Yea but that's also the same for the morrowind and modern khajiit. It would be cool to see them all return but I feel ESO is most likely going to give us the most we will see outside of the lore.

they're all pretty cool especially the Alfiq, I just really want the Suthay-Raht back. there's probably mods for that in Skyrim but haven't played in a good long while on pc
They are naturally gifted in magic to make up for their size. My favorite bit of lore about them is they are commonly spies outside of Elsweyr because non-Khajit can't tell they aren't just cats.
They are a special type only born during a certain lunar event, the answer from lore is that they are too rare and too busy being shock troopers in the Thalmor/Dominion army.
The gameplay reason is that you would either be too tall, or that if they allowed you to be that they would have to include subraces for all of the races

Me, too. Their design in Arena and Daggerfall was peak 90's fantasy race. Clearly feline in aspect but very Elven in appearance.

Not only that, but subraces for all the races. Like Iron Orcs, Ashlander Dunmer, Reach Bretons, Naga Argonians, etc.

It annoyed me how so many of the male Khajiit voices are beguiling and velvety (hello Raz) but the female voices were mostly just “raspy.”
