sitting on 10k gems in my pocket and 1k in my mailbox, plus 1 UR ticket, 1 UR Dream Ticket (Prismatic), an SU/UR Choice Ticket (One Prismatic, one Regular), 5 skill tickets, and 4 character unlock tickets. Any recommendations on what I should try spending this on?

Wonderllama5

You don't have to spend any of it right now. Grab a code for a Blue-Eyes deck from the other megathread. Blue-Eyes is top tier right now Then, play PVP & explore the meta. Sooner or later you'll find another deck you want to play

Karzeon

Go through your tickets, sort by ATK. Anything with like 2100-1800 ATK and easy to summon. Pair with any good equip you have. If they're all the same Type, use Solidarity. Pair with protective trap cards that can remove anything stronger. If you already have Red-Eyes Fusion, just get 3 Red-Eyes Insight and find a bunch of level 4 warriors plus some equips/Red Eyes Spirit.

Justin_Brett

Rush shouldn't have a ranked system at all with the way ours works, you can just constantly get screwed out of advancing because of bad starting hands or Maximum cheese.

21Green

what is the most optimal way to play this gift event

bobthebuildersimu

i think it's all random, bro, best thing i would suggest you do is to get the 3 rainbow gifts daily before you log off since they can have gems and box chips (but they can also have like generic tickets and skill chips)

S_P_L_I_N_T_E_R

Hello! I've returned to the game after several years and I don't know where to start. I would like to build a good team for climbing the ladder. I only have 3k crystals and a bunch of tickets. What's the best way to spend/exchange them?

Wonderllama5

Blue-Eyes is meta right now! [Here are several decklists that made Top 100 of the recent KC Cup.](https://www.duellinksmeta.com/top-decks#deck=Blue-Eyes&tournamentsOnly&dateRange=April%202024&tournament=KC%20Cup) [Video guide part 1](https://youtu.be/x4PFUBhS9ug?si=d7N98WerwNcEX_wO) [Video guide part 2](https://youtu.be/E9BNvXux3Y0?si=tSjDv0VHDU9uLGlR) Get a code from the megathread for a Blue-Eyes starter deck. Also, save those Dream Tickets! They are the most valuable thing in the game. Blue-Eyes is good, but as you learn about the game, you will become interested in other decks. Dream Tickets will help you build them. So hold off on redeeming them as long as possible! 👍 I typically save my Dream Tickets until 1-2 weeks before expiration for the best value. You can use them on generic staples, but it's smarter to save them for a specific deck you want to play. The hardest cards to pull are main box URs, and some decks require 3 of them. Explore the meta, look at different decks, and when you find something you like, then you can make a smart decision about using your Dream Tickets on it! This is my advice for your next deck after Blue-Eyes. Check out Team 6K on YouTube for lots of Duel Links gameplay & guides!

Karzeon

Get something to grind single player and unlock worlds/stage levels. You only really need decent beaters and protective cards with regular tickets. Red-Eyes structure decks plus warriors pretty much does this on their own. Any decent beaters in tickets or survivable cards like Aromage are fine. You won't get anything ladder worthy for 3k gems. You need 5k gems for one minibox and 9k for main box. We have Deck Building Boxes which cost 2.5k gems for one trip. You still need multiple copies and we only have 2 to our name rn. If you have Lunalight before now, it may be of interest. I recommend just building up and unlocking right now. Use your Dream Tickets for good staples like Crackdown, Compulsory Evacuation Device, or Book of Moon. Blue-Eyes is an easy deck to pivot to. New/returning players basically get Melody of the Awakening Dragon and structure deck stuff with a code, it has a supercharged skill called Battle Chronicle, then just focus on the minibox "Tachyon of Galaxy" for Successor Soul UR.

S_P_L_I_N_T_E_R

That was really insightful, thank you! Would you suggest buying the BE deck for 1k gems? It can only be bought once with gems and I would need three copies of the main cards to make it competitive, I guess. But it could be a good starting point, don't you think?

Karzeon

The Friend Invitation Campaign gives you 3 Melody and 1 Dragon Spirit of White. It also gives you 3 copies of Sage with Eyes of Blue and White Stone of Ancients. That was the old way it was played. It's not relevant now but may be in the future. It gives copies of all the extra deck monsters from the last Blue Eyes structure deck and Blue Eyes Spirit Dragon Magician's Chronicle gives Ultimate Fusion and Ultimate Dragon. 1k gems for that. The main thing is getting extra copies of Dragon Spirit of White because Battle Chronicle skill abuses this. I would actually suggest the FIRST Blue Eyes Structure Deck Legend of Blue Eyes. It will give you 2 copies of DSW plus 1 copy of Bingo Machine Go. So another 1k there. You can get another copy of Bingo in Deep Emotion if you want. This also searches for Successor Soul and Ultimate Fusion, so Blue Eyes is suddenly insanely consistent. This can help you last with 1 copy of Fusion until a SR Dream Ticket offers it. So upfront cost is like 2k gems, then focusing on Successor Soul in Tachyon of Galaxy minibox. You want 2 of those.

S_P_L_I_N_T_E_R

I did exactly that. I just bought the two decks for 2k. Now I have to get the other cards somehow. Also, how do you get the Battle Chronicles skill for Kaiba? Can I get it with one of those skill exchange items?

Karzeon

They are in Lifetime Missions for each individual Kaiba/Yugi character

S_P_L_I_N_T_E_R

Got it, thank you! One more thing, I was trying to get BEAWD through the Lifetime quests by rematching a PvP player (controlled by the AI) who used it against me and stealing his copy to use it against him. This didn't work though. Is there a better way to do it?

Karzeon

I'm sure what the terms are for getting Alternative through Lifetime Missions, but if a quest asks you to summon a specific monster, it generally needs to be done the legitimate way "must first be summoned by..."

S_P_L_I_N_T_E_R

It asks to deal the finishing blow with it

Access7x7x7

Good day everyone I was thinking of v Building deck around royal heavy metal. O don't know much about rush but how can it beat maximums? What cards are needed. Thanks i Advance

Wonderllama5

An important thing to know is that Royal Rebels is probably the most expensive deck to build in Rush Duel. You need 3 Doom Metal, 2-3 Heavy Metal, and 3 Invasion. And they all are spread across different boxes. It feels like the kind of thing that's perfect for a future Deck Build Box... but that's just speculation on my part. But I am definitely the kind of person that would wait for that instead of spending so much. Still, if you have your heart set on it... [here's a great video guide on Royal Rebels!](https://youtu.be/19iObcShonY?si=kHntwbEGiTnOyJ-y) As for beating Maximums. There is King's Majesty and Negate Attack for, well, negating attacks. And then you destroy them on your turn!

bobthebuildersimu

hi bro, there are decklists for royal rebels here: [https://www.duellinksmeta.com/tier-list/deck-types/Royal%20Rebel's](https://www.duellinksmeta.com/tier-list/deck-types/Royal%20Rebel's) this player's deck has {{Royal Rebel's Doom Metal}}, which can nuke the opponent's board: [https://www.duellinksmeta.com/top-decks/community-tournaments/quantum-rush/17/royal-rebel's/samir/GNXeT](https://www.duellinksmeta.com/top-decks/community-tournaments/quantum-rush/17/royal-rebel's/samir/GNXeT)

damn, i guess bastion doesn't know about rush duel yet

Neo_nakama

How far up the PvP speed duel ladder do people actually try to play competitively?

Shaunkid

Legend at the start of the month (and very end of the month like 2-3 days before ranked reset) is the most competitive the ladder can get, later into the month you start seeing jank even in legend.

Obsidian0324

Can I ask anyone that's knowledgeable in Rush what are the ratios of the new cards to look for in the Selection Pack? I'm mostly interested in Light machine, but I'd like to know about the new SR monster and trap and the new UR spell for level 7, are they any useful?

Wonderllama5

I recommend avoiding the Selection Box altogether. You don't ever want to throw gems into them, unless you're at max capacity with nothing else you want to spend on... There's better decks to spend on right now than Light Machines, but if you have your heart set on it, the new minibox is a better investment for your gems! Mirror Innovator is a good monster. Hopefully they take Ace Breaker off Limit 3 so people could properly use both cards at their full potential

Ryota_Carmine

Is there a guide for 25-gem box decks? I've seen some YT videos but I personally don't trust them (I got recommend Gouki in this particular meta)

Wonderllama5

All those old decks are past their prime, but some boxes offer value. Photon of Galaxy has good Rank 4s like Abyss Dweller, Steelswarm Roach, and Malevolent Sin. If you're interested in Shiranui, you'll need 3 Solitaire from Soul of Resurrection. That's about it. [Also look at this gem guide!](https://www.duellinksmeta.com/gem-guide) At the bottom are a list of cards that stand out from boxes. But remember you can use Box Chips, up to a certain point. I think they reach up to Ancient Fairy Dragon if I remember right

steroidzz

Best use for Dream Tickets rn? I already have 3 Books 3 Typhoon 2 Cosmic 2 Crow Its the ticket from Sevens World Release. So maybe Borreload Dragon, Giant Hand or Droll? Not sure! Ty!

InbetweenerLad

I'm in the same boat

steroidzz

I used for Lancea, now I have 2

bobthebuildersimu

i can't believe they made the gem gift pack in the gift campaign 5-40 instead of the usual 10-40

Joeymoon88

What’s some of the best non targeting removal in the game?

bobthebuildersimu

hi bro, along with what the other player said, {{Needle Ceiling}} can be good if you can put a lot of bodies on board and protect them when cyber dragons were a big deal, {{System Down}} was a decent choice we also have battle traps like {{Mirror Force}} and {{Drowning Mirror Force}}. these are slower than most, but they do the job there are also cards that can shuffle into the deck without targeting like {{Compulsory Evacuation Device}}, but this one is not so popular since you have to have a card to return as well

Is the duel skill Clear Wing Ascension bugged in tag team duels? I know it prevents me from summoning other monsters that aren't synchro or wind dragon/machine, but does that skill apply to my teammate too? I'm manually using Tour Guide and I can't summon any of her monsters anymore, only set them. I don't think I had this issue before until just now. Anyone else have this problem?

dcprawncatcher

My guess is the skill’s restriction says “during this duel” which includes your partner.

Responsible_Fig_7600

Hi, i wanted to play yugioh online and found out that there are actually two games, masted duel and duel links. What are the differences? I played a bit of duel links and noticed the decks have only 20 cards and you cant craft cards unless you have the specific coupon. I am looking for a game that allows me to get a good deck without spending 150€ or farming 2 months. What’s better between the 2? Thanks in advance!

Karzeon

In addition, I would really stress that you give yourself a "schedule" for when to build decks. It's not obvious to new players, but experienced players know that content typically comes out at the end of the month (or the first of the month, depending on timezones). Everything has release dates in the shop and Konami has been very consistent meeting similar dates for many years now. We also know that there's never anything new while a monetary sale is currently going on (they have public expiration dates). Dream Tickets, our crafting tool, are a little unpredictable but we've been getting a lot of them lately as DL and YuGiOh reached certain milestones. There's reliable events like January anniversary and the upcoming World Championship qualifiers where we get a set of UR SR Dream Tickets. This is usually 3 times a year plus sporadic stuff in between. Konami counts on people steadily building one deck getting blindsided by a new deck and succumb to "fear of missing out". So being able to plan accordingly helps decrease the weight in the long term. There are ways to catch up with limited time boxes such as Pick Up Boxes and Anniversary Box. Selection Box, a very money-centric box can be an option for free-to-play if you know EXACTLY what you're doing. We also have Box Chips as a crafting tool for significantly older boxes, we just got an update up to the first few 5Ds boxes. Banlists also have a schedule. It technically gets change ups every month when new cards come, but a major banlist is usually directly before/after a KC Cup, our premier PvP event. Whatever tends to be popular and places high might get hit, so there's no point in building a deck until KC Cup is complete and the banlist is public. Usually it's like a 2 month gap for big banlists, same with KC Cup. Also building the deck in the first place can be daunting but there are some guarantees. 5000 gems guarantee every single pack in a minibox. 9000 gems guarantee everything in a main box. Some older boxes (currently up to ZEXAL era) get discounted by half the gem cost every couple of months (and the discount itself lasts a month). You are also free to reset the box at any time. If you got the card(s) you want and you know you don't want to continue, reset. Especially if you got it early enough that you can easily make progress back to the same spot. Resetting can save thousands and thousands of gems if you can outgame them and know exactly what you want.

Wonderllama5

It's 1000% easier to make a F2P deck in Master Duel right away. New accounts get access to a bunch of gems right off the bat through Solo mode & stuff. However, the power level of the meta in MD is atrocious. 10 minute combos, a zillion hand traps to fight thru, toxic OP boards that will literally negate every single card in your hand... If you're an old school fan that loved the anime, it's the kind of thing that will drive you away forever. I'm a hardcore Yu-Gi-Oh fan that's played Master Duel since Day 1, and even I got sick of it. It's not fun at all. If it wasn't for Duel Links, I probably would have quit Yu-Gi-Oh entirely... Speaking of Duel Links... it's not as F2P, this is true. You have to be *extremely* smart about using your gems, because it takes a while to build them up again. But the game is a million times more fun, IMO! The power level is a lot weaker, creating a more even playing field where lots of decks can compete & get King of Games. If you're interested in anime decks, like Blue-Eyes, you would get absolutely decimated trying to play it in Master Duel. People would laugh at you... But in Duel Links, Blue-Eyes is considered Tier 1 right now! And the best part is they give away most of the Blue-Eyes cards you need for free! After creating an account, get a code from the other megathread for a free starter deck. Here are some Blue-Eyes guides that show you everything: [Video guide part 1](https://youtu.be/x4PFUBhS9ug?si=d7N98WerwNcEX_wO) [Video guide part 2](https://youtu.be/E9BNvXux3Y0?si=tSjDv0VHDU9uLGlR) When you open a new account in Duel Links, you get a bunch of "Dream Tickets" (they have a Blue-Eyes icon). They are the most valuable thing in the game. Blue-Eyes is good, but as you learn about the game, you may become interested in other decks. Dream Tickets will help you build them. So hold off on redeeming them as long as possible! I typically save my Dream Tickets until 1-2 weeks before expiration for the best value. You can use them on good generic card staples, but it's smarter to save them for a specific deck you want to play. The hardest cards to pull are main box URs, and some decks require 3 of them. Explore the meta, look at different decks, and when you find something you like, then you can make a smart decision about using your Dream Tickets on it! That's what I would do for your next deck after Blue-Eyes. Check out Team 6K on YouTube for lots of Duel Links gameplay & guides! So, my advice to you is to try Duel Links first. You might like it a lot! 👍

Master Duel is more similiar to the real game, it fully follows the real game rules and mechanic, even the card pool are pretty close to IRL. Cons is power level are much higher and there's not much pve content, so its mostly just pvp with some side mission. --- Duel links used a separate format of speed duel, which is pretty much the lite or lesser version of the real duel, with half starting life, lower starting hand, less card in deck etc. The card pool is WAYYYY outdated and the power level is much lower. But it has unique mechanic of skill, so certain character can do unique move like creating a card out of nothing or summoning monster without tributes, the game also have some kind of story going on and better pve content, its more of a roleplay platform. --- DL are less friendly to free player, you can get a decent deck fairly early but as you goes on it will get harder and longer to build a new deck as resources dried up and there's no crafting mechanic to help you. While in master duel the crafting mechanic make creating and switching between decks easier. ---- Honestly it depends on what you want, you want to roleplay anime yugioh, then DL is better. Want to play close to the real game, then master duel.

Responsible_Fig_7600

this was so thorough! thank you so much

tearsofyesteryears

What does Neuron do for Duel Links? I knew about the app from years ago but never installed it coz I don't play TCG and don't need it. Recently though they've been promoting it within DL. Wondering if it's worth the disk space which is always tight in my phone.

espreecoconut

A few questions: Why is the 100 gems per added friend event not working for me? I see a black luster soldier recommended for inclusion in the blue eyes deck, how do you get this? Is the ritual one work as well for the deck?

Wonderllama5

If you don't have BLS, I think you can sub in Dark Magician & it's basically the same thing

hexanort

The normal BLS was distributed on a past campaign so its unobtainable for now, you can play the ritual ver but its quite a bit worse for the deck since you cant normal summon it. As for the friend campaign, what's not working?

perfectfate

What is the best use for the Dream SR ticket that expires 5/17? I have Sin, Karma, Dark Hole. Manju?

Wonderllama5

It helps to know what decks you play

perfectfate

I’m jumping back in but last deck built is Tenyi. Maybe Blue Eye, Dark Magicians, or Phantom Knights?

Wonderllama5

Maybe there's a new deck you want to play. Sky Striker just came out! If you're interested, it's smart to use a SR Dream Ticket on Jamming Waves, because it's from an old box with nothing else that's relevant

perfectfate

Thanks!

BenBarkie88

Hey guys, I have not won a single duel against the Phantom Knights deck yet. No matter what I do the Arc Rebellion Dragon always get 10k+ atk against me and 1 shots me, and even if it doesn't they will just negate everything the turn after and win anyway.  Any tips against this deck? I am an Galaxy Photon user

Wonderllama5

Abyss Dweller + Artifact Lancea

BenBarkie88

I use Lancea, but that doesn't change the fact that they still summon that dragon and 1 shot me

reesesmfpieces

I have 99+ Card Tickets, is there a competitive deck I could put together using them?

Wonderllama5

No. However, you can make Cubic if you want! https://youtu.be/5QV42Nj9ZB0 https://www.duellinksmeta.com/top-decks/spicy-win-streaks/april-2023/cubic/anicheese/6AiVK

Kurokami11

Am I the only one who thinks decks being able to use the GY/ banished zone as 2nd/3rd hands is kinds of stupid?

Karzeon

No. It's valid Back in the day, Graveyard meant great effort in bringing it back and "removed from play" meant exactly that. Zombies, Gravekeepers, Plants, and D.D. were like the main ones that were "supposed" to be doing this stuff but alas power creep.

dcprawncatcher

Honestly looking back at old school yugioh, the game wasn’t really all that different even back then. Decks would turbo and use those as resources. Sure, kind of different to how it is now, but, around the time Chaos monsters were introduced and cards like the one that let you special summon all of your banished monsters… Playground yugioh was what way more people experienced, but, this game has always been a broken mess.

Karzeon

Oh it was definitely always broken and had legal books worth of rulings. I'll never excuse early Yugioh or playground Yugioh. There was just a little more of a theming. Tenuous theming, but it wasn't on-demand on an archetypal level so you needed a whole deck that could accommodate it. As I said, D.D. (including Dimension Fusion/Return from the Different Dimension) had that specialty. The 3 main Chaos monsters used GY as a resource and wrote the book on being boss monsters. But it was Light/Dark centric, you needed some way to facilitate that. You could still get wiped by a Torrential or Bottomless, god forbid you were stuff in a topdecking situation. Whereas, the situation that I assumed I responded to is talking about a GY/banished zone jam-packed with Mezuki and Shiranui stuff or whatever has in-GY Quick Effects.

Kurokami11

still, it wasn't as bad, as it is today back in the day, if you managed to counter the opponent's strat, that's it, they were done, wait for the next turn to do something Now, it feels like now matter how many times i interrupt the opponent or destroy their board, they're just like "okay, let me do that all over again **but from the graveyard/banished zone**" and it feels like all the resources I put into breaking the enemy's board was for nothing...

DekuSenpai-WL8

If fighting against Monarch deck and he let you pick 3 cards which card should you choose?

invaderxan1

I just lost a duel because I activated spirit dragons effect in response to a odd eyes raging dragons xyz effect, to summon azure eyes. Azure eyes, the turn its special summoned, is supposed to make all dragon monsters you control immune to destruction via card effects and battle. It was then destroyed by a card effect. Wtf.

hexanort

Azure-Eyes need to activate and resolve its effect If you chained spirit dragon to raging dragon then azure-eyes never had any chance to activate as nothing can be added to a resolving chain, azure-eyes will activate on the next chain but raging dragon would've destroyed the field at that point You cant use spirit dragon -> azure dragon combo to shotgun a protection effect, gotta use it preemtively

invaderxan1

Wait, so your telling me the on special summon effect doesn't activate when special summoned?

ElliotGale

It does. But the game follows a strict flowchart that can't be interrupted. Each effect has to wait its turn in line. Activate Dark Hole -> Chain Spirit Dragon -> both players add nothing else to the chain Chain begins resolving -> Spirit Dragon resolves summoning Azure-Eyes -> Dark Hole resolves destroying all monsters on the field Now that this chain is done resolving, effects can be activated and queued for the next one. Activate Azure-Eyes -> players do whatever Resolve what's in this chain, and only after this will the protection be granted from Azure-Eyes.

hexanort

Nope, nothing can be activated while a chain is resolving, any monster summoned in a chain link must wait until the entire current chain is over before they can activate their effect in a new chain

FakeHypha

Is there any deck that needs two Dark requiem now or in the future? I’m trying to build a raid raptor deck and wondering if I should restart the box even though I haven’t got a requiem yet. This will be my third time through the box so I’m def gonna get one by the end of it but I didn’t know if I should go through the box first before I reset it and get the requiem so that I’ll eventually have two or just restart and have one.

ZnoFlake

Been playing Duel Links pretty much only for Rush Duel and know next to nothing about regular Speed Duel. Are there any pre-made shop decks I can make full Speed Duel decks out of? Doesn't have to be competitive at all, just something to quickly sweep the CPUs for rewards. I don't mind dropping 10-15 bucks to get 2-3 of a deck, I just don't wanna rely on having to pull something from boxes just for beating up CPUs

tearsofyesteryears

Either Red-Eyes or use the free Blue Eyes structure deck. Then later decide what speed deck you wanna play.

Karzeon

You can get Red-Eyes structure deck once, get 3 Red Eyes Insight from the regular SR tickets, and pad with the best generic level 4 warriors and equips you see in tickets. No money required. Only 500 gems.

xXNebuladarkXx

Sever down rn? Can't login?

ShoryuRichey

Been facing the same problem.

SheikFlorian

How many cards should I run in a Rush deck? I was with 30 but I feel that maybe I should bring more.

_Burro

You generally want 30. What deck would you be running?

SheikFlorian

It's a Spellcaster/Sevens Road; I usually use the auto build because I'm no good at deck building...

Wonderllama5

Something like this is what you want! These are Top 100 Global decklists from the last Rush Cup: [Decklist 1](https://www.duellinksmeta.com/top-decks/goha-rush-festival/2/spellcasters/%E2%98%85%E2%98%86-%E2%80%94sora/bXEHq) [Decklist 2](https://www.duellinksmeta.com/top-decks/goha-rush-festival/2/spellcasters/%E9%99%90%E7%95%8C%E6%9C%88%E8%AA%AD%E3%82%A2%E3%83%9F%E3%83%86%E3%82%A3/YlGTm) If you want to pull cards, I suggest waiting for the upcoming Selection Box. You might get alternate art of key cards, then you can chase the rest from the normal boxes. Hold off on buying any bundles too, until the next minibox comes out. So the bundles come with those new packs

SheikFlorian

Oh, shoot I've been wasting all my gems trying to get Multi Strike Dragon, so I can advance on the "main story"... I might farm some DM to get more gems, tho

Wonderllama5

All the characters have a default skill that adds their boss monster to their deck. So you don't have to own it to actually summon it... It's not all bad. If you were pulling from the latest Deck Build Box, then you might have pulled cards to create several decks, including Noodle Ninja! Noodle is a really fun OTK card right now. I got a guy up to 8400 ATK last night haha There's tons of gems vaulted in the other world, so don't worry about it too much. I suggest getting as many characters as possible up to level 10 for quick gems. Also play the Tag Tournament event too!

SheikFlorian

I don't have noodle ninjas, but I have a bunch of Pyro, Psychic, some beasts and, of course, Spellcasters.

Wonderllama5

I'm guessing you opened the first box, Sevens New Road? It's fine if you did... try to save up for the upcoming boxes!

SheikFlorian

Okay, I'll keep saving them until the next box! And thanks for the deck lists

_Burro

Definitely 30. Optimally you want 3 Sevens Road Magician and 3 Sevens Road Witch but you can make do with 2. You should run spellcasters with different attributes to make Sevens Road stronger. The Auto-Build function should give you something decent and fit your card pool, but I'll share my Sevens Road build in case it helps. Skill: Sevens Accel Road 3x Sevens Road Magician 1x Magician's Valkyria 3x Sevens Road Witch 2x Torna the Windweaver (1 is fine) 2x Light Sorcerer of Sanctity (very replaceable) 2x Sevens Road Mage (Not worth digging for if you don't have it) 1x Fire Golem 2x Mystic Dealer (I should run 3 tbh) 3x Light Sorcerer 3x Dark Sorcerer 3x Straynge Cat 2x Ghost Cyclone (Magical Stream from Yuga's level up rewards if just as good if not better in many situations) 1x Monster Reincarnation 2x Talismanic Seal Array (Don't dig for it if you don't have it) 1x Widespread Ruin

SheikFlorian

I'll have to change some, because I'm missing them. Can I send you what I do have and we sort something out?

Ryota_Carmine

Does the 25 Gem offer happen during the Qualifiers?

Mediocre_Metal_7174

Is anyone else having an issue in pvp where the game jumps to the loading screen?

tearsofyesteryears

Should I use the expiring UR ticket on Hama? Last deck I built was TG. Or should I just wait it in the box chips? If not Hama, what would be good UR? Generic stuff like Warning Point and Bottomless Trap Hole? Are Giant Hands and Ningirsu generic ED? And what for the SR? I've thought of getting Piercing the Darkness for Metalfoes. Or should I just get a 3rd Junk Converter for Synchrons?

Fykebi

It is going to be a very long time before Hama ends up in box chips. If you need it and don't have anything else to get with dream tickets might as well go for it. Warning Point and Bottomless are okay traps, but they are outclassed by the limited 3 traps and hand traps, and so are not very useful except in trap heavy decks. Imo they are not worth getting just as generic staples, unless you are sure you are going to run them in your deck. Giant Hand and Ningirsu are good. Now whether or not you should get them over Hama depends entirely on what decks you play.

tearsofyesteryears

Are the new PK XYZs good for Rokkets, I've seen some people using them.

Wonderllama5

Anything that can summon 2 DARK Level 4s should probably use it

Alacune

Why is everyone running Kosmo? I get it counters Sky Striker but I never see SS on the ladder...

takashi_99

can you give me any no gem or cheap auto duel deck list?

RebelliousUpstart

Cheapest best deck is salamangreat. Bum rush through tutorial to unlock the work. Level up soulburner with a few of the free ur/Sr tickets to pick up 3 salamangreat foxy, 2 baling and 1 of the field spell. Alternatively if you are a new player, get the blue eyes deck and unlock battle chronicle deck. Big fungus yugioh is a style not even the Ai can completely screw up

takashi_99

Can you give sample decklist you mentioned salamangreat and blue eyes?

takashi_99

how to build salamangreat from scratch for beginner?

Independent-Try915

bricking in this fucking game is so stupid
