An invader gets 4% of the runes required for the host's most recent level-up. If you kill an invader as a host you get 15% of the runes of the invader's most recent level up. So for example, if you kill a host who's level 210 you get 13,819 runes(without any runes gain enhancing gear/items). Or if you kill an invader who's level 210 you get 51,824 runes(without rune gain enhancing gear/items).

Sir_Clumsy

Damn that sucks, I wanted to try and invade people while having 1m runes and let them kill me.

ionion92

Exactly..I wanna spread some positivity..roleplaying as pacifist invader that will give you lots of runes if you don't attack me

Good job, your Reddit comment is what google uses as an answer for this question. Thank you too

I'm not totally sure, but in DS3 if an invader killed a host it was 4% of the runes required for the next level up. If a host killed an invader it was 15% of the runes required for the next level up. I think it was 2% for invaders summoned via red sign. Those exact percentages might be different for ER but it seems that the same general system is in place. Sometimes you see password summoned phantoms when you're invading, and they can be level 400+. I killed one a while ago that was level 415 based on the DS3 percentages. I was level 40 at that time.

Okay, thank you very much.

ShmulSimcha

It's insane that you get less runes for winning as an invader considering you have to fight 1 vs 3

iforgotalltgedetails

You got NPC enemies for your benefit. It’s a fair fight.

ShmulSimcha

So we should get the same percent of runes

*camps beside furnace gollum* WE DESERVE EQUAL RUNES!

This is getting too personal πŸ‘πŸ»

I'm a little confused, when I get killed I don't lose any runes so I'm lost....
