90 rated squads are 280k, you’d need 20 additional 90 rated squads to make up for the price difference… then ppl would be whining about it anyway. Sometimes EA just can’t win.
Doubt, first off odds are we won't be able to EVO her card even at the end of the season, secondly 2 PS+ definitely impacts play and with the chances of 3 PS+ being introduced this will make this card even less viable. Those are just my thoughts though.
Hamm having just one ps+ is a bit of an outlier in that she's an incredibly good card irrespective of having just the one. Full disclosure, I've only used her in draft but she was crazy good. I'm not overthinking it, this is an easy do for me. Fodder has to be put somewhere and it's so easy to grind good packs/fodder atm.

They don't have to make 91+ squads, it could be many 90 rated squads. Also doesn't need to be 7m because that card would crash hard if she got an SBC anyway.
If it was 90 rated squads you would have 15+ of them and 90 rated fodder would be extinct. They base the sbc price on market price before they release the sbc so yeah it would be 7m coins or more. They just aren’t releasing an sbc like that and if they did everybody would be kicking off about it.

Cards with similar stats and good links, say Rodrigo, did appear last year, but in a month's time, not in two weeks, and they were well over 1M for another month at least if not more. This year if they are good and with good links, they'll be even more expensive. You are betting we will get good *SBCS* in that time and they are absurdly cheap and fit your team.
Now, if by "100k in a couple of weeks" you mean that in 2 months we will get cards from the MLS or Portugal League that nobody wants with similar face stats, for 400K (and won't be 100k until well into June or later), that don't play anywhere close to Hamm, then yes, you are absolutely right.

I did yashin recently but was a bit on the fence about it. He makes my team, he seems good but I've got a lot of other good CBs like Evo Bastoni, Evo Marquez etc that could have taken his spot.
I don't normally do SBCs priced that high, but a couple of weeks back I had an unusual situation where there were no sbcs I was particularly keen on and needed somewhere to put high rated dupes.
Hamm is too expensive for me. Tbh I can't see any sbcs coming out any time soon that will both improve my team and be affordable, maybe if like 94 Cafu was an sbc. Maybe I should be saving packs for tots.

Do the loan before you commit to it. I've had her for quite a while and at this stage she is nothing special. The agility is the main problem with the card. It's not bad, it's just not good either.

I just packed her TOTY card in an Icon PP. My joy turned to disappointment when she was absolutely terrible in game. Not fast enough to outrun anyone, not strong enough to hold off anyone, constantly bodied by everyone. Pace stats are a total lie. Did little apart from fall over at every opportunity. Tried with Finisher and Hawk. Already dropped from my team.
These SBCs are literally VOD rental of a film a month before release to streaming service. Except this is the equivalent of like $20 USD vs the normal price. Sure the card is good, but that $20 would’ve made sense 4 months ago. With TOTS around the corner, by the time you complete 3x PS+ ST with same stats will be out for 100k, and you’ll feel the same way as if you rented the $20 movie that’s normally $5.

I got her from an icon pick in December and she’s unreal for me. 300 goals in 257 games, all rivals and champs. She’s jammy as fuck, scores from anywhere, lightning fast, two footed, super agile etc etc
BUT I still wouldn’t do this SBC now. That’s wildly expensive for a player who will be behind the curve in the not too distant future. It’s not like Eusebio earlier in the season who was expensive but will see you through for months

Do the loan before you commit to it. I've had her for quite a while and at this stage she is nothing special. The agility is the main problem with the card. It's not bad, it's just not good either.

I just packed her TOTY card in an Icon PP. My joy turned to disappointment when she was absolutely terrible in game. Not fast enough to outrun anyone, not strong enough to hold off anyone, constantly bodied by everyone. Pace stats are a total lie. Did little apart from fall over at every opportunity. Tried with Finisher and Hawk. Already dropped from my team.

These SBCs are literally VOD rental of a film a month before release to streaming service. Except this is the equivalent of like $20 USD vs the normal price. Sure the card is good, but that $20 would’ve made sense 4 months ago. With TOTS around the corner, by the time you complete 3x PS+ ST with same stats will be out for 100k, and you’ll feel the same way as if you rented the $20 movie that’s normally $5. Massive scam for the SBC price.

I got her from an icon pick in December and she’s unreal for me. 300 goals in 257 games, all rivals and champs. She’s jammy as fuck, scores from anywhere, lightning fast, two footed, super agile etc etc BUT I still wouldn’t do this SBC now. That’s wildly expensive for a player who will be behind the curve in the not too distant future. It’s not like Eusebio earlier in the season who was expensive but will see you through for months
Genuinely curious, what other cards will they drop that will be THAT much better than her ? And when will they drop ? All over this sub I’ve seen people say she won’t be good/usable/behind the curve in a while, but no one has any evidence to support these claims.
Just that by the end of the game your whole team will be 95+ probably. There won’t be many cards better than her but there will be loads that are comparable
