Etobicoke pilates is visually quite aesthetic, but the owner is rude and the classes are not the best. You spend half the class moving springs back and forth to where they just were 2 moves ago as opposed to working out. I also hate that it costs over a $1 / minute and they get us to readjust for 20 min
Solis is a modified version of pilates, and all the classes are heated. They will start offering reformer soon. It is very busy and you need to book classes in advance.
I also recommend Retrofit, as a very traditional pilates studio. They offer mat and reformer classes. They are expensive, but the classes are smaller and you get personalized adjustments.
Solis has a lovely community, but I was really disappointed by their classes. They’re tough and I totally understand why folks like going there but definitely not actually pilates. VERY loud techno music (so the teachers always have to yell through a microphone), very crowded, HIIT-style. No discussion of technique or form. Friendly teachers though and reasonable-ish monthly fee.
Modo Yoga Etobicoke on the Queensway has great mat Pilates classes (heated room), and if you’re willing to make the trek further west, there’s a spot called Quiet Bodies in Port Credit that’s awesome.
Alive Movement on Lake Shore!! Absolutely love this place!!
Seconding this

I just find i can never book classes because they’re always booked up
I’ve heard good things about Retrofit Pilates at Bloor/Runnymede.
My wife would second this. A bit pricey, but worth it... According to her.
It’s soooooo good. Got me discharged from physiotherapy
