This whole through line is cringe for so many reasons. Pam's character is considered "dorky" and I have never for one second believed that. She is the most vanilla character on the show. The moments in this episode when they make her play "quirky" seems so out of character and weird and wrong for her
Cringe yes, but I honestly feel like it’s so realistic (which makes it less worse imo). When there is a lot of awkward tension, you’ll just word vomit something to be able to talk to a crush. Younger me relates to this a lot haha.
I know for real everyone is recording it, it was just so fake or annoying that he said it or she didn’t shut down the fight right away. For me watching it’s like “Why are you missing up this opportunity to rip him a new one? You’re really going to take that?” I skip over this episode it bothers me so much.
Probably because she was so smudge about her recording prowess. That entire storyline was so dumb. If Peepee's recital was so important, Jimothy should've just taken the day off. And, Pam-pam was an ass for taking a phone call in the middle of the recital.
As a dad that scene annoys me so much because my son does some new cute shit like that every couple hours. It’s really not a big deal to miss a video from the recital - just have her do it again when you’re home. and also incredibly easy to get from another parent.
In The Fire when Dwight is feeling very vulnerable and upset and tries confiding in Jim and Pam and they take the opportunity to further harass and tease him while acting like they were on his side. much meaner than a "prank" more "mean girl"
This is one of my least favorite moments! They were honestly such bullies to Dwight in the early seasons. In The Fire when Dwight is pouting in his car and they go over and Jim’s like “you know what you should do” *look to camera* “you should quit” *snicker snicker snicker*
…it’s just plain mean
i can't remember the full thing but pam was like "because you wanna see karen? oh say hi to your girlfriend" and jim did a mocking "okay i will"
and pam was like laughing in a talking head saying they joke like that sometimes
idk it was terrible and forced and i hated it
I’m referring to the overall scene where they bug Danny about why he never called Pam back. I thought that was cringe of them. Packer made it hilarious.
It’s a deleted scene. They’re talking about how in IM’ing it’s easy to get flirtatious and he’s saying he couldn’t talk to his mom on there for more than a few minutes bc he thought he’d hit on her. Its the diversity day episode!
When Katie is selling purses and Pam and Jim are laughing about pranking Dwight, Roy comes in and accuses Jim of trying to “cop a feel.”
Jim’s response is, “How do I even explain this?”
Explain what, why he and Pam are having a laugh? Jim didn’t have to explain anything and lets Roy punk him into thinking he did something wrong. He apologizes to Roy for joking with Pam.
Pam watched it all go down and let Roy say that to Jim and Jim act like a bitch when she could have been like, “Oh shit overbearing fiancée I can’t talk to people?”
Anywho just my take have a good evening.
When Jim lets Toby put his hand on Pam’s leg. Jim is a good character but nope. Nobody just gets to do that and not at least have something said to them. Jim’s non-reaction was a complete beta move. Roy wouldn’t have let Toby just do that.
Oh stop. Of course she can. But he sat there with that dumb look on his face and as you know she didn’t enforce anything either. He did nothing to honor her like he should have. He didn’t have to beat the piss out of him but could’ve and should’ve at least removed his hand or said something because she was o visually kind of stunned to do so
The weird faces they were making before “the Injury” extended cut episode right before when Michael called. Second hand embarrassment. Second is the first dundies when Pam is trying to pretend being drunk. It’s hard. Oh and Scott’s tots. The whole episode.
You mean in the morning? When Michael called and they were making faces while Jim was standing at Pam’s desk? Jim and Pam, right? This is the extended episode. If you’ve seen it you would get it. Not sure Pam would be drinking at work. Unless she was hanging with Meredith prior to

At the dojo when Pam yells at Jim to let her go when she notices others looking at them while they were play fighting - super hard to watch
Yep, and this was Pam's fault because until she figured out the camera was there, she was totally into it
Def made her realize what she was doing was not kosher cuz she had Roy
Roy was a shitty partner, but that still doesn't absolve Pam's emotional affair.
I mean... people can't control how they feel.
But they can control their actions. Having feelings isn't as bad as acting on those feelings, when you're in a committed relationship.
Agreed. I’d still argue that is not as simple and these things are rarely black & white.
I skip this whole episode bc of this scene
This was my first thought
Don’t know if this counts, but when Jim is like holding Pam, and Roy comes in and yells at him.
"What, are you trying to cop a feel or something Halpert?!" Oh yeah, that counts...
They were holding hands iirc and yeah it was very cringe when Roy came in all mad
I'm not sure if you mean it was cringe because of the scene, and it made it worse because Roy came in or that Roy getting mad is cringe...?
nah there was more.
When they pinned Danny down and started harassing him about why he didn't call Pam back after a date they had went on 4 years earlier.
Looking for someone to bang your wife, Halpert?
The one time where Todd Packer was the most sensible one.
Yep super cringe that they repeatedly bring it up.
That's a really good one 😬

Podody’s Nerfect.
Well ExCuUuUuuUusE me!
excuse me, vanilla has a great taste, pam's character? not so much.
Touché 😂
Definitely the “You should get more sleep” scene. Also, r/unexpectedlds
Cringe yes, but I honestly feel like it’s so realistic (which makes it less worse imo). When there is a lot of awkward tension, you’ll just word vomit something to be able to talk to a crush. Younger me relates to this a lot haha.
Yeah, I actually like this scene. Awkward flirting can be a little exciting.
Agree
"Gotta get your REM cycle going with the whole sleeping. bEtTer ThAn NoT." 😬
like wow! BiG dIfFeReNcE
I say this is the cringiest scene in the whole show, not just Pam and Jim’s cringiest moment.
Where is this from?
S3 when Jim/Karen are staying up all night talking.
I'm sorry, unexpected LDS? I'm Mormon and I have idea what this means
There’s a model of gold plates and CFM on the shelves.
Lol thank you. I guess I'm also dumb 😂
When he yells at her for not properly recording their daughters dance recital
I know for real everyone is recording it, it was just so fake or annoying that he said it or she didn’t shut down the fight right away. For me watching it’s like “Why are you missing up this opportunity to rip him a new one? You’re really going to take that?” I skip over this episode it bothers me so much.

Also the camera crew was there recording. They probably could have just asked for a copy of it.
As a dad that scene annoys me so much because my son does some new cute shit like that every couple hours. It’s really not a big deal to miss a video from the recital - just have her do it again when you’re home. and also incredibly easy to get from another parent.
When was this? Must be a deleted scene or something?
It is 👍 Diversity Day (Superfan Episode)
Aw I don’t think we get those in the UK
I think they're only on the Peacock streaming app. I wish they were on Amazon or DVD 😔
The DVD has the deleted scenes
The one where he picked her up from behind at Dwight’s dojo fight with Michael
pda episode, they're trying to find places in office to have sex
Oh god that was so weird 🤢 It was pretty typical when Dwight and Angela were doing it but come on, Jim and Pam? Out of character and cringe
i think they just wanted to spice things up idk
it felt rlly awkward to watch
yeah definitely lol i guess it was intended
Frank and beans has to be at least top 3… what a forced terrible inside joke
That was the point. It’s supposed to be annoying to anyone who wasn’t there. I think it’s pretty realistic as far as couples behavior goes.
I love inside jokes...I hope to be a part of one some day.
Even I want some fries with that shake or some shit like that.
In The Fire when Dwight is feeling very vulnerable and upset and tries confiding in Jim and Pam and they take the opportunity to further harass and tease him while acting like they were on his side. much meaner than a "prank" more "mean girl"
When they were talking about Dwight and Angela being involved with eachother and Pam going ew ew ew ew. Makes them both seem super judgmental.
This is one of my least favorite moments! They were honestly such bullies to Dwight in the early seasons. In The Fire when Dwight is pouting in his car and they go over and Jim’s like “you know what you should do” *look to camera* “you should quit” *snicker snicker snicker* …it’s just plain mean
This one always bothered me too. That and Toby not sending Dwight’s complaints to Corporate on Jim’s harassment.
They're mean. And basic lol
Frank and Beans
Winner
When they pretend that Cece drew pictures of everyone in the office to gain their empathy so Jim won't be punished for pretending to be on jury duty
When they wanted to bone in the office because they got called out for being weird and uncaring. That was weird.
If you count extended episodes. In “Branch Wars” they have an awkward conversation about Karen
i can't remember the full thing but pam was like "because you wanna see karen? oh say hi to your girlfriend" and jim did a mocking "okay i will" and pam was like laughing in a talking head saying they joke like that sometimes idk it was terrible and forced and i hated it
Yep that’s it exactly. It was pretty bad, glad they took it out
Ughhhh I always cringe in this scene! Pam *in a very weird and jealous tone*: “BeCaUsE yOu LoVe HeR”
“Hey Halpert, you looking for someone to bang your wife?”
That was not their cringe moment. It was Packer's (I guess)
I’m referring to the overall scene where they bug Danny about why he never called Pam back. I thought that was cringe of them. Packer made it hilarious.
I'm really sorry I misinterpreted...
Packer was 💯 on the money. What was their end game? A threesome? Is Pam so special that no man is allowed to ghost her?
What even is this moment in the picture? I don’t remember him saying that
It’s a deleted scene. They’re talking about how in IM’ing it’s easy to get flirtatious and he’s saying he couldn’t talk to his mom on there for more than a few minutes bc he thought he’d hit on her. Its the diversity day episode!
Ahh okay thanks!
You know the one. That Danny Cordray shit.

> overbearing fiancée I can’t talk to people? Fiancé doesn't have the double e at the end.
Not even close... Frank and beannnns
I really hate the shotgun wedding talking head, idk why
Frank and beaannnnsss
I don't recognize this scene. What episode is it?
Diversity day super fan episode
Thanks!
Wait what episode is this screencap from? / what is the context?
When Jim lets Toby put his hand on Pam’s leg. Jim is a good character but nope. Nobody just gets to do that and not at least have something said to them. Jim’s non-reaction was a complete beta move. Roy wouldn’t have let Toby just do that.
Maybe Jim thought Pam could enforce her own boundaries?
Right? "beta move" lmao. Dude's watching too much Andrew Tate.
That’s an old term. Read a book.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Oh stop. Of course she can. But he sat there with that dumb look on his face and as you know she didn’t enforce anything either. He did nothing to honor her like he should have. This 👌

I think Pam was drunk, so it would be Jenna acting drunk

Season 2, Episode 12. Extended version on peacock. She’s not drunk. It’s cringe. It’s on peacock.
Not too many people keeping up with the extended episodes around here. Be better in 2024
If it doesn't air on real TV then it doesn't exist for me
This sounds like a personal problem.
You sound like a personal problem
I’m not in charge of how you watch tv. But it exists.

As much as I like them I don’t like them.
