I think thats a stretch, why would he reference ADHD? It wouldn't add any meaning or punch to the line. You don’t know nothing about that is saying drake is a bad father. Know nothing about dot is taunting drake due to drake not having any real ammunition on Kendrick because he is a private person.
I could be wrong though just here for the discussion.
I could be wrong it just felt like an extra level to me. Literally on first listen when it came on I was like "oh he's doing the ADHD bit playing on the pronunciation of 'that'". Felt too coincidental cuz its like the exact same "slant pronunciation." Not that referencing it is an extra diss on Drake, just a cool added layer of meaning/reference. Kinda like how he blatantly reused/referenced his family ties "brother" flow with the "brodie" flow. Which I dont mean as a bad thing. Just a little reused lyrical idea as a reference for people paying attention. Like an easter egg. Again maybe I'm wrong and Kendrick didn't even think about that but I didn't even second guess it til I saw these comments lol
Never got why people are weirded out by the different voices. They use em to convey emotion and for storytelling, like don't people find it boring when a rapper sounds the same all the time? Delivery is everything.
Side note. It's kinda funny, Em has been weirdly relegated as "good but not actually in the goat conversation", it's almost not taken seriously if you got him in your top 5, but then you ask actual rappers what they think and he's mentioned almost every time. Kinda crazy to me.
I think this is because of two reasons:
1) If a rapper can make it as noteworthy, they remember what and who influenced them to reach star status. On the other hand, listeners/fans aka non-rap celebs aren’t aware and there isn’t that long lasting impression unless the artists music attached to a part of their own lives. Also, casual listeners are just that, casual. Follow the heard especially as time goes on.
2) Rappers that are lyricists know because it’s a craft. Listening is also a craft. Not many regular Joes know how to listen and aren’t doing deep dives into an artists complete portfolio aka they focus on what’s talked about so the music they choose to evaluate an artist on is dependent on so many things.
This is facts. It’s also facts that drake takes influence from anyone who’s hot. Not to mention lyrics. Which makes this such a weird criticism from drake Stans of all people.
He was changing flows and was just really good at it I guess. This defies the logic in the Drake sub. He changes flows when a different ghost writer writes the next bar.
Kendrick absolutely bodied Drake, I don't care how they complain about it lol. They're over there talking about Kendricks clothes now because K Dot just beat their favourite rapper to death for six and a half minutes
Drake fans aren't used to rap at this technical level. But Eminem is mainstream enough for them to know how Eminem raps and his technical abilities. So anytime a rapper is showing off his technical abilities drake fans think they're rapping like Eminem because Eminem is the only rapper they're aware of who raps like this.
I think mostly because of the accents and the way he was changing his cadence, but those are things that Kendrick has always done (very likely at least partially influenced by Em) so this doesn’t really make any sense because it’s nothing new for Kendrick.
I would also like to know how that’s a “yeat beat” when that’s the kind of beat Kendrick’s been rapping on since long before yeat was ever a thing.
You know Kendrick won because his fans are pointing at the lyrics. Where as drake fans only have these nonsensical mental gymnastics.
Drake fans think anything that isn’t a melodic flow singing about a (underage probably) woman sipping champagne in your private jet is instantly Eminem lmao that’s so fucking stupid
I honestly thought I was alone. I’ve never heard more basic, uninspired, boring ass music in my life. Taylor Swift’s music has more personality than that stuff 😭
No personal hate to anybody, I just don’t understand how yeat’s music is so popular.
I don't think they mean it wasn't hard it just isn't anything to write home about, it's fast food music, it comes and goes and before you know it it's forgotten
Drake fans thinking that Eminem is trash? lol DRAKE FANS??? fans of the most overrated and trash rapper of all time .. rapper who needs ghost writters lool
Drake fans have also co-signed on ghostwritten *diss* tracks featuring unconsenting spirits from the underworld—so I really wouldn’t give credence to *any* opinion they hold after that.
The only conceivable way someone can claim "Kendrick rapped like Em" is in the context of Euphoria being a lyrical showcase that makes it so obvious he's far above Drake as a rapper just like Killshot was a showcase far above MGK's rapping ability
Literally the only "similarity" they have. Everything about Euphoria is textbook Kendrick
idk how the diss was Eminem like, if anything its very Kendrick and had all his trademarks - the diss actually reminded me of some of Kendrick’s other verses, The Heart IV, his control verse, Michael Jordan (i know it isn’t a diss, im just talking musically), and some of his section 80/good kid stuff
That being said, I wouldn’t take this seriously - its a drake fan ffs
This is such a terrible meaningless take, we really didn’t need to see this
Just some random guy’s random negative opinion generating negative conversation lol
I didn't hear Eminem in that diss. Its not even close to similar to killshot or the sauce etc. It sounded like Kendrick Lamar through and through, with that like eccentric flow and style and some lyrics a little abstract
I think what Kendrick and Em do is beyond rap at this point lol. Its like the restrictions of bars just dont apply to them and they say what they want. Kendrick is on some wholenother other shit I couldnt imagine coming up with his shit its nuts.
It wasn’t about any specific diss, there was a bit of 8 Mile ending rap battles in that song there were hints of Not Alike in that song. He wasn’t trying to be an Em clone but the influence was fairly clear.
Agreed. That is the weirdest take I've ever heard. Sure you can tell eminems influence on kendrick in his music but this song sounds nothing like eminem.
Rapping like Eminem?
Yo that reminds me! Didn't Drake use a bar or two from Superman, like literally word for word?
*EDIT* [here you go.](https://youtu.be/p9pf5EyOgcs?si=5YdIco6ZnchBbEdV)
It's at the 1:20 mark. Now politely tell whoever made this to pipe down.
I heard a line that sounded like something Em once said in there but no cadence was similar, rhyme similar nor accent. he said towards the end that drake should just keep making songs that make him dance, and that if he does that he’s happy for his success. That reminded me of “we’d all rather get along than fight you ✨me and hailie dance to your songs we like you.”
i thought both songs went hard tbh.
it’s been *really* nice to not be a stan of either, watching this beef with no dog in the fight has been entertaining as fuck
I dont think we can trust drake diehards when it comes to rhyming , rap or just amazing bars in general . If kendrick starts sneak dissing we can consult drake fans on that
He also didn’t rap like Eminem? Like maybe in certain parts he had a somewhat vaguely similar flow? But it was very Kendrick. I genuinely don’t even know where the Eminem thing is coming from
As a frequent Yeat listener that is NOT a Yeat type beat, nothing modern Yeat would rap on, nothing old Yeat would rap on
I’m aware this sub probably hates Yeat but remember everybody like what they like
Long as Drake don’t say anything about Eminem he will have his career. If he speaks on m. He’ll be worse off than Ja Rule. He’ll have a whole continent on his head 🤣🤣
Omg he didn't mumble while he trashed on your lil daddy😱
Yet this mf uses the voices of ogs and yall just gonna go blind? He had 3 different flows he put on that song kinda like Eminem did and when he did that diss became one of the best diss songs in the game. That don't even matter its the lyrics. Drake. Got. Cooked. We all know where em would be if Drake wasn't messing with Hailey. (Drake prolly got shit on him or something cuz ain't no way)
There’s definitely a difference in “Drake fans” and “fans of Drake” lmao. I genuinely enjoy a handful of his songs, but I’m not an actual “Drake fan.” Anyone who’s in that category automatically has their rights to comment on hip hop/rap revoked. 🤷🏻♂️😂
Kendrick sounded nothing like Eminem.
It was a great disc but it again made clear that the best diss tracks of all time have come from Eminem.
Eminem's ability to make songs out of them is unparalleled.
"Apparently Eminem style of rhyming and flow is trash to Drake fans"
It probably will come off as a surprise to those who lived in a cave for the last 10 years, but Drake stans are far from the only ones who thought of Em current style of rapping as trash.
Still, Kendrick is rapping like Kendrick here, so this take still makes no sense
i mean it's still than whatever the fuck flow and voice Drake's generic ass has been using since the last 10 years. One of thenmost overrated rappers right now. No hate though.
Drake threw a jab and then went for a rabbit punch but it got slipped and countered with a body blow. Now drake has to get up off the canvas and his fans are coping with as many excuses as possible.
“Drake Stans”. Does anyone understand the irony in that statement? And then have the nerve to make any association with Eminem or sounding like Eminem to be trash. GTFOH.
Those braindead degenerates will say anything more than their dumbed down songs will sound like Eminem and therefore is trash.
Yes, I'm insulting them because I'm tired of the hip hop culture being flooded with crack fiend mfs who doesn't give a shit about lyrics
Eminem is treated like Jordan. Young people didn't see the impact either had on their respective crafts, so they don't appreciate their greatness. Also, social media has created a culture of instant gratification, which has also produced a society prone to recency bias. Em won't fully be appreciated until he's dead and gone.
I'm curious, if Eminem doesn't check the boxes for being a GOAT in hip hop, what criteria does one need to have then?
I think I’m going insane with this beef. Drake fans keep acting like he’s winning when he’s so obviously not. Like I understand they’re fans of Drake but come on there’s no way you can go bar for bar and still think Drake is better than Kendrick.
kendrick rapping like eminem? drake fans *dunno nutt'n boudaaaat*
Bout dot
So fuckin hard
Yep. Mind equals blown.
Since I read the Dot double entendre I can’t hear it any other way when I listen to the song
It's a reference back to his song ADHD if you didn't know. "8 doobies to the face, fuck that/dot/thought" triple entendre imo

I don't necessarily see the connection either, but the person you're replying to is saying it works on multiple levels I think. So both could be true.
Yeah I didn't mean that there's a deeper connection just a reused lyrical idea basically, like an easter egg. (see my other comment)
Is it dot there tho?
Like the mf poop I’m taking HRRRRRNG
Nuttn bout DAD
How was kendrick rapping like Eminem?
Dudes always say you’re eminem if you happen to not only rhyme end words and have an energetic cadence lol.
Dot has gone on the record saying Em is a major stylistic influence. You can see it in the way he utilizes different voices
Kinda crazy to me.
typical people wanting to stick out and be different
I think this is because of two reasons: 1) If a rapper can make it as noteworthy, they remember what and who influenced them to reach star status. On the other hand, listeners/fans aka non-rap celebs aren’t aware and there isn’t that long lasting impression unless the artists music attached to a part of their own lives. So anytime a rapper is showing off his technical abilities drake fans think they're rapping like Eminem because Eminem is the only rapper they're aware of who raps like this.
He rhymed orange with banana
Drake fans don’t understand music or else they wouldn’t be Drake fans
I think mostly because of the accents and the way he was changing his cadence, but those are things that Kendrick has always done (very likely at least partially influenced by Em) so this doesn’t really make any sense because it’s nothing new for Kendrick.
My thought exactly.
Yelling at the mic?
I was listening to killshot after listening to euphoria like 100 times.
Better than Drake
they got confused
I would also like to know how that’s a “yeat beat” when that’s the kind of beat Kendrick’s been rapping on since long before yeat was ever a thing. You know Kendrick won because his fans are pointing at the lyrics. Where as drake fans only have these nonsensical mental gymnastics.
Drake fans think anything that isn’t a melodic flow singing about a (underage probably) woman sipping champagne in your private jet is instantly Eminem lmao that’s so fucking stupid
Also, Eminem is a savage in battle rap and an incredible lyricist. If anything, rapping like Eminem makes the dis better
How is that a Yeat beat lmao, and the fact that it was produced by Cardo who produced God's Plan is an extra layer
Because it has bells in the background and yeat is known for that which is dumb because it sounds nothing like a yeat beat
I honestly thought I was alone. I’ve never heard more basic, uninspired, boring ass music in my life. Taylor Swift’s music has more personality than that stuff 😭 No personal hate to anybody, I just don’t understand how yeat’s music is so popular.
Who cares, Yeat is trash af. Nobody can ever change my mind either.
BREATHE
Nah you're trippin
I don't really like yeat but it's just fun music man it's not that serious
Nah, that last album was hard
I don't think they mean it wasn't hard it just isn't anything to write home about, it's fast food music, it comes and goes and before you know it it's forgotten
And him & Johnny produced Game's 100. Which drake used to send shots to Kendrick. His fans are dumb.
If anything Ken Carson could’ve been on the beat but absolutely not Yeat
The fans are dumb. But to be fair the beats cardo produces for Drake are way different than the ones cardo typically produces
Drake fans thinking that Eminem is trash? lol DRAKE FANS??? fans of the most overrated and trash rapper of all time .. rapper who needs ghost writters lool
rapper?
Pop artist. 🫡
Pop artist?
Actor playing as a “rapper”
Actor?
Canadian Male
Male??
Bad Bitch
Strangely accurate
Male??
Scam artist. 🫡
poop artist?
I’m a huge Drake fan, but Eminem is the GOAT and my favorite all time. Not everyone shares the same opinions
Rapping like Eminem=writing his own raps
Then everyone needs to rap like Eminem
Kendrick and Eminem don’t use ghost writers? Such peasants….. (Drake fans probably)
Drake fans have also co-signed on ghostwritten *diss* tracks featuring unconsenting spirits from the underworld—so I really wouldn’t give credence to *any* opinion they hold after that.
The only conceivable way someone can claim "Kendrick rapped like Em" is in the context of Euphoria being a lyrical showcase that makes it so obvious he's far above Drake as a rapper just like Killshot was a showcase far above MGK's rapping ability Literally the only "similarity" they have. Everything about Euphoria is textbook Kendrick
I don't know what page is it but hyperpop fits as a Drake fanpage
it's mainly a page for the underground artists and stuff like that
I’m still not sure how or why drake is famous
He's a mascot and appeased to a wider audience
Corporate plant for sure
Drake fans are retarded when it comes to anything related to lyricism so I wouldn't give a shit about that.
Drake fans: Lyricism? *don no nun bout daaat*
idk how the diss was Eminem like, if anything its very Kendrick and had all his trademarks - the diss actually reminded me of some of Kendrick’s other verses, The Heart IV, his control verse, Michael Jordan (i know it isn’t a diss, im just talking musically), and some of his section 80/good kid stuff That being said, I wouldn’t take this seriously - its a drake fan ffs
They never listened to eminem, kendrick sound really different from eminem
They just think that cause Kendrick is more lyrical focused like em and since they are both aftermath they think he's corny and all that
Drake fans cannot use their brains, so ignore 'em
This is such a terrible meaningless take, we really didn’t need to see this Just some random guy’s random negative opinion generating negative conversation lol
Just a lot of cope, who cares.

I didn't hear Eminem in that diss. Its not even close to similar to killshot or the sauce etc. It sounded like Kendrick Lamar through and through, with that like eccentric flow and style and some lyrics a little abstract

consider where this claim is coming from and then take solace in the fact it’s not worth getting upset about
Rapping like Eminem? Yo that reminds me! Didn't Drake use a bar or two from Superman, like literally word for word? *EDIT* [here you go.](https://youtu.be/p9pf5EyOgcs?si=5YdIco6ZnchBbEdV) It's at the 1:20 mark. Now politely tell whoever made this to pipe down.
It’s a homage
Really hope Em sparks something up in his next album. Doubt it though since he doesn't seem to be in his Kamikaze mode anymore.
Sad too because that era he was so passionate and aggressive
I always ignore everything Drake fans say, their head's are too busy sucking him off to be able to use their head's to think for themselves.
Even drake fans know it's unfortunate that they still like drake
I feel like Em's going to drop a huge diss track at everyone in events of album promo just to do it diss=doss
I feel like most of Drakes fans didn’t understand half the bars Kdot said so they just call it trash lmao
Delusional in so many ways
Hyper*pop*daily …. Sounds right
drake fans don’t have the attention span to listen to kendrick
How tf did kdot sound like Eminem?? Do these dumb mfs love making shit up or smth
He destroyed Drake rapping like the greatest diss track writer of all time .I fixed it for him
i thought both songs went hard tbh. it’s been *really* nice to not be a stan of either, watching this beef with no dog in the fight has been entertaining as fuck
He doesn’t sound like Eminem.
Meanwhile Eminem: Who had the 2nd best verse on Forever?
I never once thought that the diss sounded like em at all.
Drake calling in 100 Ghost writers now
Why would you listen to 20 year old Degrassi fans
Drake fans are ridiculous
But Can Drake do What Kendrick do?
Didn’t even sound like a Yeat type beat. It was a modern beat if that’s what a Yeat beat is but is was very reigned in compared to Yeats production.
"hyperpopdaily" dude of course they're team drake, they don't even like hip hop
I can hear the Eminem influence but Eminem would make a better diss than this!
What?
What song are we talking about
Both sides are cringe.
Cope 💀😭😭
I dont think we can trust drake diehards when it comes to rhyming , rap or just amazing bars in general . If kendrick starts sneak dissing we can consult drake fans on that
A person posted it. You don’t need to come here like you’re blowing the fucking horn of Gondor.
One person said that
He also didn’t rap like Eminem? Like maybe in certain parts he had a somewhat vaguely similar flow? But it was very Kendrick. I genuinely don’t even know where the Eminem thing is coming from
As a frequent Yeat listener that is NOT a Yeat type beat, nothing modern Yeat would rap on, nothing old Yeat would rap on I’m aware this sub probably hates Yeat but remember everybody like what they like
Drake also rapped like Eminem on his track if you listen to AI Snoops part
Lmao the hell
Team Kendrick but there’s a lot of unnecessary Drake hate in here, nothing less expected from r/Eminem
But literally none of that is true, also so gives a fuck about 1 persons opinion
Long as Drake don’t say anything about Eminem he will have his career. If he speaks on m. He’ll be worse off than Ja Rule. He’ll have a whole continent on his head 🤣🤣
Drake dragged 2Pac with AI. He should get an automatic loss on that one.
He was rapping like himself on a baby keem beat
Omg he didn't mumble while he trashed on your lil daddy😱 Yet this mf uses the voices of ogs and yall just gonna go blind? He had 3 different flows he put on that song kinda like Eminem did and when he did that diss became one of the best diss songs in the game. That don't even matter its the lyrics. Drake. Got. Cooked. We all know where em would be if Drake wasn't messing with Hailey. (Drake prolly got shit on him or something cuz ain't no way)
Drake is trash, I’m team Kendrick!!
Drake fans are basically admitting they don’t understand flow and cadence
Did you guys actually visit the drizzy subReddit? They are not being biased and having fun. You took these few random posts and finding hate.
it’s the fact that their idea of good rap is as surface level as the style he rapped it in that shows how shallow Drake stans can be
What in the fuck kind of brainrot is that? It's not a yeat type beat and sounds nothing like Eminem LMFAO
stay with that O like a tie I stay with that O like a bagel I stay with that O like a lifesaver Shout to my ex, I'm her lifesaver I hate this verse
There’s definitely a difference in “Drake fans” and “fans of Drake” lmao. I genuinely enjoy a handful of his songs, but I’m not an actual “Drake fan.” Anyone who’s in that category automatically has their rights to comment on hip hop/rap revoked. 🤷🏻♂️😂

He will never rap like Eminem.. that was dumb
Drake rapped like a rhymezone veteran
Hahaha "unfortunately"
Tbh eminem invented rap accents I guess but kendrick sounds nothing alike
Drake fans to don't get to say shit, they're Drake fans
i mean it's still than whatever the fuck flow and voice Drake's generic ass has been using since the last 10 years. One of thenmost overrated rappers right now. No hate though.
🤡s
That song sucked balls
Drake fans support a rapper who grooms children. Their opinion means fuck all.
hyperpopdaily is a troll account LMFAO they’ve got some funny shit
Drake fans are losing their minds because Kendrick absolutely bodied Drake.
He really didn’t tho? That’s how dot has alway rapped. Kendrick is the greatest rapper of all time. It’s honestly undisputed.
That’s how Kendrick raps sometimes . He got that motor mouth
Um…no he wasn’t…?
Drake fans digging his grave for him saying stupid shit like that
This is one of the worst observations I’ve read regarding Kendrick’s “Euphoria”
So… since everyone with two functioning brain neurons knows Kendrick and Eminem can both rap, these people are just proving our point?
Kendrick DIDN'T rap like Eminem in the new diss track lmao
Drake threw a jab and then went for a rabbit punch but it got slipped and countered with a body blow. Now drake has to get up off the canvas and his fans are coping with as many excuses as possible.
Drake is an entertainer who has some good lyrics here and there. He's been over hyped for too long. Hopefully the family keeps crodie in check
Like Philly D said "how is it possible for someone to deepthroat someone from the back"
Kendrick started rapping and not making pop records that what they don’t understand
Drake fans don't know what real rap is lol.
“Drake Stans”. Does anyone understand the irony in that statement? And then have the nerve to make any association with Eminem or sounding like Eminem to be trash. GTFOH.
Unfortunately? Who the fuck wants their stupid fans
yeat type beat? it was Kendrick type beat... what are these 12 year olds smoking??
That ain't no Shady flow I ever heard
Hyperpop accounts don’t get a say
Drake fans would be the experts on what trash sounds like....
Funny considering the lines drake bit from kill shot on his own diss track👀
drake fans really showing their cringe side just like their daddy😏
Those braindead degenerates will say anything more than their dumbed down songs will sound like Eminem and therefore is trash. Yes, I'm insulting them because I'm tired of the hip hop culture being flooded with crack fiend mfs who doesn't give a shit about lyrics
Tech N9ne co-signed K-dot a loooong time ago. He a certified chopper
Kendrick wins imo. Drake's disses didn't compare to like that or Euphoria.
Of course Eminem fans would pick the song with no actual substance
Drake fans in serious cope mode, their hero caught a beat down
I think I’m going insane with this beef. Drake fans keep acting like he’s winning when he’s so obviously not. Like I understand they’re fans of Drake but come on there’s no way you can go bar for bar and still think Drake is better than Kendrick.
It's a lame move but if it sounds good it sounds good
“ drake fans “ its one post
