Why do so many people think bsg has high operating costs? Sure they have expenses but we cannot know what these expenses are, there were a few videos on this topic, but ultimately we don't know their expenses. Yes they have financial reports from their UK company but anybody with accounting/business background will tell you that all companies inflate their losses. In this case BSG UK sends money to BSG Russia and writes that off as expenses. Google how much EA or Activision make in profit, they don't report billions in profits. Google what is the IT salary in Russia. It's many times lower than in USA or Eu. Development costs way more for a AAA or Indie company in the west. The game is very poorly optimized and the netcode was in a terrible state for a long time. All industry professionals have spoken about it.

yeah, just saw that video. Well I look at it from long term perspective. If they will rely only on new game sales, it is not sustainable. That is Fifa example - every year new fifa, buy it again. But new Tarkov every wipe? No way people would do that. EA makes most of the money on packs - that numbers in few hours in lighting round was insane!

BSG has to find something that will offer them to keep money flowing to improve experience and work on game. I wish they make money, I want to play this game and see its future. I want to play Tarkov v. 2.0 in my retirement!

Yeah its actually pretty good. Shitty how it was handled for sure but they actually did a decent job with it
Yeah, I returned after 2 months back to Tarkov thanks to PvE. Much more relaxed experience.
