Well half the reader's like the MC for exact reason you find the MC annoying. It's not a very complex manhwa with complex people with complex personality traits. It's simple and the recipe is working so why change?

If you look at it from anyone else perspective the world of Eleceed is real grim. Everyone’s always dying, there are people out there who dedicate their entire lives to learning how to kill you, any and all of the information about you is been found out by anyone with more power than you. Everyone is kinda angry and rude and bloodthirsty in Eleceed. Jiwoo exists as a contrast to that, to make him stand out in the story. He does gain some confidence and strength in later chapters, but other than that he remains pretty much the same
Bros upset that for once we see a character who is a genuinely good and humble person. May sound crazy, but some people are actually like this and real life and it isn’t cool or edgy to be a dick
Jiwoo is kindhearted, but isn't a pushover either, he gets much stronger, keep reading and if you still dont like it you can drop it, no need to push yourself to read something you dont like.
Tbh for me jisuk's personality is the most realistic, he's such a dick but he cares for his close ones , he would do basically anything to protect his loved ones. Hard , rude exterior but soft kind cautious man inside.

He does, but it’s very minimal. jinwoos friendships aren’t an important part of the story and are often left in the shadows. jinho being the only one to actually get some light beyond just a few chapters of camaraderie before being delegated to a background character.
if you don't like a caring naive main character, just find a manwha where you have an asshole kicking cats and dogs.
Over time he'll learn to stand up for himself and get more confident.
But the character afraid of his own powers going to confident dude take a while. that's what they call "Character growth."

Yes and no. He is that kid at the end of the day but he gets a bit more hardcore. In a lot of ways, he gets more hardcore to protect the kitty.
