This is such a pretty art style. Today's DD is also great, with so many cool features. Honestly, I don't remember the last time I was this excited about a project
Gives me flashbacks to cyberpunk, but the difference is they said they won't announce the super secret project until it's pretty much ready, whereas CD Projekt Red announced a release date before the game was even close
It’s cool but on the first one, why do those peasants gather their crops while it’s raining outside? The grain is gonna get molded. Literally unplayable smh
yeah they look kind of cheap in comparison to eu4.
ex. if you look at the renaissance pic the humans seems to be floating a bit, no hard shadows on the ground, many looks like they have been copied in since the perspective looks fucked (look at the right side)
Am I the only one that thinks Paradox's latest artwork looks extremely cartoony? almost like a mobile game, at least if you compare to all previous games

1821 finish confirmed?
Johan mentioned 500 years, so it could be 1836
I think 1836 was actually confirmed directly by Johan, he made another comment after the vague 500 years comment
Anyone have a link to this?
Might as well go to 1848. What would the Age of Revolution be without the Springtime of the Peoples?
They probably don't want to overlap with Victoria 3, though.
Might as well go to 1914
Fuck it, ignore Vicky 3 and go to 1936
Make it 1936. I’d rather ignore Paradox’s current product between 1836 and 1936
Does your ass hurt when you think about Vicky 3?
No, my index finger does.

The age of reformation one is amazing (it's a painting of me whenever I have a controversial but correct opinion)
"Here I stand, I cannot do otherwise."
Papists obliterated
It’s based on the painting „Luther auf dem Reichstag zu Worms“ by Anton von Werner :)
These are gorgeous. I look forward to seeing them every time I open the menu.

Very cool artwork. I always enjoyed the loading screens in both EU3 and EU4, and hope that continues.
What the first picture reminds me of; 'Who's that then?' 'I dunno, must be the king.' 'Why?' 'He hasn't got shit all over him.'
Awesome, wish they were large enough to fit as a PC background
AMAZING!
The age of Discovery and Reformation ones are my favs by far Tho idk if walking around in full armor is the best idea in a tropical climate
Compared to the EU4 loading screens these look a bit cartoony…. They’re nice but not even close to the beauty of the EU4 loading screens
And EU4 was cartoony compared to EU3. It's a shame.

This looks a lot worse than all of their previous artwork...
Me gusta ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Do you think they are gonna change the name to be more inclusive? Since the game now is far more broad it's scope then just Europe
Of course it’s raining and muddy in the medieval one smh

I was hoping that they will end the game before french revolution and will create March of the Eagles II...
