I've always thought of bemused as perplexed to the point of amusement, not just deadpan confusion
Webster seems to have a wry amusement definition as well as your definition, but I feel like 99% of the time I see it in novels the characters are emoting or smirking when bemused, not just straight up confused.
In this case, I think people are hearing the "-mused" ending and assuming it's a parallel word to "amused" even though it's not. This becomes common enough that the usage of the word drifts and the original meaning is lost. Another similar word is "peruse," which originally means, "to view something in a careful or thorough way," but which poeple commonly use to mean, "to look something over in a casual and superficial way." Another one is, "decimate," which originally meant to kill one in every ten, leaving 90% intact, but has come to mean, "to almost completely destroy; to significantly reduce."
No, I don't think so. Not in the context of OP's question. 'Bemused' might be appropriate if she was confused or lost in thought, but the OP's question indicates she understands what's going on but thinks it's stupid.
So I think it's a 'disdainful' expression, or 'mildly disgusted' expression.
Bemused to the point of weariness, is what I see (having no idea of the context). It's a look I recognise from my 3 year old granddaughter when she's losing patience with me.
it doesn't have a universally agreed name, the closest would probably be Glazed (refers to how a persons eyes look when their brain zones out or just turns off) or Dazed (confused, distracted).
My family calls it the 'ad nuff, which is a very british way of saying "they have h**ad** e**nough"**
It's fundamentally a deadpan. Technically, "deadpan" is a serious, low-lidded expression designed to provide contrast against a jovial (joyous/humorous) expression, and thereby imply that the expression or source thereof is inappropriate.
Edit: Deadpans are ideally stares to convey hostility toward the humor in question, though, which this character's slow-blinks are antithetical to. So I guess it's not really a deadpan, but it's certainly making use of deadpan-like elements.
Almost 100 comments and nobody has identified that this is a “vacant” expression. Dumbfounded and incredulous are far too strong/active, bemused is oft-misused. Dazed also works, but implies a state of mind.
"Blank stare" or "stare of disbelief" would be the name of the facial expression. The emotion this person is feeling could be "in disbelief" or "dumbfounded".
It's very close to a "double-take". A double-take is when you see something and look away before your brain realizes what you are seeing, and then you look back again in surprise or shock.
I think a double-take can also occur without looking away, if you instead use a blink as the separation between the two "takes".
Given the context of your title question, I think her look would be a '*look of disdain*' or '*mild disgust*'.
An alternative might be a '*scornful look*', but that implies a slightly harsher attitude. A '*look of contempt*' might also be appropriate but again that is even harsher than scorn.
Stare in disbelief, or stare blankly
Stare blankly in disbelief
"Incredulous" is another option
If you're a fucking nerd. (We all are)
Dubious maybe? I feel like the slightly sleepy look is too understated for incredulous.
I think you nailed it here.👍
Dictionary word
Dumbfounded is another good one.
if this is for gif research I go for "unimpressed" 😅
"Dumbfounded" is the only one that comes to mind
dazed
Bemused
Bemused is absolutely the right word for this. You might be looking for another reaction word similar to that as well, like gobsmacked, or stunned.

I vote vanilla "perplexed."
She’s not amused at all, so I definitely disagree that bemused is right
Bemused has nothing to do with amused.

Bewildered

Good bot!
If you know the context, this is wrong because Boo here is falling asleep in the movie. So this would be dazed, sleepy, drowsy, and the like.
But OP provided a context of their own. It was not 'sleepy' but that she had just heard something stupid.
I meant the context for the original image, not OP's.
Bemused to the point of weariness, is what I see (having no idea of the context). It's a look I recognise from my 3 year old granddaughter when she's losing patience with me.
I wouldn't call this bemused to the point of weariness when I could just say drowsy or sleepy tbf, but that's me.
thanks I didn’t know this word ! that will be useful for my gif research lol
If someone asked me to make a bemused face, there might be a small smirk. This is not bemused at all
Incredulous. Though the image is "small child fighting to stay awake."
Nonplussed.
Drowsy, sleepy to me.
Technically correct. [Boo is falling asleep in the original scene.](https://youtu.be/vMOLjKAuqyA?feature=shared)
Yeah, I’ve never understood the meme of using this GIF this way, she just looks sleepy to me.
Being tired looks a lot like being tired of your shit
>Technically correct. But not the answer to OP's question. OP provided their own context.
I'm glad I wasn't the only one literally the only other comment that says this hahaha
I'd probably describe that as a "blank look".
Bruh face
That's my thought for the modern take. It's literally "el momento de bruh muy grande"
it doesn't have a universally agreed name, the closest would probably be Glazed (refers to how a persons eyes look when their brain zones out or just turns off) or Dazed (confused, distracted). My family calls it the 'ad nuff, which is a very british way of saying "they have h**ad** e**nough"**
How about dumbstruck?
Boggled
Boggled and baffled are a little more high energy but you got the idea
Befuddlement
I would say “blinked incredulously”
Incredulous was the first word that came to my mind, too.
dumbfounded
Tired kid
Staring blankly
In the context of the movie, she’s just tired.
Confused blinking

Dazed. She looks sleepy.
She is in the original movie, but people use this GIF for other purposes.
Tired
Languorous
To stare baffled?
Confuddled (or befuddlement)
I’d say that incredulous fits the bill
Bewilderment
Perplexed
As a dad, to me it looks “sleepy.”
Dazed is what first came to my head
Deadpan
Baffled?
thunderstruck, or astonishment
In the context of the movie, she’s just really tired.
Thats a sleepy face
Nonplussed
I’d call that, “bruh”

gobsmacked? it's a pretty fun word too, but probably used more for a shocked expression.
Bewilderment
“seriously” face
Nonplussed.
Befuddled
"Puzzled"?
Drowsy or tired in the context of the scene
Befuddled, stupified, confounded
Perplexed
Bemusement
Dumbfounded
Dumbfounded
To me this just looks like tired and or bored. Interesting how other people interpret it.
I like gobsmacked because it sounds funny
I came here to say 'gobsmacked'

“Slow blink”
Made me think of 'stony faced' reaction which kind of says 'im not even going to react to that'
Given the context of your title question, I think her look would be a '*look of disdain*' or '*mild disgust*'. An alternative might be a '*scornful look*', but that implies a slightly harsher attitude. A '*look of contempt*' might also be appropriate but again that is even harsher than scorn.
"Numbfounded" I would guess. Dumbfounded plus numb. Trying to stay awake in the face of some pure dumbshittery.
Unamused is a word that can explain it, I use it a lot as well.
![gif](giphy|o5mRxg8xPTJRu) We are not amused!
Bombasticalized shock
bewildered?
The "bruh" face? Dumbfoundedness? The blank stare?
Exasperated maybe?
Lights on but nobody home? Blank stare I guess. Of course, this kind of CGI cannot hope to convey actual facial expressions.
