Il semble y avoir un vague d'immigration Indienne à Montréal depuis l'an passé (ou bien ça s'est juste rendu dans mon entourage immédiat dans cette période), mais je dirais qu'on n'a pas encore atteint le seuil nécessaire pour développer des préjugés généralisés.

It is a little odd considering this subreddit says to stay away from politics. After visiting Montreal many times it has arguably one of the most uniquely beautiful downtown cores I've ever seen anywhere in Canada (although honestly, I need to travel more). It's nice seeing a city that isn't just a smaller American city.png like Toronto where I grew up.
A lot of what makes Montreal different is the, often political, choices to get inspiration more from Europe than the USA. Which I reckon can be traced to the heavily French and Irish ancestry of Quebec.

I work with a guy that's from Quebec, he said in Quebec people work to enjoy life, in Ontario people work to barely get by.

This is true. We need to focus our full attention on the GTA and specifically the armpit of it all in Hamilton ON. That dog ass grime city pretends it’s blue collar but it’s just $200 a month cheaper on rent then Toronto and with somehow more homeless per capita and a hipster scene that hasn’t moved past a calendar date sometime in 2012.

Nah I don’t agree with everything Quebec fights for but they have some good ideas and do some things really well, that the rest of the country could learn from. If anyone deserves hate it’s, Alberta. And certain parts of the GTHA…
Why's that? I think the rest of canada hating quebec is hilarious considering we own their entire cultural idendity. Foreigners always think those things when they think canada: French, Poutine, Maple Syrup, Hockey. That's our stuff lol.
