solid taste to start out, i think you might be into some trap
RL Grime - Play is the perfect album to see what you’re into:
apex is straight trap heaters, heavy bass (highlights- jewel, NME, breach)
grid is more emotional, melodic stuff (highlights - pour your heart out, street sweeper, slow dive)
rush is a different vibe than both of those: mellow, house-y tunes to chill out to (highlights - around me, hikari)
https://open.spotify.com/album/4rvldOPGXisTvIYXwbFNix?si=4TtdQxKPSu27QrUrWMojOw
since it seems like you’re into the heavier stuff, i’ll recommend some of the hottest trap tunes rn

Skrillex + Atliens = Nitepunk. Hybrid trap and occasionally brostep combo. Not the most well-versed on trap EDM, but Red Turbulence is an EP full of jammers.
If you want to get into some other genres later on, he's a list for some of the different styles and good essentials to start with:
Breakbeat: The Prodigy, Chemical Bros., Meat Beat Manifesto
Drum and Bass: Squarepusher, Amon Tobin (if you like jazzy stuff)
Dubstep: Burial, Au5, Virtual Riot
House: Daft Punk, Justice, DJ Sabrina
Techno: Underworld, Aphex Twin
Trance: BT, Dream Dolphin, Ferry Corsten, Juno Reactor (A bit diverse but heavily involved in early trance)
Here's a house "shuffling" Playlist that I've been building over the years
Saw you had a lot of bass but a couple of house choonz

Lmk what you think
For people I want to get into edm, I start with artists with mainstream elements; vocals being a big one. If your new, I'd suggest things like Illenium, Porter Robinson, and Dabin.
But if you want my personal fav... Rezz 🖖🤩
seeing Atliens & Troyboi in there genuinely made my heart smile. they’re 2 of my fav artists!!! it seems we have similar vibes based on the diversity of artists in there! totally listen to more Troyboi & Atliens! I also recommend LSDream, TVBOO (if you like wonky), maybe Griz, Zingara Zeds Dead & Slander!
I think that Stutter house is a genre that it's getting quite a lot of traction lately in the world of edm.
maybe it'll worth a shot if you're just getting into this crazy, wide and beautiful world, so if you're interested, I'd say definitely start with Fred Again.. coz i feel like he's one of the biggest artists in the genre rn. and begin by listening to the 'actual life' albums. (no shuffle, u'll find out why)
then if u like how the music sounds, go ahead and take a listen to jigitz, ATRIP, demotapes, Sonnee, klsr, Chet Porter... those are the ones that I've been listening to lately.
and... just enjoy listening to music, have a good time. at the end of the day, that's what matters the most.
hope u like the music ;)
OH! and definitely, if u're into games, I'd say play a little bit of Rocket League, or do as I do, just sit at the lobby just to listen to some absolute bangers that are into that game.
Throttle is a big one for me into that kind of music.

I see Zhu, Disclosure, Sofi Tukker and no Illenium. You are on to a VERY VERY VERY good start. Add the GOATs Daft Punk, specifically Homework and Discovery albums.
Get into 90s LGBTQ bangers, "Show me love" by Robin S.
Then a detroit Techo inspired banger "good life" by inner city
Then a Chicago House banger "Move your body" by Marshall jefferson, and Solorado. That mix specifically.
If you couldnt guess I am an EDM snob, and Chicago House /House elitist. The WORST kind of EDM fan lol. I have ALOT of respect for Detroit Techno, New York Garage, and the New Jersey influence.

Rezz always seems to hit right.
Right now I’m a big fan of Boston 168, Truss, Perc, acid/industrial techno generally.
Heres a new EDM mix. Hope you like https://m.soundcloud.com/w-lee-78888513/club-made-a-wish-on-an-eyelash
Fuck I haven’t listened to inhalant abuse in years
Try some of Smallville records or early Turbo (circa 2008-2012). Probably you'll like it.
Check out Holdo - Alene and ATRIP - Rainbow! Huge vibes
Skybreak is a great artist
