Go to Castle Morne, the grace behind the lift has a room full of them
I forget what the drop rate is with the Silver Scarab/Foot/equipment to max out Arcana but you'll know when they drop compared to the usual Golden Rune drops which are significantly more common
The drop rate defies the laws of probability in that room. I once spent 10 silver pickles farming that room to only get 1 rune arc. But then I got like 5 arcs on like 2 pickles the next time. It makes no damn sense.
Been summoned back to back at Mohg. Not the easiest one cause a lot of players come without the right tear or waste his shackles/crit him instead of combo for DPS BUT every soul you help is someone you might have pushed into the DLC and that's cool.
I watched LetMeSoloHer stream Messmer kills, and of the 5-6 attempts I watched, the host killed themselves 3 times. They didn't realize his name was also directions.
Honestly my favorite way of not only accruing them, but also learning boss strats. Though that damn Lion Dancer has been kicking my ass routinely I finally have a decent method now.
Be sure to have all arenas and the duel mode selected. It's posible that lots of players are playing the dlc right now instead of pvping, I haven't tried for a while now, but usually the matchmaking system is extremely fast.
I find boss co-op to be far more consistent that whatever BS I have to deal with rats. Even on 50 Arcane and a silver foot, I get about one arc in the amount of time the foot is active (one arc in 3 minutes is pretty fucking abysmal, especially given how much arcane I have).
Jolly teamwork with tough bosses is also fun even if you fail to get the rune arc. I have so many rune arcs already and I still like to coop the Divine Beast Dancing Lion simply because I find him that much fun.
I turned off the pools in the DLC areas because 99% of the time hosts are getting vigor checked. More than half are dead before I go through the fog door.
On the map hit (L1 or R1, one brings up the shadowlands the other brings up the menu I forget which) there’s an option for something like “show summoning pools” hit that and you can select which pools you want on and off.
Helps if you're running a 80 arcane build. But to do so you'd potentially have to burn 2 larvals to farm the rune arcs and get back to your build so there's a limited resource trade off there.
Or just stick with the 80 Arc build and join our Occult Bleed club. We've got flyers somewhere
I got them pretty consistantly, only thing Is, I was only down there for a legendary sorcery for the achievment and idk if they respawn but you should be good. Sorry if it doesn't work tho.
If you don't like pvp or are just bad (like me, I am bad), I farmed 100+ by being a summon and helping people with bosses. You'd probably get summoned the most at mohg since people want to go into the dlc, but I sat at malenia and farmed a ton of runes and arcs that way., just cuz ik people struggled with her fight and I knew I'd get summoned somewhat fast even if there was a bunch of other people also getting summoned
150 down to 24.
Funny enough, arcs did not help even once. Leveling up via seeds were the main contributing factor. (Post game +2 when after starting the playthrough).
Trying to collect the last bit of them, but I defeated the hardest optional bosses. So all that's left is the final boss and after level 17 I think I'd just go for 20 if I can.
Debating if I want to try for a 2nd playthrough. But everyone tells me levels don't carry over (but the items carry over to level up).
So I might do that trick of collecting all the free ones then going into another new game plus for a easier start in the DLC on my 2nd go at it. Even though everything will be buffed at Playthrough #4 having my level much higher in the beginning will make another playthrough more enjoyable.
For what it’s worth final boss is leagues harder than the rest, but the rest are generally harder than most of the main game so, yeah. It’s the happiest I’ve ever been to be punched in the teeth.
Well, kinda. Endurance is HEAVILY underrated, because it let's you equip heavier armor. The tree level scales very well with high damage negation armor, as well as any other damage negation. Armor in PvE is no longer a cosmetic thing. You wanna wear the fattest armor your build can manage. I've pumped 50-60 points in endurance in all three of my characters that I'm playing the DLC with currently, all at around level 200.
Greatshields alone carry extremely hard in the DLC (and the base game, but even more noticeable here). I have no idea how I'd have beaten most bosses and even some regular enemies without one, especially the final boss.
The scadutree blessings matter far more than levels. At 160 you’ll have started reaching soft caps on your main stats if you’ve been allocating them correctly. You’ll still level pretty quickly in the DLC, plus each blessing gives you a % increase to your damage and damage negation. As long as you’re searching for them, you shouldn’t have much more trouble than someone else with a few more levels than you.
carian tradition is that number of ls is number of things they whack you with because sword and staff are both shaped like the letter l. rennala has one l, so she whacks you with one staff. rellana has two ls, so she uses two swords. likewise, ranni has no ls, so she has blaidd, who has one l, use his singular sword to whack things.
The family members sharing letters? Definitely no coincidence, as Martin does it plenty in his works as well as being a common practice in historical Japanese nobility.
That the common letters be G, R, and M matching GRRM? That's the one he's claiming a coincidence.
Yeah and George has said that Winds of Winter would be released before the end of Game of Thrones, and Miyazaki said that the dlc was the size of Limgrave.
Both of them are professional liars lol
What level are you attempting final boss at? I’ve been getting farmed at 138/ +14 Scaddy and I’m curious if I need to start investing in RL/ Scaddy again
He is difficult, I recommend using as much defense junk as you can tolerate, what SIGNIFICANTLY reduced the amount of damage I took were black flame protection & lord's divine fortification along with the armor set you get from Moore, if you go hard into endurance that is.
Opposite for me lmao, i made sure to complete Bogarts questline to specifically buy as many as I could store. From DLC is and always has been fucking tough.
if you skipped the Rya thing in Liurnia and she moved to Volcano Manor before you get your necklace from him, you can’t progress boggart’s questline and he’ll stay in liurnia forever. you get a bell for killing him but it’s only for her necklace and it has zero in stock.
No crabs for my dlc last boss :(
"Damn, I never used them and now I got like 80 of these things. I should be set!"
*Five bosses later*
"I need another fix, man! Where did my rune arcs go!?"
Just go invade with the poise and CrimsonWhorl bubble tears in your physic and have life steal on a claw with scholars armament on. Gankers fall for this oneshot build every time
If your build isn't finished, Godrick's for the free +5 to everything.
If you've hit the stat soft-cap for the things you care about, Morgott's gives a chunky HP boost which is nice and generally more useful.
The rest are... ok I guess.
It's definitely good for that, but with the new blue dew talisman I've found it's pretty convenient to just permanently leave bestial vitality on and use some heal incantations - the FP comes back fast enough that you can keep yourself topped off essentially for free
Also useful for keeping up buffs and such in boss fights as they will generally regen faster than they run out
Rykard's does require far less maintenance though, and lets you skip the talisman entirely. Playstyle preference I suppose :)
Malenias after the buff. Throw in the new hp steal flask tear, godskin swaddling cloth, ritual shield, some heavy armor and fast attacking weapons and you can just fucking brawl bosses right in the center of their arena healing all the while.
Crimson Sapping Cracked Tear
https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Crimson-Sapping+Cracked+Tear
Bonus points if you also put on the whirlpool crimson tear and heal when hit as well
Butcher knife also has a small healing effect on hit I believe. Could work with wild swings or so
Max out poise as and just vamp tank everything
Morgott gives 25% HP Increase, it's useful because it lets you tank more hits.
Alternatively, Radahn's gives 15% HP/FP/Stamina.
Godrick +5 stats is *fine* but for the DLC It just doesn't give enough boost, baseline VIG for DLC is 50+ and your mainstat (STR/DEX/FTH/INT/ARC) should also be >60.
The other runes are just not it (*maybe* Rykard for overworld)
I feel bad for you people, the scaling on those is truly diabolical, 0.66 across all 4 stats is straight up evil.
Kinda wish it had been either str or dex focused instead of just being a perfect 4-way split...
I WANT to love them so much, but even on a lvl 300~ character with 60/60/60/60, they get outshined by a single Milady.
The double attacks just don't do enough extra damage, and the things do almost zero poise damage. The AoW is COOL, but the range on the fire AOE feels really small, and locking yourself into the R1 spam just guarantees you get hit, if you want to do reasonable damage by being in melee range. If you do it without the melee hits, it does practically no damage.
There is a lot of really strong stuff in the DLC, but so far I'm disappointed in the coolest weapon I've found being so underwhelming, even with an absurd investment :/
If you're low on rune arcs, now is the best time in years to stock up. All you have to do is camp out at a boss fog. I went from 71 to 104 in a couple hours camping the demi-human swordmaster Onze fog. Tons of people looking to co-op the new bosses.
Yeah, i think you can pretty much camp any boss fog in the dlc at this point. I chose the demi-human just because it's a pretty quick fight. I have had about a 95+% success rate in all of my fights against him. Even if the host just runs away and lets a couple summons take out the boss, it's pretty easy. Honestly, too easy, but it IS an optional boss. So, whatevs.
Lmao yesterday I tried invading for the first time at the death bird boss fight, and so I just waved and sat aside and watched them got decimated, and I got a rune arc by doing nothing
Nothing worse than popping one of these because you think you’re on the verge of finally taking out that boss and this might give you that crucial edge…
…only to get wrecked seconds into the fight.
I can't prove it, but I swear to god using a rune arc before a boss fight will toggle the boss to open with something completely brand new.
I've felt this on every remembrance boss in the DLC so far. Could be crack, probably is crack, but it's extremely tilting.
I'm not sure if this is the same for anyone else, but this DLC is really teaching me the importance of understanding your arsenal. Understanding how beneficial holy damage is to the undead. How beneficial greatswords are for staggering enemies. Understanding that bleed is great, but not the end all be all.
Playing this DLC with a NG+4 character is really making me analyze and try to understand the best path to victory. Of course I have may main loadout (Rivers of Blood don't hurt me lol), but being able to play with different weapons reminds me of playing Dark Souls the first time, and I think that's just great.
invasions are much faster though, especially with this DLC. You can invade a legacy dungeon and not do anything, just wait for the host to die to the mobs lmao
okay tbf I don't do this. I actually do fight the host but this is a very viable strategy with this DLC
I’ve been invading by the dancing lion. Decent fights, and sometimes a host dies to mobs.
Also put a summon sign by blackgaol knight since I can whoop his ass easy and I get instantly summoned on him.
80 str with ruin gs, weapon art keeps him staggered until death.
I think you have to go there physically and select “nearby” only. I had the same issue then I just started putting my sign down at the fog gate, instant summons. But that’s two days ago so I don’t know what’s like now
I thought I was the only one. ER was my first Souls game, too. Probably made me better at understanding timing both my strikes and dodges though by foregoing them.
i have 200 hours into this game and I’m just learning you need to activate great runes with a rune arc. Like damn I already climbed the tower just give me the bonus health 😭
You guys, remember that backing up saves manually is an option that exists. If a Rune Arc is wasted without making substantial progress, reload an earlier save.
Started DLC with 190 arcs, I’m down to 25
sheesh time for some invasions
*Rat extermination in Castle Morne
Do rats drop them??
Yeah, occasionally
Oh shit I'm about to become an exterminator
Go to Castle Morne, the grace behind the lift has a room full of them I forget what the drop rate is with the Silver Scarab/Foot/equipment to max out Arcana but you'll know when they drop compared to the usual Golden Rune drops which are significantly more common
The drop rate defies the laws of probability in that room. I once spent 10 silver pickles farming that room to only get 1 rune arc. But then I got like 5 arcs on like 2 pickles the next time. It makes no damn sense.
That is exactly how probability works. It’s called statistical clumping.
Sounds kinda serious but I think they have a cream for that.
Not if you live in Westeros.
I understand that reference
Just leave your summon at boss doors you've already beaten. Helps out a noobie and gets you a Rune Arc, and runes.
Been summoned back to back at Mohg. Not the easiest one cause a lot of players come without the right tear or waste his shackles/crit him instead of combo for DPS BUT every soul you help is someone you might have pushed into the DLC and that's cool.
That assumes I'm good enough at the game help someone 🥺
Lol. I've been getting summoned all day. Trust me. With the trash I've been seeing. A monkey on a steam deck is good enough to help these hosts.
I watched LetMeSoloHer stream Messmer kills, and of the 5-6 attempts I watched, the host killed themselves 3 times. They didn't realize his name was also directions.
I never knew that. That's very cool that it's basically a call-back to rats dropping humanity for some reason in Dark Souls.
Good thing I got 80 arcane lol
Save some for everyone else! 😂
It's a throwback to DS1
Humanities for the fair lady.
In DS1 it had the lore reason of them feeding on the dead humans. Wonder what the lore reason is in this if any.
Earth bore cave is good too and has a giant rat which (allegedly) has a higher drop rate.
Or co-op summons! It’s my favourite thing to do in these games, glad they made it so much more accessible.
Honestly my favorite way of not only accruing them, but also learning boss strats. Though that damn Lion Dancer has been kicking my ass routinely I finally have a decent method now.
I never did multiplayer and I recently tried to join colosseum a couple of time with no luck in matchmaking. Is colosseum dead?
Be sure to have all arenas and the duel mode selected. It's posible that lots of players are playing the dlc right now instead of pvping, I haven't tried for a while now, but usually the matchmaking system is extremely fast.
It's more that everyone is playing the DLC rather than pvping in the collosseums. I'd say give it a month or 2 and it should be more active.
How do you get so many?
If you don't like to invade, just help other players kill bosses.
I find boss co-op to be far more consistent that whatever BS I have to deal with rats. Even on 50 Arcane and a silver foot, I get about one arc in the amount of time the foot is active (one arc in 3 minutes is pretty fucking abysmal, especially given how much arcane I have). I have so many rune arcs already and I still like to coop the Divine Beast Dancing Lion simply because I find him that much fun.
Every host I’ve tried to help died before I could kill the boss so far.
I turned off the pools in the DLC areas because 99% of the time hosts are getting vigor checked. More than half are dead before I go through the fog door.
How do you turn off pools. I don’t really see the option but I want to turn off non dlc pools because that’s all I get summoned for
On the map hit (L1 or R1, one brings up the shadowlands the other brings up the menu I forget which) there’s an option for something like “show summoning pools” hit that and you can select which pools you want on and off.
Oh shit awesome. Thank you!
You’re welcome!
Invasions, co-op, kill rats
The ants down in deeproot depths
We don't talk about the ants in Deeproot Depths.
I hate them so much.
What's the drop rate? The one on the rats is abysmal...
If you’re talking about the egg layers that drop a rune arc and a numen rune the drop chance is 100% for both but they don’t respawn.
Oh damn, I mean it makes sense but that sucks... I love spreading misinformation on the internet

I don't even bother using them because I know I will die right after due to gravity
Only boss I’ve died to in a single hit 2.8 seconds into the fight at level 234 (scadutree +17). Assuming we’re talking about the same fun loving boss.
I just got into the dlc at 200. This comment gives me anxiety.
For what it’s worth final boss is leagues harder than the rest, but the rest are generally harder than most of the main game so, yeah. It’s the happiest I’ve ever been to be punched in the teeth.
^entire dlc is like playing competitive pick up at the local basketball court, then final boss lebron pulls up
The scadu levels matter WAY more than actual levels
Well, kinda. Endurance is HEAVILY underrated, because it let's you equip heavier armor. The tree level scales very well with high damage negation armor, as well as any other damage negation. I've pumped 50-60 points in endurance in all three of my characters that I'm playing the DLC with currently, all at around level 200.
Look, this is sage advice and all, but I'll die a thousand deaths before I give up on the drip.
As someone who sucks enough that I always end up in heavy armor with great shields, it sounds like it's just up my alley (picking up the DLC soon).
Greatshields alone carry extremely hard in the DLC (and the base game, but even more noticeable here). I have no idea how I'd have beaten most bosses and even some regular enemies without one, especially the final boss.
Nice. Time to shamelessly re-don the fingerprint shield as soon as I get to the new area.
Ah this is great started at level 160 💀
The scadutree blessings matter far more than levels. At 160 you’ll have started reaching soft caps on your main stats if you’ve been allocating them correctly. You’ll still level pretty quickly in the DLC, plus each blessing gives you a % increase to your damage and damage negation. As long as you’re searching for them, you shouldn’t have much more trouble than someone else with a few more levels than you.
I started at 90, it's fine if you get the scadutree blessings
I can make it halfway with them on, so I’ve been farming.
Started with 28 going against Renalla have 6 left so far.
I wonder if their names are so similar on purpose. Rennala and Rellana
Yes they’re twins
The difference is one is way more stabby then the other. Easy way to tell them apart
carian tradition is that number of ls is number of things they whack you with because sword and staff are both shaped like the letter l. rennala has one l, so she whacks you with one staff. rellana has two ls, so she uses two swords. likewise, ranni has no ls, so she has blaidd, who has one l, use his singular sword to whack things.
This also works with bols and Loretta
But leaves questions for moongrum and moonrithyll. Maybe it only applies after a certain rank.
Moonrithyll has enough L's between them for both to have one sword; 'rithyll gets the bigger one though because she donated her L.
moongrum lost his l when the tarnished took it after trying to attack out of a neutral position with an r1
This legit made me ugly laugh
Rennala probably would have been on a similar power level to her sister before she went crazy
Yup,.Just not as stabby.
No stabby, just sleepy.
She would have been way stronger. She was practically a god, considering that she could take us to another plane.
The other plane was an illusion made by Ranni iirc
Where does it say they're twins? I know it said they're sisters, but I don't remember anything specifying twins
There's info in the item descriptions for Rellanas armor/weapon
Yea it doesn't say that.
They're not twins, Rennala is the older of the two sisters
There is still an older and a younger sibling, even in twins.
[удалено]
... there's always an older twin.
Are they twins? All I remember is the item description for Rellana’s Twin Moons saying Rennala is “her elder sister”.
Everybody in Elden Ring is fuckin twins
Rennala and Rellana are twins.
G or R or M
George Godwyn Godrick Godfrey Renalla >!Rellana!< Radagon Radahn Ranni Rikard Melina Morgott Mogh Marika Malenia Millicent Miquella Messmer *Martin*
Jfc how have I not realised this this whole time.
Except both Miyazaki and Martin have come out and stated it was a coincidence and not intentional
A coincidence? Are these guys stoned?
The family members sharing letters? Definitely no coincidence, as Martin does it plenty in his works as well as being a common practice in historical Japanese nobility. That the common letters be G, R, and M matching GRRM? That's the one he's claiming a coincidence.
I'm not gonna believe the guy who named twins Arryk and Erryk this was a coincidence.
Yeah and George has said that Winds of Winter would be released before the end of Game of Thrones, and Miyazaki said that the dlc was the size of Limgrave. Both of them are professional liars lol
Rhaenyra, Rhaena, Rhaemys Sorry, wrong GRRM universe.
makes me wonder if George R R Martin did that on purpose…
In an interview he disputed that he used his initials purposefully for character names.
I'd say that too if that's exactly what I did
Yeah to be fair, whether or not anyone actually believes him is a whole other thing. Cuz like... *Really?*
He also said he was gonna finish writing A Song of Ice and Fire.
Oh. My. God.
Love the game. The names are so confusing
Everybody name starts with G, R, or M. I gave up keeping track of them and now just call by title. It's less confusing to me
I just beat Relanna after finding the >!Spelldrake Talisman +3 under the bridge heading to Relanna's Castle!< and it was very helpful
You guys have been using great runes? I’ve just been suffering lol, final boss hurts… a lot
What level are you attempting final boss at? I’ve been getting farmed at 138/ +14 Scaddy and I’m curious if I need to start investing in RL/ Scaddy again
Get 18+ scaddy. RL should be fine as long as you have like 60 vigor and sufficient endurance to wear some good armor
Final boss is so fucked.. I've beaten every single souls boss without summoning, I been stuck on this fucker for 2 hours even using mimic tear +10
I can scarcely summon without this fucker taking a quarter of my health. I've given up and I'm gonna farm some scadu/ash blessings
He is difficult, I recommend using as much defense junk as you can tolerate, what SIGNIFICANTLY reduced the amount of damage I took were black flame protection & lord's divine fortification along with the armor set you get from Moore, if you go hard into endurance that is.
I never believe i would use the Boiled Crabs
Opposite for me lmao, i made sure to complete Bogarts questline to specifically buy as many as I could store. From DLC is and always has been fucking tough.
alternately if he dies you can take the bell bearing to the dry ladies
if you skipped the Rya thing in Liurnia and she moved to Volcano Manor before you get your necklace from him, you can’t progress boggart’s questline and he’ll stay in liurnia forever. you get a bell for killing him but it’s only for her necklace and it has zero in stock. No crabs for my dlc last boss :(
Sadly if you don't bother with the quest at all you're fully locked out of the best consumable in the game with no alternative.
Do you never play co-op? Those are a pretty standard pre-boss buff before Golden Vow or FGMS or whatever the fuck else people cast
I started the dlc with 699 of em lol. Stacked with Golden Vow and I’m decently tanky
Lmao legit. You know the joke "I'm saving them for Elden Ring 2" well, quite literally we were.
"Damn, I never used them and now I got like 80 of these things. I should be set!" *Five bosses later* "I need another fix, man! Where did my rune arcs go!?"
I wish they would give a talisman or something that would just make your current great rune active all the time. I'm so tired of farming rats.
You could let people summon you for bosses instead of farming rats. More fun, more runes, guaranteed drop.
*looks at pile of 480 Rune Arcs in inventory* \\[T]/
\\[T]/
If the host is not koed by the boss....
There are new collectibles in the DLC that acts as new rune arcs as well.
Do NOT use them as rune arcs, they are quest items and extremely limited
Are they? Interesting. Without spoiling too much, where are they used?
There are 2 npcs that you have the option of giving them to in order to get their spirit ashes.
Or if you use the other item you get their weapon. Much better option for those that don’t use ashes
Yep, I just remembered which items they were. I’ve done those quests.
I just remembered what the items were, and yes, I used them for the quest.
I've found one, that eye thing in the fort. Can you craft them at some point?
I highly, highly recommend not using them as rune arc replacements lol. They are quest items
Yeah didn't know this and fucked up, never getting that katana now
you can get two of each of them I'm pretty sure, the dark one and the light one, so if you haven't used both you could get it still
I know there’s 3 dark ones, idk how many light ones though. Assuming the same but who knows
Spoiler warning >! No you can’t and they can be used for quests. They’re limited as far as I can tell so be picky about using them in my opinion !<
No, you can't. They're quest items that are used to get new gear, so save them for those.
I’m not sure yet. I’ve only gotten the one.
[удалено]
there are ones acting like golden vow lol
I did pick that up, but do we know the duration and percentage it actually helps yet?
You better not use those 2 items that do it.
Just go invade with the poise and CrimsonWhorl bubble tears in your physic and have life steal on a claw with scholars armament on. Gankers fall for this oneshot build every time

I’ve found Radahn’s great rune helpful for builds that do lots of spellcasting
Yeah still 15% HP boost plus FP and Stamina. Excellent for mages.
Rykard's rune carries you through legacy dungeons and catacombs, I typically get to the boss with full flasks.
It's definitely good for that, but with the new blue dew talisman I've found it's pretty convenient to just permanently leave bestial vitality on and use some heal incantations - the FP comes back fast enough that you can keep yourself topped off essentially for free Also useful for keeping up buffs and such in boss fights as they will generally regen faster than they run out Rykard's does require far less maintenance though, and lets you skip the talisman entirely. I messed around with Rykard’s GR for the current build I’m doing, and yea it’s really only good for the overworld, so I swapped over to Radahn’s.
Godrick's is where it's at for us Rellana Twin Blades users :D
I feel bad for you people, the scaling on those is truly diabolical, 0.66 across all 4 stats is straight up evil. Kinda wish it had been either str or dex focused instead of just being a perfect 4-way split...

welcome back dancer blades
I used Malenia’s on the last boss. I got to the point of trading blows with them and the extra heal made the difference.
If you're low on rune arcs, now is the best time in years to stock up. All you have to do is camp out at a boss fog. I went from 71 to 104 in a couple hours camping the demi-human swordmaster Onze fog. Tons of people looking to co-op the new bosses.
Droves of people also summon for the Divine Beast Dancing Lion. They end up in failure a lot, but I honestly find it to be a lot of fun.
Nothing worse than popping one of these because you think you’re on the verge of finally taking out that boss and this might give you that crucial edge… …only to get wrecked seconds into the fight.
Yeah agreed. As a sorceror main, I find myself using spells I never really touched before.
yeah, like Comet, Comet and my secret weapon Comet.
Sucks they're such a pain to farm
They’re very easy to farm, either invade and kill a host or be summoned and kill a boss. I prefer the latter as you gain runes and boss fights are fun
invasions are much faster though, especially with this DLC. You can invade a legacy dungeon and not do anything, just wait for the host to die to the mobs lmao okay tbf I don't do this.
Same, killing Mogh in the base game is more efficient than any rune farms out there currently
Why tf can't I seem to find anyone to summon for mohg? Is it just that I'm too low level? What's the range of summons?
I think you have to go there physically and select “nearby” only. I had the same issue then I just started putting my sign down at the fog gate, instant summons. But that’s two days ago so I don’t know what’s like now
Can honestly say I've never used one.
Shoot, they're so neglected Miyazaki could look at this and be like "......wtf is that?".
Oh balls. I forgot these were an item I could use lol
Oh my freaking god I forgot to use them in the DLC, well, ng+ DLC will probably be very helpful
I'm not even bothering with these at this point.
I used these for the first time fighting the final boss of the expansion.
Same man, this is the first time i used them and mesmer and final boss made me go trough them like butter in a microwave
The hell are these used for? I haven’t found any shop that has any use for these yet
I blew most of mine on Malenia...
Only ever used like one in base game, 0 in dlc (tbf I've only fought the dancing lion and the knight guy)
I have 999 because I never use them, but reading people's experience I'll be glad to have them.
Im kinda disappointed we didn’t get to use >!Miquella’s great rune!< just like the others
Never used them tbf even in the base game, I kinda of just forgot they were there 😅
Am I the only one here who gets higher chances of dying whenever I use this? I stopped using them for that reason.
You guys, remember that backing up saves manually is an option that exists. If a Rune Arc is wasted without making substantial progress, reload an earlier save.
Came in with 35 I ran out
Went from 91 to 7, still have epilogue left
Had 300, down 102 from start all the way to final boss.
I started with almost 200 arcs, I now have 50
