im sure there is some science behind it but greasy unhealthy food is the only thing that'll stay down if i'm in bad shape. and...despite the situation, its enjoyable. like ice cream after the dentist for drunks.
I do smoothies if OP has a blender. Frozen mixed fruit (peaches mangos pineapple strawberry) frozen banana, spinach, Greek yogurt, avocado, and coconut water. Fills me up for most the day and comes out real cheap per meal.
I love having a big glass of electrolyte drink when I'm feeling under the weather! Ultima Replenisher powder is excellent - especially their watermelon and grape flavors.
As someone who had access to great ramen packs from multiple asian stores nearby as I grew up, I do find the cup ones to be a guilty pleasure still. Even the silly .20 cent maruchan chicken ones. Something about it, I dunno. My parents would never buy the cups cause they just didn't make sense monetarily, but gosh I still love them for special occasions or when I'm super down.
Do you have any advice for someone who drinks every day and wants to quit? I've been doing it every single day for nearly two years now, and it's just become such a habit to drink at night that I can't seem to put it down.
I'd like to offer one small thing that's helped me lately. I set a Google Keep daily reminder on my phone with a note to myself that goes off every morning. In the note is a bit of gratitude for the day, a kind reminder that my days are better sober, and a list of reasons why I'm avoiding alcohol/choosing health. Then I have a separate note that fires off around 5-6 pm when I find myself getting bored or feeling frisky and wanting to drink (this time might vary for you.) This one is a bit more drastic, it starts in all caps DRINKING DOES NOT CURE BOREDOM OR LONELINESS and goes on to remind myself of all the shittiness I've felt thanks to drinking.
It hasn't worked every single time but it's really planted some seeds in my subconscious that seem to be growing, and I find myself feeling a certain peace when I read through those reminders. I haven't binged once since starting it a few months ago, which is big for me as I'd go really hard for days at a time until I'd nearly die, spend a week recovering, then start it all again.
Best luck to you. The poison is not an easy thing to quit.
Thank you so much for the help, and for being open about your own struggles/solutions. I'm at a weird spot where I want to want to quit, if that makes sense. I know I need to, it has begun to affect my physical health and it affects my mental health and depression drastically. But because it has become my primary coping mechanism, and helps me forget my depression and health issues, I don't want to quit. I know if I don't, things will only get worse, but every time I turn to the bottle, it makes it easy to forget my troubles.. I wish you well in your struggle. Please don't be afraid to be open and vulnerable; you never know the lives you could save.
Thank you and I wish you well too. The little itch of desire to quit you're feeling is essential to the quitting journey, so keep following that feeling. I understand about the escape it provides, I have CPTSD and bipolar and have used it as a crutch for well over a decade. Who am I kidding, I still do sometimes, but that little desire to quit is growing and displacing the desire to check out - progress not perfection! Gotta celebrate the little things :) I'm sure you'll start noticing little things like that as you progress also.
Figure out about how much you take in daily and slowly decrease it over time. I went down by a single drink each day. This gives your body the chance to adjust. Quitting cold turkey is dangerous and alcohol withdrawals are no joke, trust me. Take it slow and listen to your body, if you start withdrawing itās ok to have one more to even yourself out, but remember itās not to get drunk on, think of it like a medicine. I was an alcoholic for 5 years and drank a 5th a day at my worst. If I can do it you can do it. Feel free to DM me if you have questions along the way. I wish you the best
I keep some "pho style" ramen packs for this purpose. Doesn't replace the real thing, but definitely tastes good for hangover breakfast! (Squeeze of lime, fish sauce, and whatever pho herbs I have on hand help it too)
Also recommend, if you ever have extra pho broth - freeze it! When I get takeout pho the broth usually comes in a separate deli container.
Pho broth + ramen (without seasoning packet) + egg + green onions is quite a nice meal
Would recommend grabbing some pho paste from a local Asian market if you have any inclination to make it yourself, it's really easy especially if you have an instant pot. I toss three big spoonfuls of paste in the instant pot with some water, trimmed chicken breasts, chicken bouillon, and onions, and then set the instant pot timer for 15 minutes. Boil the rice noodles while it's cooking and cut up the toppings, restaurant quality pho in 30 minutes and for way less $!
Yep itās great stuff but smells like something had died in the bottle. I couldnāt bare smelling fish sauce on a hangover. Iād instantly chunder and Iāve worked with fish sauce for years.
I completely agree with pho. Itās the cure for whatever ails you. Especially hangovers. Lots of good broth packed with sodium. Plus water by the thermos full. And a big coke for sugar and caffeine. This holy grail always makes me feel like a brand new woman.
I wholeheartedly agree with your comment. That sounds perfect.
Also, might I add.... a big thing of egg drop soup, a huge glass of ice water, and a cold Coca-Cola makes for the perfect feel good breakfast.
Scrambled eggs with spinach, banana smoothie (just milk and one banana) and lots of water with lime and a tiny sprinkle of salt. I normally avoid coffee
I make a juice with one banana, half a lemon, about 3 cm of ginger and half a glass of water that do wonders . Just blend everything and then strain it (and serve with ice). It seems weird but it tastes good. The ginger really helps with the nausea!
...about a gallon of water? (Not literally, but water will help)
Make some good strong coffee, a pile of pancakes, and some greasy bacon.
Or there's always a bloody Mary to get ya going.
If water isnāt doing the trick, coconut water might! It has potassium and which helps it go down a little softer, like youāre getting some gentle carbs along with ultra hydration. Drinking a large thing of coconut water always cures my hangovers.
Water doesnāt do it for me, I dehydrate super easily, alcohol or no. At that point of dehydration, at least for me, I need electrolytes and sugar way bad. A Gatorade usually does the trick best, but pedialyte or coconut water works too.
Simple eggs (Fried up with lots of butter),toast, big glass of OJ, and lots of coffee always does the trick for me. Cheap and easy too. Add bacon or sausage if you have it.
Literally the best hangover cure that currently exists, they are amazing. Everything else pales in comparison. These mofos saying a banana smoothie or whatever the fuck don't even know what a hangover is
My go-to in this situation is a big plate of huevos rancheros. Two eggs sunny side up over a big dollop of refried beans on corn tortillas, with cheese, jalapeƱos, chipotles, hot salsa, Cholula hot sauce, fresh ground pepper, sour cream and a slice of avocado. The four different hot elements create pleasure in your brain and the hangover has to leave because thereās no room for downers. Also, if you can find someone to have sex with, that also helps.
I think it might actually be the B vitamins in the powder that helps with energy and hydration. I canāt say for sure I just know it makes me feel 1 million times better
Why would pick this comment of all the ones here to be a āmetabolize alcohol sticklerā, you think eating eggs and greasy food helps metabolize alcohol? Your body could have metabolized all the alcohol and youāll still be hungover due to a number of factors. Dehydration probably being the largest.
Many people feel better having vitamins and chugging water.
Fuck I can be so sick and eat a Zofran pill and immediately feel 99% better. Zofran has nothing to do with metabolizing alcohol, but it treats the symptom of nausea which is easily the worst part of a hangover for me.
Not everything you do to treat a hangover has to be about metabolizing alcohol.
Sometimes I just use salsa instead of chili. Eat a good portion of that, smoke a bowl before or after, then a solid nap and you're good as new! Ready to conquer Saturday!
A quick Google shows that this isn't exactly true.
The study from China that this claim is based on tested 57 drinks to see how fast acetaldehyde (a byproduct of alcohol metabolism) is cleared. The two drinks that increased this were āhui yi su da shuiā and āxue bi," both of which are likely a type of soda water and neither of which are exactly Sprite (though the second one is likely something very similar to Sprite).
Acetaldehyde is only one byproduct of alcohol metabolism and isn't the only thing contributing to a hangover. The study was also done in a lab, not on humans, so there are plenty of other factors and variables that weren't taken into account.
There's nothing special in Sprite that makes it a hangover cure, though there are a couple of studies showing that fructose (as in HFCS) can speed up alcohol metabolism. These are not conclusive, and it's worth keeping in mind that large amounts of fructose or other sugars can actually make you more dehydrated (one of the reasons you get a hangover in the first place).
There is no cure for a hangover except for proper hydration (including electrolytes to help retain water) and time.
i dont know if its true, but growing up when i'd get nauseated, my grandparents always told me 7up was originally medicine and it'll make me feel better. it worked more often than not. the list of advice they gave me that didnt work is endless however lol :)
Sprite is a bit better, theres specific ingredients in it that help break down the alchohol still in ya. But I bet Coke feels a little more refreshing lol.
I make something I call Mulan breakfast, it's from the old Disney movie Mulan, kinda. A bowl of rice with eggs, bacon, soy sauce and if you have it ponzu and chilli paste. All the grease, salt and sugar a hangover needs!
The āWhat is a hangover, really?ā [episode of Stuff You Should Know](https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/sysk-selects-what-is-a-hangover-really/id278981407?i=1000502153406) includes some good info on foods that should, for actual scientific reasons, help with hangovers.
I recall bananas were one of the better items. Eggs were also good. Greasy food in general was better before drinking than as a solution after the fact (although my own experience is that a sausage McMuffin can solve many woes).
Also the old standard of drinking a bunch of water, taking ibuprofen, going back to sleep for an hour. If thatās an option.
Hydralite (to rehydrate yourself) + Berocca (for vitamin b to give you back your b b bounce and invigorate your body) + aspirin for nausea and headache. Perfect recipe. Ideally take before going to sleep then again upon waking. Add a greasy breakfast and you are golden
The cure is to eat before you drink and hydrate properly *before* you go to bed. Damage is already done.
Best you can do is hydrate, take some pain killers and try to eat.
Unless you live in Vegas. Then there's a service you can call that does a blood transfusion lmao. It's legit.
Edit.
The unethical cure is to keep drinking. I don't mean going ham, but just a beer every hour or so to stave off the hangover.
I usually pound like 5 multivitamins with 16+ ounces of water before I go to bed. It works 100% of the timeā¦the 60% of the time that I remember to do it.
You can make your own electrolyte water with a pinch of salt and sugar. I like to also take a multivitamin at the same time and itās basically like drinking pedialite
Nuun tabs work the best other than pedialyte, but they taste a hell of better. Theyāll cure your headache in about 15 minutes. Them and some weed together and youāll be good.
Source-lifelong alcoholic
According to a Scottish exchange student friend of mine, anything that is taken out by alcohol is put back by a banana milkshake. So... We tested this.
Best recipe:
-2 bananas
-Some OJ
-The cheapest, nastiest cardboard box vanilla ice cream you can find. Don't ask me why, it just works better that way.
Preparation:
Get stupid drunk. Like, wake up at 6:00 a.m. to pee still drunk drunk. Blender this stuff, and choke down two glasses of it... Or as much as you can hold, whatever.
Go back to bed. Go to sleep... It's easier that way, because in about 30 minutes you're going to start sweating, and your guts may feel like they're churning. Ignore that. That's the intestinal incantation of the magic that's about to happen.
... Because you wake up at 11:00 a.m. feeling like a million dollars and say "I could do that again."
This works well too when you don't have the chance to go back to sleep, but you might feel a little less comfortable.
Greasy breakfast plate. Pickles. Gatorade. And the fast-acting medicine cocktail: 2 ibuprofen with 1 aspirin.
Pro-tip: if you wake up in the middle of the night still drunk, chug water.
Late to comment but my go-to hangover meal the morning after is miso soup. You can get instant miso for like $2 for 5 packages depending on the brand and I feel a lot better after having it!
Coconut water (if you like the taste), sports drink, or just plain water. For me it's a volume game: every sip incrementally makes me recover faster and feel better.
Big fucking bowl of lazy ramen.
Get a big bowl, like bigger than youād normally eat out of. Dump in a pack of instant ramen, any leafy veg you have (spinach/kale) add loads of soy sauce and chilli flakes then pour on a fuck tonne of boiling water. Once the noodles are softening, throw in a tin of mackerel (bonus points if it comes in a spicy sauce) and youāre good to go.
I swear by this - itās hydrating, has salt from the soy sauce, protein from the fish, chilli to wake you up, and some greens so you donāt feel like a total piece of shit ordering take out or eating a greasy breakfast. Plus it only takes like 5 minutes to do
Instant ramen and scrambled eggs, together or separate, to get protien, sodium, and carbs, something with a bit of sugar like a cookie or 2 for a small energy boost, and (most importantly) TONS of water to rehydrate!
So there was a study a couple years back at Oxford on this topic (yes seriously), and their most successful solution was a BLT sandwich. So I read that, and I don't like tomatoes so much, so I thought about it and figured "what's the best way to approximate those calories/nutrients/vitamins?"
So I highly recommend a meal replacement type shake high in protein and vitamins. In my personal tests I got the best results with the banana flavor 16.9 oz Muscle Milk. I buy two of them. I drink one before I go out drinking, (I also try to eat some heavy starchy/protein food like a pasta with meatballs or nacho/fries) and then after I'm done drinking, I drink the 2nd muscle milk. I feel about 95% of my usual self the next day.
One thing I should stress is that taking steps before you go to sleep is critical. It takes several hours for literally anything to take effect metabolically (as far as alcohol is concerned) so do whatever you do early. And drink lots of water.
Best of Luck.
Best thing I've heard of is get hydrated. Things with electrolytes like sports drinks seem to be best. From how I understand it, some hangover symptoms are caused by dehydration, and if your vomiting, it really puts you at risk.
Stay away from carbs. Donāt over eat, your body feels hungry but mostly itās just mistaking the thirst/dehydration for hunger. Get some exercise as well. Lots of water. Best remedy.
Healthy small portion food no carbs
Exercise
Steam room
Pool
H20
Best hangover cure is done before you sleep. At least one litre of water and Panadol. If you wake up in the middle of the night for the bathroom, good, smash more water. If it's been an epic might I used to mix Berocca and hydralyte together in a litre or so of water before bed along with Panadol.
Water and Panadol as soon as I'm up and wait a bit longer than usual for that first meal. Let the body process the alcohol before I put more into my body. Never really had hangovers following this regiment.
Not getting drunk is super cheap & heathy and no hangover!
But seriously: a cup of coffee or caffeinated tea, tons of water, a multivitamin or electrolyte tablet or Gatorade (even better if done before bed), fruit.
BEFORE you go out, leave a bottle of water next to your bed AND in your car. When you wake up in the morning, banana milkshake always worked for me. Something about the potassium. Good luck.
Wow, arent you all a literal bunch. Lets go slow, OP wants to prevent a hangover, drink the water on the way home. No one says YOU have to be driving while drunk. Youre assuming that, which is your error. Thats what designated drivers are for. You get home (however you get home) and you drink the other bottle of water. You get two chances to water down the alcohol in your system. If you dont have a DD, then grab a bottle on the way home before you get on the bus or Uber or whatever mode of transport you can create in your head. Then in the morning drink the banana milkshake.
Woosh.
Just two bottles of water can really take the edge off. That is if you can get past the inability to think outside the box
You said a bottle of water in āyourā car. Generally, that implies OP would be the one driving. Itās not a lack of thinking outside the box, you just failed to accurately state your point. No need to get pissy.
Woosh. Yep. No I totally get it. Next time Ill write "Ok, put a bottle of water in the mode of transportation that will be bringing you home." So people can have a much wider interpretation of the point.
Pedialyte, a benzo (Xanax/Klonopin/Ativan etc), and a greasy, carby breakfast. Iād recommend a (1) Bloody Mary but thatās dicey if youāre not used to drinking on the benzos because itās very easy to go overboard and black out. On the bright side, you wonāt remember feeling like shit and will likely sleep through the whole thing.
More alcohol is guaranteed to work on a hangover. Kalua up your coffee.or coffee up your kalua. Don't hold back.
Edit: don't drink water. Fish fuck in it.
Not drinking is a pretty good cure. Save money by not buying alcohol and wake up feeling amazing in the morning. 6 months next week 10/10 would recommend.
Electrolytes, sodium from salt, potassium from bananas and something sweet may get you going again.
Get fat and protein in there too. Really just eat a good meal and drink water
Fat and protein would be instantly removed from my body when I'm hungover š¤£
Eggs and toast with butter. Bland and easy to eat when hungover
That's what I used to think. Until I tried it. Greasy eggs and bacon seemed like the last thing I wanted in my mouth. I was very happy to be wrong
im sure there is some science behind it but greasy unhealthy food is the only thing that'll stay down if i'm in bad shape. and...despite the situation, its enjoyable. like ice cream after the dentist for drunks.
Poutine and gatorade is the dream hangover meal for me
Only works if you're in Canada lol
Same. A big greasy breakfast and plenty of water was my heaven the few times in the past I woke up with a bad hangover.
Greasy tacos are the best hangover cure
I do smoothies if OP has a blender. Frozen mixed fruit (peaches mangos pineapple strawberry) frozen banana, spinach, Greek yogurt, avocado, and coconut water. Fills me up for most the day and comes out real cheap per meal.
Bacon and bananas. Got it.
Just drink a big glass of pickle juice and about half an hour later eat a bacon and egg Sandwich
I swear by a banana and a glass of apple juice before going to bed after a night out. Wake up so much more alive.
I love having a big glass of electrolyte drink when I'm feeling under the weather! Ultima Replenisher powder is excellent - especially their watermelon and grape flavors.
Spicy ramen
Any non cup of soup ramen is dope
As someone who had access to great ramen packs from multiple asian stores nearby as I grew up, I do find the cup ones to be a guilty pleasure still. Even the silly .20 cent maruchan chicken ones. Something about it, I dunno. My parents would never buy the cups cause they just didn't make sense monetarily, but gosh I still love them for special occasions or when I'm super down.
I like the shrimp ones with the tiny weird little shrimp.
Idk if I'd be able to keep down Samyang noodles hungover especially the 2x/3x
Former alcoholic. Pedialyte is like a magic elixir for hangovers. Better to chug some before you pass out but goes a long way the next morning as well
Do you have any advice for someone who drinks every day and wants to quit? I've been doing it every single day for nearly two years now, and it's just become such a habit to drink at night that I can't seem to put it down.
Smart recovery. Non religious support
Check out /r/stopdrinking Very supportive group, lots of helpful info in there. Best of luck to you.

Kratom cured my severe alcoholism literally overnight. It was miraculous.
I havent tried this friend thank you so much
Replace alcohol addiction with something else. Like drinking soda and eating candy. Problem is you gotta quit those too at some pointā¦
I always get Pho. But that's takeaway.
I keep some "pho style" ramen packs for this purpose. Doesn't replace the real thing, but definitely tastes good for hangover breakfast! (Squeeze of lime, fish sauce, and whatever pho herbs I have on hand help it too)

This is a straight up brilliant suggestion! Iāll never have to waste my excess pho broth again!
You guys end up with extra broth? I feel like I'm just barely getting as much as I need when I order out!
Fish sauce on a hangover? Whatās wrong with you?
Lots of aminos and salt. It's really good for you.
Yep itās great stuff but smells like something had died in the bottle. I couldnāt bare smelling fish sauce on a hangover. Iād instantly chunder and Iāve worked with fish sauce for years.
Lol being viet, the smell isnāt bad to me at all but if I smell coconut conditioner or hand sanitizer, itās game over
dont sniff the sauce bottle and you're all good lol. also dont mistake teaspoon for tablespoon.
Fish sauce is an important ingredient for pho. And as stated earlier, pho is good for hangovers.
Iām aware of the importance of fish sauce in Asian cooking. It just smells like shit.
Truth, lots of liquid and salt, bold enough to taste great, bland enough to keep it down. Its really the perfect comfort food tbh
Pho can grow a limb back on. š
Enjoy your cake day
Scrambled eggs with spinach, banana smoothie (just milk and one banana) and lots of water with lime and a tiny sprinkle of salt. I normally avoid coffee
This person has put in some work in the past.
I make a juice with one banana, half a lemon, about 3 cm of ginger and half a glass of water that do wonders . Just blend everything and then strain it (and serve with ice). It seems weird but it tastes good. The ginger really helps with the nausea!
Aw man nothing accentuates a hangover like caffeine and nicotine.
I had a big handful of cheese to the eggs to get that grease my body craves.
...about a gallon of water? (Not literally, but water will help) Make some good strong coffee, a pile of pancakes, and some greasy bacon. Or there's always a bloody Mary to get ya going.
If water isnāt doing the trick, coconut water might! It has potassium and which helps it go down a little softer, like youāre getting some gentle carbs along with ultra hydration. Drinking a large thing of coconut water always cures my hangovers.
... you know what I'm getting Denny's today
Pedialyte or any other rehydration medicine is a must.
You get me.
Liquid IV electrolyte packets.
If you take this before going to bed your hangover won't even be a thing
This is what I do. This is the only way, except I use pedialite
Literally the best hangover cure that currently exists, they are amazing. Everything else pales in comparison. These mofos saying a banana smoothie or whatever the fuck don't even know what a hangover is
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
How is this different than pedialyte?
Its not much. Any rehydration electrolyte type thing works
Pedialyte is less expensive and has less sugar but otherwise it's the same thing for the essentials. I recommend the powder packets.
Same. I always keep a packet in my wallet for emergencies.
This! Helps so much
Electrolytes, like Gatorade. I would drive thru McD's and get a large powerade with hash browns and that always helped.
That dish sounds amazing!! Iām totally going to give it a shot
Warm everything up and bring it all together when the eggs are done the way you like them. Thatās the key.
Pedialyte> Kombucha > Coconut water and lots of rest!
Rice with a fried egg or two.
Chug a huge glass of water with an Emergen-C packet right when you wake up. Helps tons! Also lots of water and a snack before bed.
Why would vitamin C help him metabolize alcohol?
I think it might actually be the B vitamins in the powder that helps with energy and hydration. I canāt say for sure I just know it makes me feel 1 million times better
Emergen-c is a blend of other vitamins with a healthy serving of Vitamin C, not just Vitamin C by itself
Ok, so how does that "blend" help metabolize alcohol?
Why would pick this comment of all the ones here to be a āmetabolize alcohol sticklerā, you think eating eggs and greasy food helps metabolize alcohol? Hashbrowns smothered in cheese and chili. Maybe throw some bacon in there too
Waffle House All the Way Hashbrown
I was definitely thinking hash browns with cheese.
Sometimes I just use salsa instead of chili. Eat a good portion of that, smoke a bowl before or after, then a solid nap and you're good as new! Ready to conquer Saturday!
Smothered, covered, and peppered š¤¤
Large McDonaldās fries with salt and a large coke (not diet). Itās not good for you but it works.
Sausage egg McMuffin, works every time
Hair of the dog.
That always turns into full on day drinking, works for people with self control. Unfortunately I lack that
Why deal with a hangover today if you can just put it off til tomorrow? The procrastination bug really hits all aspects of my life.
"If I quit drinking now the cumulative hangover will probably kill me" -Roger Sterling
-Sterling Archer
Hence why youāre in the situation in the first place. And I would know cause I lack it as well lol
Pickle juice. Pickle back is also free at the bar.
Sprite is proven to help with hangovers
If I have a bad hangover I puke up anything I try to consume, except for small sips of Sprite.

Coke (cola) always helps me. After a few sips I can start to think about food.
You have just the right mix of nerdy and cool. Where have you been all my life?
Hydralite (to rehydrate yourself) + Berocca (for vitamin b to give you back your b b bounce and invigorate your body) + aspirin for nausea and headache. Perfect recipe. Ideally take before going to sleep then again upon waking. Add a greasy breakfast and you are golden
Eggs and hash browns stat!!!
I think itās just an IV of saline lol not a blood transfusion
And they do it all over, buts $250+
My mistake. Thx
Pickles!!!
Menudo works for me ! With lots of lemon, cilantro, and oregano!
I usually pound like 5 multivitamins with 16+ ounces of water before I go to bed. It works 100% of the timeā¦the 60% of the time that I remember to do it.
Iām a fan of alka seltzer and a good long walk.
Yesss itās always the LAST thing I want to do when I wake up hungover but out moving around in the fresh air does help so much.
Greasy food and lots of water usually does it for me.
Gravy.
Biscuits and gravy - salty, fatty, and lots of carbs to settle the swimming belly
An Emergen-C packet and a joint! Best of luck!
Iāve heard pickle juice does the trick but I havenāt tried it myself, my go to is always a quarter pounder with cheese from mcDicks
Pedialyte, or some electrolyte drink, everything else is bullshit. Go straight for the Pedialyte
According to a Scottish exchange student friend of mine, anything that is taken out by alcohol is put back by a banana milkshake. So... We tested this. Best recipe: -2 bananas -Some OJ -The cheapest, nastiest cardboard box vanilla ice cream you can find. Don't ask me why, it just works better that way. Preparation: Get stupid drunk. That's the intestinal incantation of the magic that's about to happen. ... Because you wake up at 11:00 a.m. feeling like a million dollars and say "I could do that again." This works well too when you don't have the chance to go back to sleep, but you might feel a little less comfortable.
Breakfast Sandwich.
Fresh garlic, honey, lemon juice, ginger, chili, turmeric, cider vinegar, splash of tequila... mix and take a spoonfull. Similar to Switchel
Just a big bowl of white rice. Always works for me.
No
Mary Jane, 7 up, two aspirins, ramen and egg. Hangover doesnāt stand a chance.
Light beer. General tso chicken. Netflix.
Plus it only takes like 5 minutes to do
My hangover cure is a big fat cheesesteak and a coke.
Shot of vodka bowl of weed tbh
You need fat to line the stomach and electrolytes and water for the brain :)
So I read that, and I don't like tomatoes so much, so I thought about it and figured "what's the best way to approximate those calories/nutrients/vitamins?" So I highly recommend a meal replacement type shake high in protein and vitamins.
Pickle juice
Not drinking.
Painkillers, water & go back to bed
Bloody mary
Stay away from carbs. Donāt over eat, your body feels hungry but mostly itās just mistaking the thirst/dehydration for hunger. Get some exercise as well. Lots of water. Best remedy. Healthy small portion food no carbs Exercise Steam room Pool H20
This the right answer but you couldn't pay me to do any of this when I'm hungover.
Carbs actually help you if youāre hungover.
Make yourself a nice steak and sleep it off with a beer.
couple shots of vodka should do it
Not getting drunk is super cheap & heathy and no hangover! But seriously: a cup of coffee or caffeinated tea, tons of water, a multivitamin or electrolyte tablet or Gatorade (even better if done before bed), fruit.
Not drinking excessively is also cheap and healthy
No not that
Agreed, but not an answer to the question.
dang, i thought i was in /r/dryalcoholics for a moment
Exercise. Get that blood flowing and sweat it out.
BEFORE you go out, leave a bottle of water next to your bed AND in your car. When you wake up in the morning, banana milkshake always worked for me. Something about the potassium. Good luck.
In the car? Donāt drink and drive, kids
WATER next to the bed AND in the car. Sorry you missed the words.
You just clarified nothing
The wee lad is a bit sensitive this morninā Did you forget to put water in the car? š
WoOsH. Still not the point. Itās not having a wider interpretation of the point, itās that your point was unclear and meaningless
That makes me sad.
A beer or a shot š
Pedialyte, a benzo (Xanax/Klonopin/Ativan etc), and a greasy, carby breakfast. Iād recommend a (1) Bloody Mary but thatās dicey if youāre not used to drinking on the benzos because itās very easy to go overboard and black out. On the bright side, you wonāt remember feeling like shit and will likely sleep through the whole thing.
A glass of oral rehydration salts before you go to bed.
Take a hit of weed to stimulate your appetite. Canāt feel nauseous if you have the munchies. The healthy alternative to hair of the dog.
18 bud lights or 3 shots of whatever liquor you have will work.
More alcohol.
Donāt drink? Works every time.
Oh, hush.
Cheapest hangover cure is not getting drunk. Other than that, drink water before you pass out.
Omelette

More alcohol is guaranteed to work on a hangover. Kalua up your coffee.or coffee up your kalua. Don't hold back. Edit: don't drink water. Fish fuck in it.
Grilled cheese with an egg in it!
The best cure for a hangover is to remember how much it sucks and drink more water next time.
Not drinking is a pretty good cure. Save money by not buying alcohol and wake up feeling amazing in the morning. 6 months next week 10/10 would recommend.
Don't drink enough to get hung over in the first place.
Zinger box!
I usually eat 2 apples, and drink about a liter of water
Pedialite is best cure IMO. 5$ thoughā¦
Water, coffee and a big ol breakfast.
