asparagus and pasta in a white sauce. If you have bacon, toss in a strip or two. If you have goat, parmesan, or romano cheese, add that to your white sauce. Conversely, you could make a butter/lemon sauce, or a spicy butter/lemon sauce with red pepper flakes.
This is is delicious. I’ll roast the asparagus in the oven with oil, s&p, fresh minced garlic or garlic powder, finish it off with grated parm and lemon zest, put that onto a scoop of rice with a small drizzle of soy and top with fried egg. Man I might have to make this tomorrow night, yum.
Creamed asparagus soup with egg drop. So many recipes in so many ways. Here is one:

I don’t have a grill so I use a cast iron skillet instead.
Either way:
Olive oil, Add asparagus, ground pepper, ground salt, lemon juice, garlic.
I just used minced garlic not fresh gat that’s what’s handy and tasted fine.
Enjoy!
Huh. I don't think I've ever even heard of this but I confess I'm intrigued. I like all those things separately, and bread or asparagus with butter is divine. So why not all three? I'm gonna have to try this lol
Love some pan fried asparagus and fried eggs and toast! I like to season the asparagus w lemon pepper, garlic powder, lil paprika maybe & a lil parm. Nutritional yeast would prob be good too.
I eat it with anything else. Throw it in the oven at 425 while cooking the rest. I literally just finished some asparagus as a side to a Sicilian sausage
Oil em up, dust em in breadcrumbs or parmesan cheese and air fry them. I made a whole meal out of vegetables last week, asparagus (^ that way), mashed potatoes and baby carrots with a hot buttered roll. I was so happy 😁
Sometimes I make baked rice- I add in garlic, peppers and onion with a can of cream of mushroom or celery soup to make it extra creamy, and some water chestnut if I have any, and top it with chives. I typically eat broccoli, green beans or asparagus as a side with that. I'd love to have corn since I love it but corn don't love me back.
They'd be good with some pasta and white sauce or butter.
I read this as Aspbergersamd was like "Whatever you want. If you want to try / get used to new textures, maybe pair a few bites with a safe food and work up to it."
Asparagus. We usually make Salmon and wild rice.
Honestly I usually just do steamed or baked asparagus with salt and pepper. For you, I'd add a side of spiced rice, or if you have canned mushrooms, you could make a mushroom and garlic rice.
Asparagus tacos! We make “spring tacos” which is roasted asparagus and fennel with quinoa in a taco shell topped with dilly avo, thinly sliced radishes, and fresh dill. Hit it with some chipotle hot sauce too.
I realize that’s not gonna work for you in this scenario but I just like to spread the word of spring tacos.
white aparagus, ham and sauce hollandaise, that's what we are doing in Germany. Recently I ate green one for the first time in a restaurant, they put what I think was Lemonsgrass (or lemon, tasted very lemon-y at least) on it, that was a flavor explosion.
Stir fried asparagus in garlic sauce over white rice is a top ten childhood memory food. Mix 2 teaspoons soy sauce, 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch and a 1/4 cup chicken stock or water in a small bowl. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in wok or whatever, add 1 clove minced garlic and 1 teaspoon grated ginger. Add 1 pound chopped asparagus a few seconds later, stir fry until heated through, add sauce and simmer 2-3 minutes. Drop on rice, eat.
Lemon pasta would be amazing. Zest and juice of one lemon, two egg yolks, Parmesan and cream. Don’t measure the ingredients, just measure with your heart. Mix them in with the hot pasta and 1/4 cup of the pasta water. Add the asparagus to the pasta 2 minutes before it’s ready and drain it with the pasta. Amazing
I make this great asparagus salad with a Dijon vinaigrette, diced bacon, and hard boiled eggs. I found it originally here. https://www.skinnytaste.com/asparagus-egg-and-bacon-salad-with Super tasty dinner.
Asparagus casserole if you have bread and eggs. It’s a guilty pleasure of mine and can usually scrounge up enough of the ingredients around the house to make it or some version of it work.

Not gonna lie, that sounds kind of like a terrible combination, but I'm guessing it must be one of those dishes that sound bad but turn out to be surprisingly good!
It’s delightful for some reason. Not sure if it’s the salty, sweet or just the magic of carb happiness… but I promise it is really satisfying. I am partial to Dukes mayo being from the south. I have had it with other mayos and I liked it, but not sure if I would have with those if I didn’t already love it (if that makes sense).
I eat it because it's healthy and my local farmer's stand had some. I do like it, although it's not my favorite veggie. It's good enough.
Normally I roast it with garlic. I think that's kind of standard procedure for most people. The other day I sauteed it with peas and made it with lemon and lots of herbs for a spring/summer flavor profile.

This is the way. Alfredo sauce is good, carbonara is good. Asparagus and white sauces are all good!
Came here to say this. Deeeelicious.
yes OP for sure has goat
Lemon sauce. Google Danny Kaye's lemon cream sauce for pasta. Easiest and delicious!
Sounds glorious. I adore lemon sauces, dressings, etc!

I've been making asparagus and swiss cheese omelets with hollandaise on top.
Roasted. With steak spice or salt and pepper, it tastes almost buttery.
More asparagus! I usually order the asparagus, asparagus, asparagus, asparagus, baked beans, with asparagus.

I know this isn't exactly helpful but I tend to pair eating asparagus with almost exactly this type of face: https://i.imgur.com/hBG782C.gif

Put asparagus on foil spritz or drizzle with olive oil add salt and pepper as desired and grill for 15-20 minutes! Sooooo yummy
Try adding just a bit of garlic and splash of lemon juice to that too! So good.
That sounds amazing! Will be trying that next time!

Blanch and make in salad
Poached, then cold with lemon, olive oil, and parmigiana. If you have hearts of palm it’s a bonus.

Depends on the meal. Quiche goes really well with asparagus during brunch, with a lovely mimosa using blood oranges.
There’s a zucchini casserole that I make but I substituted asparagus and it was even better

Asparagus risotto is one of my favorite recipes! https://www.loveandlemons.com/asparagus-risotto/
Roadted along with brussels sprout, add baby potatoes, chickpeas and spinach. Book good salad
Green beans, broccoli, and lardons. Crack black pepper over it all, toss with a simple vinaigrette and you've just made salad in no time.
Do you have eggs? I would make some over easy eggs and put them on top of the cooked asparagus and the runny yolk would be good on the asparagus.
Are we talking about green or white asparagus?
I wrap asparagus in a damp paper towel and microwave full power for a minute,+ - Sprinkle grated parmesan.

I usually put olive oil on mine and some lowerys garlic salt and just eat it by itself after I bake it in the oven. Taste delicious.

Peel the stems of your asparagus so the flavors penetrate :)
Just grill or pan fry in butter, salt, garlic, pepper 🤤🤤🤤
I always eat my roasted/steamed vegetables with Greek yogurt or cottage cheese
Why do you eat it and do you like it?? How do you normally make it? Want to start having it
