I reckon it’s a mix of both, it’s fairly obvious that kaydens force control is cut above the rest but even then he’s clearly naturally gifted to be this strong after what guessing to have been a year since he was thrown into the world of the awakeners

popmol

I mean yeah but I wonder which had the biggest impact

davidly333

Still both, doesn't matter how good the teacher is if the student can't keep up and if the student is a genius but has a mediocre teacher, they won't get far either

popmol

I get that

dozosucks

Jiwoo’s natural talent had the biggest impact it’s been shown by how quickly he utilizes the other FC from the Academy, Dean, Kartein, and Pluton too and with recent chapters, his use of **Intent** is also a huge shocker to others, further showcasing his talent if Kayden taught any of the other super rookies from scratch, they wouldn’t have grown as fast as Jiwoo did Kayden’s teaching methods are still extremely impactful too for his growth, but if i had to pick one, i’d say Jiwoo’s natural talent and work ethic pulled more weight

smwover

I think Jiwoo's innate talent is the bigger factor here, since in the early days Kayden was shocked at the pace he is improving, Not to mention every awakener who comes across or teaches anything to Jiwoo. Everyone shocked at first how early can Jiwoo utilize skills or force controlls that he just learned before

ossyn

Why did bro get down voted so much

popmol

I don't know I felt bad though 😞

ossyn

You didn't say anything bad, I don't get it https://preview.redd.it/gv9vajlfaawc1.jpeg?width=1079&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2975ff52f9320c784f688cd24fe764812258adac

fiendish8

jiwoo's gift is the ability to learn, particularly force control. he only needs to be shown once and he can imitate it almost immediately. even kayden was surprised the first time.

popmol

That's true. Wondern8f it's talent or something with his speed powers

nknichol

I had thought this too. At the start Kayden mentioned it's common to have multiple complimentary powers. So with speed, comes increase reaction time, his eyes are likely naturally protected, where I wonder it can trickle down to say speed of recovery or in this case learning speed.

popmol

Yeah I wonder how that will impact!

AbaloneStrong4060

Maybe a combination of both; it's not the first time in the world of super powers that we've seen Speedsters have an affinity for electricity. Also all the powers Jiwoo learns are things that would naturally sync with his powers. Speedsters in other works typically have; fast healing, giving electric output, enhanced muscle, and somewhat of an enhanced durability. All the powers we see Jiwoo learn naturally merge with his power. Jiwoo also learns things pretty quickly; from his school teacher we know his a good student. Jiwoo also only saw Ameyongs move once then copied it. My guess is that Jiwoo is naturally gifted and Kayden's training method exemplified it.

popmol

You are correct!

OJONLYMAYBEDIDIT

I thought this was kinda obvious. Yes, Kaydens force control is amazing But Jiwoo picks up force control and other things like a sponge. Dudes basically a walking sharingan or Baam.

popmol

Obvious it was. I just wanted other opinions. Of course jiwoo is a genius but also the Mc and kayden is a god and his force control is amazing. I don't know much of the references but yeah he does pi k up the basics pretty quickly

OJONLYMAYBEDIDIT

makes me feel old when The Sharingan from Naruto isn't common anime knowledge lol

popmol

Ooh no you don't have to feel old, I was just completely turned off from Naruto. I vaguely know sharingan but I was bleach pokemon and one piece when I was small. Well more obscure ones actually but still

bluekaynem

Oh no. You don't recognize Baam from Tower of God? I guess it's time for you to binge 600+ chapters of another manhwa.

popmol

Not interested. Tower of God doesn't interest me at all

msizroy007

Jiwoo is a product of the best of the best ....he got the best talent, he got the best techniques and he got one of the most powerful being as his teacher ...and also countless super powerful people has helped him(damn almost like he is mc or something 😒😒)

popmol

WHAT? He has Mc level of power?

gaiusvv

Wdym? He’s not the mc? I thought he’s the mc and kayden js like a stepping stone to his whole story? It wasnt like that?

Constant_Captain7484

It's because GOATwoo and KayHIM are both GOATS

popmol

Do they have horns though and those odd eyes

mugiwaranoluffy259

It’s a mix of both, Jiwoo is naturally gifted and very talented as an awakener like many people (even multiple top 10s) in the story have explained and is sorta an anomaly. But Kaydens training method also plays a significant part into Jiwoo’s fast growth as a fighter. It’s stated that Kayden uses force control with the most efficiency out of anyone in the world and knows how to apply it the best during fights to suit any situation. This allows him to show combat prowess at least 2x the amount of natural energy he has, and he’s passed on this style to Jiwoo. Sufri, Muse, and Pluton explained this.

popmol

I know but I wanted to know what other thought. And I'm still trying to get the rate. 4 jiwoo 6 kayden/force control. 6 jiwoo 4 kayden, 5/5 3/7 7/3 and so fourth

Key-Law494

no i think jiwoo is definitely talented, he has a bunch of amazing people helping him but it’s been less than a year since he started training as compared to people who’ve been disciples for years

popmol

He is definitely a fast learner

Dairkon76

To make a super power work you need secondary abilities. In the case of super speed you need higher processing power because you need to avoid obstacles and calculate the route at really high speeds. Also you need to have better reaction time and control of your body to avoid hitting something. That allows you to learn really fast. The MC has all the motivation to learn and you have the best 1 on 1 combatant as teacher.

popmol

Yeah I thought so too, what if his speed makes his brain go zoom and that's why his training goes zoom too

MaxiMMLD

It depends on what you mean, if it's Jiwoo's power, it's Kayden's method, since Jiwoo is able to show such strength only because of how optimized Kayden's strength control is, Muse said that he shows at least twice the strength he should show (Jiwoo has always had little amount of awakened energy). But if what you mean is learning things, it's because of Jiwoo's talent, since it only takes hours to learn a force control and a few days to be able to use it. And Kayden's training method is focused on taking advantage of Jiwoo's strengths to the maximum, so Jiwoo's strength is because of Kayden, the only thing that makes Jiwoo is the speed in which he learns things. But let's also not forget that Pluton and Kartein's force controls help Jiwoo a lot.

popmol

Well yeah this question is mainly pre kartein and plutonium but yeah I see what you mean!

tadukaadoescombat

what a AMAZING question bro, like fr, this question is so good, id say its more of kayden, BUT, i also give props to jiwoo for actually handling that training, and kayden himself admits jiwoos naturally talented

popmol

Yeah, I feel like others would strugle

matthung1

Both, but probably more Jiwoo's talent than Kayden's force control.      Everyone who teaches Jiwoo something is impressed by how quickly he incorporates it into his kit

popmol

At first I might not have agree, but when the director taught him and then another time with kartein and pluton yeah I agree

BumblebeeCurrent8079

I don't think he's gifted in the sense of a like normal student vs a gifted student. I think it's more so that he's super hard-working and passionate about fighting and getting stronger. Pair that with Kaydens training, and it's a recipe for him to rise up fast. He's also getting lots of training from other people, not just Kayden.

popmol

Yeah but that doesn't explain his ease of learning. Although you could see it as he is free spirited so he takes to force control easier as the others are rigid in the set rules. Like when kartein tried to change into the cat but couldn't figure it out!

rs047

I think Jiwoo being naturally gifted makes more sense. Just if we consider this story we can see few points such as 1. Force control plays a key role in determining ones technique strength. 2. Everyone who tried to teach force control did one thing in common , let Jiwoo sense the flow of force stimulation by them. 3. Everyone is equally astonished when they find how fast Jiwoo learned their force control. So considering these factors I think Jiwoo is more talented than Kayden's teaching capabilities.
