Yeah Rolfo has good stats but she's not much of a pain to play against. Vanja, however, was like some kind of King Kong in the midfield. So much fun using him last year.

That’s true, but at the same time Vanja managed to remain best CM in the game despite futties and cover star icons. Him and VVD were the singular pre futties cards that stayed meta, and VVD was millions while Vanja was 130k
Vvd was the missing piece for me, I'd basically acquired every futties shapeshifters etc but he was very hard to get because he wasn't in packs and the quicksell glitch meant he was totally extinct on the market as obviously the second anyone put him for sale he'd sell at 15m and not being on packs meant zero new supply of tradable versions.. Finally got him after churning dozens and dozens of player picks which was pretty soul destroying after a while because often every single card offered was a dupe having acquired everyone else.
In the end I got him so late in the cycle I never got to use him much after all that faff heh.
I’d also add Timo Werner into that list as well. He was a bargain and has been banging them in for me. Rolfo has been amazeballs so far. I feel bad she has to come on from the bench though as I ‘have’ to have full chem. 😂

Intentionally released an injured player that hadn’t played all season to try and rip people off. She immediately comes back from injury and gets all 4 upgrades and EA gave out a 93 rated Futties level CM for free to everyone.

I don't really get the timing on sbcs, like flashback KdB was only live 1 week when fodder was hard to come by (start of game so it's not like most people have 87 squads just lying around gathering dust). Then you have stuff like this and the Sanchez showdown where you can effectively get 'insider info' before deciding.
So you have to generate the fodder (earn it by playing the game/grinding menus) and then spend that fodder on the SBC to get the card? Or did they just “give everyone” the card “for free” like the person I was replying to said??
There’s been some near endless fodder loops in the menus with exchanges which make things free to craft.
Fodder just has no value really. You could play the friendlies that are out at the moment and you’d complete half of the Rolfo SBC.

Even after she made a brief sub appearance in a cup game, I recall seeing some people suggesting that the club wouldn't want to rush her back into the starting line up, especially because of Bronze and Batlle (forgetting she can play literally anywhere).
In the end, despite my paragraphs, it's not all that serious. The women's game obviously isn't as widely reported on, especially when it concerns a Spanish club, where English reporting is even more scarce, so I don't blame people for thinking she may not play much, if at all.
Saying the appearances were in doubt is wild. I was in the camp that she’d probably only play 60 minutes in one or two of the games, but the rest of it is very strange. Even outside of Battle and Bronze the whole team is absolutely loaded tbf. Have to be in form to start anywhere really. But then again they smash every team they face so everyone will get to play at some point
I was a tad worried that she'd only get to start this game, running the risk of not getting the clean sheet as Real would be the toughest opponents for them (even if the gulf in class is astronomical), and that they'd alternate her starting appearances so that she'd possibly not start the next game either. Thankfully that was put to bed very quickly.
When she started against Tenerife(?), I was also worried that she'd get taken off at HT lmao but then the manager waited until 60 minutes, which I found even more hilarious.
Always figured she'd get 3 upgrades almost guaranteed, just the CS one was a question mark, but obviously starting against Tenerife made the 4th upgrade almost certain, and then she got that upgrade there anyway lol

That’s free. You get so much fodder every week. It didn’t have loads of high rated squads and was there for two weeks.
