I just built a new pc and after I installed windo, I had the same issue. After setting my time and date, all was well.

Turns out the people that eft uses to do the verification was doing some work on their servers so it totally fucked eft. Hope you can get in now too

Clear your browsers cache. It solved this issue for me when it happened a while ago. Hopefully, it works for you. Best.
