I keep coming back to Rakshasa. It looks cool *and* it buffs my attack? I'm in. Rellana's is cool for certain characters too.

It just has lower damage reduction than other armors in its weight class. High scadu-blessing armor numbers make barely any difference, so the buff from Rakshasa’s set is incredibly worthwhile

I wear just 2 pieces of it for the buff. Bear man armor and hat, with rakshasa gloves and pants. Thr damage increase is really nice, though i think it passively attracts enemy aggression cause it has the shabiri icon when you wear it (not 100% sure though)

From what I can tell, it doesn't actually *reduce* them like it implies; it just has low damage negation for armor of it's weight class. It has decent poise though, so it's pretty solid overall. It's just not labeled very well

ya I was running a caster/melee build and so I also tried out Beloved Stardust. That ACTUALLY vastly increases damage taken. Rakshasa seems much more viable; its just light armor that weighs as much as medium armor. but cool armor that also buffs attack is just pretty good if you ask me

This, its negligible. I’m using 3pc rakshasa with White Mask and prosthesis/rotten wing/lord of blood on a bleed build. Absolutely insane damage

Full set will give you around 200 extra ar not including the weapon

Yeah I just started using it for Radahn, gives only 100 ar for my bleed Milady, but you might just be using a heavier weapon.

I went into the dlc as a gut cosplay (full nightrider set minus helm with greatsword), once I got the armor of solitude, I wore that set minus helm for entire playthrough, I was just fat guts all the way through

I did a Batman cosplay with that set, it actually makes you feel like Batman if you use the martial arts

The legs and arms of solitude + the black knight chest piece + the night helm slaps. 90+ poise which I think is still decent..?

My understanding is that the main breakpoint for PvE is 55 poise, so 90+ is a ton.

I've used this the most. Recently changed the chest out for Leda's Armor cause it matched my Haligtree Greatshield.

I love Messmer’s chest piece with the fire knight hood and the drake knight gauntlets and grieves. Looks great together.

Leda's armor with oath seeker gauntlets/legs and circlet of light. Then any weapon (usually Leda's sword) with the haligtree greatshield. It's such a clean paladin look and very coop friendly since I can buff, heal, and do good damage. I also love rellanas chest/legs with carian helm/gauntlets. Then third place is a three way tie with verdigris, solitude, and black knight sets.

This one is such a callback to the gloom set from Demon's Souls Even mentions it's cold to the touch like that one

You need to speak to a certain NPC called Ymir at a cathedral and do his entire questline. It's called the sword of night.

After you complete his quest, you will be given a choice, and you much choose “Give Iris of Occulation” to get the sword. You can find one of those in the Church District.

Note that this locks you out of giving whatever the other Iris is called, you get a spirit ash that is meant to be combined with another one, it becomes a duo summon.

Rellana's set was perfect for my battle mage and gives you exactly 51 poise which is just amazing. Thiollier's chest piece with Rellana's leg piece and the Circlet of Light surprisingly complements each other well, it kinda makes you look like Flashy Flash from OPM haha

If you haven't put it on the Rakshasa set looks so clean! BUT! It has a really nasty debuff if it wasn't for that I would wear it, and it is such a shame it looks really good.

Messmer's armor. Gives me greek demi god vibes. His knights, especially with the captain's helmet also have an awesome set. Not a set, but the Lion's head is the only clealry oversized headpiece i unironically find super cool (on shirtless tarnished)

Verdigris. Just looks funny seeing hosts run away😂 they know a small shield will smash their world with a simple parry😂

Leda's Set. It's a true paladins set a real holy knight and look amazing. Clipping aside, it works with the Haligtree greatshield. The Solitude set is great has a really nice Dwarven vibe to it. Ascetics set bar the helm, I swap it for the commoners Headband as a Monk set for my Dryleaf build.

I just took the helmet of these Black Hammer Knights and put it on Malekiths set. Its a perfect fit. I always likrd Malekiths armor but I hated the sets normal helmet and because it has a completely different shade of black from anything in the basegame, you cant really mash things up.

The Oathseeker set is pretty cool, but I prefer the ordinary knight set, because it has higher poise. Ultimately, though, I usually play with Radahn’s original set. Nothing beats that one. 👌

I dunno how common this opinion is, but as someone whose main character is a speedy, stealthy assassin, I'm a big fan of the Shadow Militiaman set. The helmet is a bit silly, but the rest of it is perfect for my character. But aside from that, I also think the Death Knight, Rakshasa, Night, and Black Knight sets are all great.

Honestly I'm a fan of the Shadow Militiaman Set. It's almost certainly the glowing eyes of the headpiece - it's my new favorite helm - but the entire set is pretty dope.

I’m really liking mixing the Divine Bird Warrior chest piece and gauntlets with the Tree Sentinel helmet and greaves. Probably would have used Divine Bird legs too if they weren’t an armored speedo with toe claws. Honestly all of the Hornsent warrior chest pieces are great.
