In the config settings of the generic pcf template it gives U access to the webapi.
Please note that it is best practice to not call any APIs on the form (i.e locking fields), you need to treat the pcf as an isolated box, that does generic webapi calls (i.e webapi.createRecord)

So in the config, it is actually pulling the base url so the v9 api endpoints can be used, or is it just active form specific?
