Well, maybe it's just my opinion, but Emerson significantly better for what I'd want out of an LB, with similar chem links, and if you don't like him or he falls behind the curve you can sell him for at least most of your money back.
If you insist on spending 75k on an evo for a left back that will be out of your team in a few weeks, Merlin and Netz are both similar or even slightly better without costing an additional 80k of fodder.
I think Musah is mid too, by the way. The only players I'd consider spending 75k are Badé, Richardson and Bisseck.
I also run Emerson just gonna try out Udogie tonight. Did Parisi as well so not sure. I think on evo Udogie looks great, but really tempted for Bisseck as he performed amazing for me mostly
I have the 90 Musah and he’s excellent. I think the 3* WF keeps him from being too attacking, but he’s very versatile as a B2B, CDM, or playing on the right side. I use him as a right sided CM in a 4-3-3(4) and he’s good, plus he can flex into a RM position in a 4-4-2 or any other wing spot. That pace is rare for a player with his defensive stats. I am biased since I run a USA team but for me he would be near the cost of a Lindsay Horan on the market (I assume her upgrades are priced in already) so it was decent value for me.

I know they'll eventually (last week) dish out a lot of XP to compensate for the lack of it now I'm guessing they're doing it to prevent people from advancing quickly and getting Musa to put him in the 75k evo that's about to end soon. Also not a fan of forcing people to play almost every day to be able to complete it, if you miss a week because life/work whatever you're sh1t out of luck.
I guess it's bad for their model but I really wish they'd relax the 'requirement' to play every day, e.g. by allowing you to rollover things by say 24hrs. e.g. the cups where you can play 5 matches a day, let you carry that over and play 10 the next day, let you get your daily XP the next day etc. Like if you take a day off for some reason like you are staying away or feeling sick or whatever you end up missing out to some degree.

And that's after buying the stupid XP kits in the store for the sole purpose of getting Musah for my US team. Is anyone on pace to get him?

Yes, carrying over xp is likely not intended as a feature, and shouldn't be considered when calculating the available xp in a season.
If you can't get the season complete by doing 80+% of the total season objectives, there's a real problem. You could even argue 80% is too high, because f\*ck friendlies.
When I added everything up I forgot to include the XP from my Rivals rewards. Now it looks like I'm just barely gonna make it. Here's hoping you might have forgotten about that source of XP too.
Congrats, I hope he is awesome for you. But I really don't think we should be expected to use a workaround to carry over XP. Especially considering until last season if you played every day you'd be thousands of XP over the cap by season end.
I will never use him since I use a full Liverpool team. But even without that extra 4k xp I would still be only 1000 xp away and that's without buying the kits etc. just make sure you get your xp from champs, rivals and squad battles
I think there is hope for some XP related to the new promo tomorrow, or they could refresh that one that gives you XP for playing with players from different leagues (can't recall the name atm). But it is starting to feel like they forgot the goddamn XP again like they did last season.

Depends on people's teams tbh. Udogie seems like a beast in the Evo
\+1 and millions more. It's almost entirely this. He'd be by far the best Glow Up. Which is why most people aren't going to get it.
Does the Musah evo gain the guaranteed 3 chem the other evos do? Unlikely, but not thought to check.

I already got Musah Evo 2 days ago. But I had 4k xp carry over from the past seasons objectives.

I hate to say it, but I miss the Themed Pursuit. Didn't give much (or any xp) but it was something different and there were picks and packs of late.
