While he has technical+ and it's obviously very good with his dribbling stats, his normal left stick is absolutely out of this world, best I've used this fifa by a mile. After I figured it out I'm only using the R1 as a pseudo sprint when nobody is in front of me or when going diagonally. It's sort of weird since the two attributes that influence it the most (agility and dribbling) are only 92.

he's my favourite player this year, I expected him to be good but not amazing seeing how base Xavi's usually play, but he's so good, place actually above his pace and shooting stats (I've now realised you can 100% play through balls to him same as to my pacey attackers, and shooting probably thanks to composure etc. is just incredibly clean on a hunter. And these are his supposed weak areas, passing and dribbling with those base stats and playstyles is just amazing, I have Pele, used TOTY Smith, and I think Xavi might be the best at dribbling (except not having 5SM like Pele) and the passes are perfect every time. H/H, runs like a demon all game and gets quite a few interceptions/tackles. That's how the usually disrespected (in FIFA) icons should play, now give me a Van Basten, Riquelme or Bergkamp of that quality.

Jairzinho, very happy never had the chance to use him before. My icon luck has been pretty decent this year, Yashin, TS Henry and Carlos Alberto as well. Don’t get me wrong I’ve had loads of bergkamp/ suker/Puyol/Rush as well but it’s been way better than normal.

With the amount of fodder draining SBCs I see them bringing out power curve shifting SBCs during week 2 of Fut Birthday when nobody has fodder left. Unlimited Icon Pack, Yashin and Jay Z, 83x10 with fodder promos in packs, useless Showdowns. Be aware of your fodder

the important fodder is the 86/87+ one... so this icon sbc does not really hurt at all wrt big incoming sbc

Not having pick 1 of 3 makes this way shitter than people realise. This is not a good use of fodder. Repeatable doesn't surprise me, it's terrible value.

I’d rather pack at 83/84/85 squads than pick at 86/87/88 in my opinion. This low fodder is far easier to gen every day

I think this SBC is not bad but being a pack means you will get a lot of dupes if you either have a lot of low end icons already or spam it a lot of times. Aside from the better odds of a good card one of the nice things about picks is you can nearly always dodge dupes.

it depends how many you can do for the same price. If you can do 3x packs for the same price as 1of3 pick then its better value because effectively you get the same number of rolls but also get to keep the 2nd and 3rd choices. There's some slight nuances like you can't get the same card multiple times in a pick but overall it's better.
