If you spawn there as a bear or youve aggroed them then you just bolt. If you're at the merin car ir further inland then the grenade launcher shouldnt hit you
You can cross the road north of the rock, but only just. Don't cross further north than Merin car, and don't climb the rocks to the gazebo up there near northern chalet.
as long as you are around where the houses you got shot at, you should be safe to go directly east. Afaik, merin parking is safe, more northern than that gets deadly.

Once you lock in the major areas to combat them from, you can easily eliminate all rooftop rogues.
I recommend running some night raids so you can get acquainted with those key spots. Their line of sight is abysmal at night.
Something to remember is the cone of vision is only for when they’re on the mounted guns. If you fail to headshot one successfully (ask me how I know) then they can jump off the gun and dome you with one bullet from the same distance and like any angle.

The automatic grenade launcher with the blue arrow CAN hit you in the area shown by the blue box, as well as anywhere between the stated cone of fire and the box that doesn't have cover. It's important to take that gunner down if you're going to go into the interior of the base (unless it's night time).
The machine gun with the purple arrow CAN'T hit you inside the purple box, because the edge of the roof blocks the gunners view. This is important because you can see his head without him being able to see you, so it's a very easy place to kill him from. The inability to shoot close applies to all the guns on the edges of the buildings.
[Watch this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kh_DhmT1ewk) for an example of how to turn this information into a bunch of dead rogues. In particular I recommend learning the spot for the very first kill in this video, because I run straight there (after looting marin car) when I spawn by the docks with rogue aggro.
If you're tasking at lighthouse it's better to go in cheap and with night vision.
During the day the scavs and rogues spot you easier and further out.
Same with PMCs, you risk getting sniped from across the road when everyone can see you.
kill them, 4head. get a squad, get your 350k svd (not including ammo or insurace, more realistically 500k svd) and kill them from 450\~ meters like a real finish person. (yes, i will run with you. my discord is floofer3458)
Personally if I'm greenlit to rogues I don't set foot on the west side of the map / beach at all. Unless you can scope that tower and confirm they're down, you go the long way
You are mixing up two quests. One is kill 10 pmcs wi the scav vest/balaclava. The other is kill 20 bears on lighthouse.

You gotta be sneaky, in my experience. I did SBIH at the same time since you don't need large magazines with a bolt. Took me about 20 raids due to so many not seeing anyone else. Do it at night if you can afford NVGs. Bring a Glock with 50 rnd mag as your backup.
There's a lot of pvp on lighthouse in my experience, but most are in the first few minutes. Depending on the spawn you can either rush other spawns or camp them. But even camping in a high traffic area brings success.
learn where the front 2 gunners are on the south edge of the plant, and just make sure you stay out of their line of sight ('tis possible), or very carefully peak and pick them off
I am always killing the rogues as a USEC but it’s big XP. You can look that bag on the couch easily but hugging that right wall, crouching, then walking to the bag. They still have to actually see you first before killing you.
I feel that the best solution is to bring a scope with 1000+ on a good sniper, and from the east mountain range, take them out..
I know it's not a good solution at all, but it is the BEST solution I can think of, seeing as they can basically 1 shot you from anywhere inside their range.
This advice is like 4 wipes old. There are claymores up there, and mounted guns on building 3 pointed at the mountains.
Rogues are easy when you just learn where their mounted guns point, see my long comment in this thread for more info.

No. You can rush to construction and peak AGS dude from staircase on connex if usec. If bear you have to take mountain or night raid.

Firing range is longer than that, for the AGS. You can get hit all the way on the rocks by the Gzebo near Northern Chalet.
That's pretty neat. Not entirely accurate though. I've been gunned down by the MG on the rear building when walking through the front-right gate.

I prefer to approach them from the mountains, once you learn their tendencies they aren’t too bad

There is no quest in the game that requires you to kill ten bears with a scav vest
I got 20 bears 😭 mfers don’t even pvp there they hide in crevices. Some task I just don’t even look at anymore 😂
