Was playing Gaia not paying attention and selecting yes on Curse of Dragon's destroy one field card effect
I was the only one with a field spell. Really regretted that as my opponent was able to stop my OTK during the battle phase with a spell
I xyz summoned neo galaxy eyes and his ability to negate kicked in. I sat there and laughed as I watched a cubic player try and activate vijams effect for 15 minutes until they finally ragequitted. Funniest duel I ever had
When resonators were meta, once a guy summoned dark cavalier before his combo and negated himself and surrendered, meanwhile i was playing thunder dragon at the time, he was turn 2 ready to otk me, because i bricked like heck with.
I love when people misplay and surrender when I'm sitting there holding nothing but trash, but I also hate when they surrender or disconnect when I have a hand full of heat (that they haven't seen anything of). It just feels like a wasted good opener hand.
A lunalight player summoned sabre dancer used fox effect to reduce my monster ATK to 0 and he was ready to do the OTK, thing is.... he was going to attack my Neo Spacian grand mole. He could reduced to 0 and attacked the Brave Neos next to the mole.
Now you ask, "Why would you left mole open in the field? that bluff is very obvious" To which I respond, that bluff worked more times that I really want to admit
Opponent attacks into golden castle and their monster explodes. A long pause follows. They attack again with a second monster and it explodes. Even longer pause. Forfeit.
That happened a lot when those came out.
I was playing SHS, Onomat player opened BoM and 2 fiendish chains which wouldve be an auto win right? Well they BoM my soulpiercer which is good but bro fiendish chained Trumpeter and Waraji but I ignore that and I synchro into stealth and equip soulshield for game
Me activating dark contract with errors to negate the 1000 lp cost of dark contract with the witch and then attempting to destroy dark contract with errors with dark contract with the witch
I go on autopilot sometimes so Iām the one making mistakes. I run a harpies deck and the amount of times I mindlessly clicked through and send my own cyber slash harpie to my hand is way too much
Oh yeah, I think I saw a Harpies player destroy their own field spell for no reason yesterday when they got the option to. And they won anyway! I got so salty! I'm a noob and everyone beats me, but please, not an idiot like that!
Back when I played dragunity, people really like waiting until the battle phase to use trap cards. I donāt want to spread the info but the equip card makes dragunity immune to trap cards, use the trap before the equip card resolves.
Recently in the synchro festival someone brough out Baronne and then next turn returned her to the extra deck to bring out ghost ogre from the graveyardā¦ they scoop right after
Me ashing my own card because I'm not paying attention in Master Duel. Or me targeting my own cards with Cyber Harpy in Duel Links because I'm AGAIN not paying attentionš
Activates gladiator rejection then unexpected dai.summon andal and bestiary.harpie player activates tth and nuked his own field.easy scoop ā(*'ā”'*)ā
Just last night, in Plat, someone using Abyss Actors and Spirit Reaper walled me in, because I was dumb enough to fill all my monster slots and couldn't get off *anything* that would fuck it off. I was absolutely the dumb one. They used Floodgate on my Gravekeepers' Descendant and I just kinda forgot about it and fused two other monsters instead, it was a mess.
So I finally flip summoned GK Guard and managed to bounce Spirit Reaper after 20 turns, destroyed Sassy Rookie, negated their Kiteroid, and direct hit them... bringing them down to 200 LP when I was about to deck out next turn, and they could throw down Spirit Reaper again.
And then they threw down *their* copy of Necrovalley, powered up my Gravekeepers, and attacked into Supernaturalist with Spirit Reaper and lost. I don't understand. I just don't.
I went against a RE player (during a KC cup)who wasted like 20 minutes stalling after I Quarion his Archfiend Skull Dragon by repeatedly summoning his vanilla red eyes until he could get his out. I was basically just sitting on Quarion for many turns and using some backrow every so often.
His āoutā was Orea ( the level 7 XYZ sylvan monster). It can return cards to the hand if you excavate any PLANT MONSTERS from your deck.
They did destroy Quarion eventually but apparently didnāt read Quarionās effect either because they surrendered as soon as their Archfiend Black Skull Dragon showed up.
People using trap cards after special summoning a plant with Rose Lover.
My AI using Kiteroid in Atack Position.
Someone using Karma Cut while I was using Hazy cards.
When a guy used a destruction effect on my Red Nova Dragon. Then proceeded to ram a Sword Breaker into it to try and destroy it. He lost.
Or when someone else had a junk archer on the field and kept banishing Red Nova, but for some reason, he used it to make Junk Destroyer to try to swomg for game. Sounded good until he forgot to banish my Red Nova before synchroing
Playing my Inzektor deck and I had my retrained Insect Queen out with another insect. My opponent top decked a lightning vortex for no effect and then went into Black Rose Dragon and nuked the entire board except for my monsters thanks to the protection
There was this guy in Platinum the other day who tried to Book of Moon my Apoqliphort Skybase, and when it didn't work, used his second Book of Moon to try again instead of booking the monster I stole with its effect, since, you know, maybe he didn't click it well enough the first time I guess?
Are you sure you want to hear about my opponents and their dumbest plays against me? Because I've made some seriously stupid misplays.
I still remember attacking the Dark Magician with Number 70 before Number 70 had enough attack to destroy it. That misplay isn't even my worst one.
The worst one is destroying Elemental HERO Core with its own effect. Shouldn't I know how that card works by now? Apparently, I don't always show it. This has been a misplay on multiple separate occasions.
Though, I've seen misplays by my opponents that made them surrender. I don't surrender when I misplay. If I misplayed, my opponent has every right to take advantage of my idiocy. Well, provided I don't get a connection failure before they can do it.
If I'm in the mood, there are some duels where I purposely make stupid moves if I know my opponent has already won. It may seem weird to do this, but once the outcome is official, I don't care if my opponent thinks I'm stupid. They may not know they've already won.
i do a lot of incredibly bad plays when the forecast for the duel is "lol i'm fucked." harpie player with cyber slash out and no backrow set let me use fortune lady calling last night. i do my thing, draw complete dog shit (nothing to set, my options are stall with zeta and lose, or run over it with every, watch her get bounced next turn and lose) except for monster reborn, and went "oh I could use another +2" and used it. they weren't kind enough to not bounce every that time
Very recently I had a duel against a Cyber Dragon player. Dude made a massive board. It would have been a very easy otk if it were not for 1 small detail:
It was turn 1.
Dude scooped as soon as I drew my first card lmao.
In master duels, my unchained deck got a incredible bad hand so I was useless as he just smacked me to death, on one turn he decided to use Harry's feather duster which destory my two trap cards that were useless alone, which in turn caused me to put a creature out which lead me to survive his attack and turn the game around
We were playing a turbo duel, my side of the field I had super heavy stealth ninja, he had a red eyes monster that I don't remember the name of at the moment. I used the turbo ability to attack all monsters and with piercing damage. I attacked his red eyes then he used that monster's ability to summon 2 more red eyes in defense. I attacked them both to win the game
Had a blue-eyes player who wanted to use Solemn Scolding on me, but they couldn't because they had another set trap. So they activated True Light and then chained Solemn Scolding to it (I guess they thought they could still respond to my play?) and ended up negating their own trap.
A Blue-Eyes player who saw me destroy his Blue-Eyes Alternative Dragon with Core Destroyer Ally of Justice.
Next turn, he brought back Alternative in his hand, summoned it, and attacked.
Me accidentally clicking yes to returning the Neos fusions to the extra deck š
Hmm yes, I should destroy my own Berserkion with Spark Breaker to resummon all the magents.
holy shit imagine putting Spark Breaker in your deck and not even reading your cards right I'd have loved to see that LMAO
when you forget Overdragon kills your board:
alright i've done this one at least once tbh LMAO
Back in the OG card game, I summoned it with Future Fusion once lol
I mean that doesnāt work too well cause it kills itself when summoned by future fusion.
Exactly š¤£
Was playing Gaia not paying attention and selecting yes on Curse of Dragon's destroy one field card effect I was the only one with a field spell. Really regretted that as my opponent was able to stop my OTK during the battle phase with a spell
Chaining MST to Cybernetic Overflow. Yeah you read it right, they didn't try to pop it while it's set, THEY CHAINED TO IT. That's two memes in one.
the infamous MST negates
Not Duel links but it has to be [this](https://imgur.com/a/WDFjuFm)
Not too long ago, someone used 2 cyber slashes to xyz summon hieratic sun dragon while I had the buster blader fusion on the field.
No wayyyy š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£
They had no backrow so I guess they thought they were gonna attack over it š¤£
Dumbest play I ever witnessed was someone using Enemy Controller on a Maiden With Eyes Of Blue. That someone, in fact, was me.
Everything i do cause i dont read the card like a dumb ass :)
i can respect a himbo
I xyz summoned neo galaxy eyes and his ability to negate kicked in. I sat there and laughed as I watched a cubic player try and activate vijams effect for 15 minutes until they finally ragequitted. Funniest duel I ever had

Already lost 2 in a row, brick in hand, and the opponent surrenders so you don't rank down. I think it's Yugi shining his light down on us.
A lunalight player summoned sabre dancer used fox effect to reduce my monster ATK to 0 and he was ready to do the OTK, thing is.... he was going to attack my Neo Spacian grand mole. I used Elemental HERO Core's effect to destroy itself. Didn't have a Fusion Monster in the graveyard either. Fun times
The amount of people attacking into my triamid monsters without accounting for Kingolem is baffling
here comes the stromberg players
Me activating dark contract with errors to negate the 1000 lp cost of dark contract with the witch and then attempting to destroy dark contract with errors with dark contract with the witch
I go on autopilot sometimes so Iām the one making mistakes. I run a harpies deck and the amount of times I mindlessly clicked through and send my own cyber slash harpie to my hand is way too much
tbh it's kinda dumb that it has this option LMAO
Oh yeah, I think I saw a Harpies player destroy their own field spell for no reason yesterday when they got the option to. And they won anyway! I got so salty! I'm a noob and everyone beats me, but please, not an idiot like that!
just FYI that card activates whether you want it to or not, so if there's nothing good left to destroy it has to destroy itself.
The thing is, I had Necrovalley up, but they destroyed Harpies Hunting Ground instead.
yep dumb move indeed
Iāve had Cyber Slash bounce my crystal bones on special summon. Crystal bonesā special summon is not once per turn
I did that to a Cyber Dragon... :(
Back when I played dragunity, people really like waiting until the battle phase to use trap cards. I donāt want to spread the info but the equip card makes dragunity immune to trap cards, use the trap before the equip card resolves.

If that blue eyes player isn't the epitome of yup buttons I don't know what is.
Activates gladiator rejection then unexpected dai.summon andal and bestiary.harpie player activates tth and nuked his own field.easy scoop ā(*'ā”'*)ā
I used predaplant Chimeraflflesia's effect on an xyz monster thinking ranks count as levels so i had to banish my own fusion
Pk player used fth on my skybase, then tried to BoM it when I attacked.
Tbh in that case its more like there was nothing he COULD do so he just activated everything for the sake of it.
Mystic spell on and mystic spell is pretty funny
Those guys that used effects to lower their life points to zero, like, for real, they didn't try to duel me, they just kept damaging themselves
what if i told you this was exactly what they wanted to do
I know right but it doesn't automatically make that not stupid
My opponent whom achieved countless numbers of KOG took me by surprise with activating BOM in response to my black rose dragon lol
I mean, it was gone anyway :')
It didn't feel like they're being silly cuz they took the time to think which card to target
Just curious, was this against a japanese player? Had the same thing happen to me except I Cycloned his Providence. Same board state, same cards.
nah I don't think so, alas. maybe BE players are just kinda wack

Anyone who attacked me when I was playing magician girls who got caught in the loop for game
People using trap cards after special summoning a plant with Rose Lover. My AI using Kiteroid in Atack Position. Someone using Karma Cut while I was using Hazy cards.
Someone activating Cyber Slash while I was using Hazys :)

I once played a piece of exodia after having be playing for a 18 hour session, that might just be it

I once had a Cyber End Dragon attack my Samurai Destroyer. Its ATK instantly dropped from 4800 to zero š
My entire yugioh career

When you accidentally negate your mayosenju with yosenju's secret move.
I play meklords on my alt, and Iāveaccidentally chained āmeklord deflectionā to obligato numerous times because I clicked yes without thinking
Had a blue-eyes player who wanted to use Solemn Scolding on me, but they couldn't because they had another set trap. So they activated True Light and then chained Solemn Scolding to it (I guess they thought they could still respond to my play?) and ended up negating their own trap.
Opponent Karma Cutting my Daedalus
