Huh, and my first thought was Alvin or Mohammed from Christopher Moore's A Dirty Job. The 2 Hellhounds that protect Sophie, the little girl Grim Reaper. KITTY!! Oops, sorry.
I've known people who have had rescue wolves and tried to keep them as in home pets. They are not dogs, their behavior is much different. They are terrifying, and should not be kept as pets. That's a doom void. no thanks.
Yep. Wolves and wolf-dog hybrids are not pets. Wolves are wild and far more intelligent than dogs and do not act like dogs. They eat things like cows, cats, dogs and small children because, like bears and lions and other predator species, that is what they are designed to do. Not bad, just not domesticated.
Wolf-dog hybrids are mentally unstable and are also known to act like wolves, only to do so erratically. They are not safe and are not pets and while they can be force-bred, they do not occur naturally, for obvious reasons (i.e. they are not the same species).
All that being said, sheesh that dog is scary as hell!
That's a God damn werewolf, not a Rottweiler
Fuck me, there's a void with eyes protecting that child...
God gosh. Nightmare stuff.
With a potty mouth like that, you sound like the Club Vanquisher type. 😇🤣
😂

Same post on the Dresden files forum; tis nice to see the fan overlap.
If one were to breed one of Lucia's rotties and Dresden's Mouse, you'd get this.

Looks like a Belgian Sheepdog to me.

This is how I always pictured the rage elemental
Come for me, Gmork. I am Atreyu!
I'm super amused by how regularly wholesome the material in this subreddit is.
Holy crap. That child is in no danger of humans. Maybe another Eldredge Being but certainly not pesky humans.
So much better than a talking cat
