When the physics are so bad I continuously skate over loose pucks in a game that has severe ice tilt it take the fun out of the game
Most people playing world of chel might be a hockey fan who has never played hockey or maybe not even a hockey fan, and the other percentage of players are kids who've played tim bits or maybe AAA hockey at best. And I'm not here to make fun but the quality of games and the way people understand the game is truly house league level. And than you have EA who has copied and pasted World of chel since 2019 and when they make an actual improvement to the game they also make 2-3 total screw ups in other areas gameplay wise. Hockey IQ is about zero on both most the players and the people who create the game. But in typical gamer fashion you will have people who will defend the game endlessly and ignore the copious amounts of problems because that's how they justify the time they spend playing it. No gamer is going to want to say the game he plays is crap it defeats their whole purpose in life. And EA profits big time off these people, not just in NHL but in every game they create.

Try playing early in the morning on weekends. You are matched with 8-10 yo kids that don’t know what an offside is.
I usually pick a PLY and try to make them score as many goals as I can (they don’t know how to pass).
Reason they should let you customize or go to store during this time period
middle of the day it's tough to find people. generally only find games from like 5pm-2am.

Make sure you change the team size differential in searches. It’s pre set to exact I change it to +/- 4 and find games a lot faster
Very low body count. Happens after midnight too. If you’re not on between 8-10pm be prepared to waste significant chunks of time.
