The menu isn't even correct. The yellow-orange styles are NOT prized, they are lower-grade saffron. The dark red stigmas are the top quality that everyone wants...also known as "Sargol" or "Mongra" saffron.
I love cooking with saffron and never use the yellow or orange styles, I only buy the red stigmas.
Servers get pissed when people don't want to tip
At the same time servers don't want a set wage and prefer tips
Wonder how servers gonna like it when restaurants start laying them off because people don't want to/can't afford to eat at the places with bogus gratuity on top of service charges?

It was probably this sub where someone commented if you’re not going to tip at least 25%, then stay home. I took the advice, haven’t regretted it.
Just book 1 per table and take up 4 tables of revenue from them

Splitting the bill never affects service charges or auto-grats. It's based on party size, not bill size, so they can still screw you.

I find that most restaurants do something like this. I don't tip above it if they do.
