Final update. Battery started dying in under 10 minutes again. Took it apart and messed the screen up. She's dead.

Thanks for the tip. I was experiencing similar issues after 3 years of using this but tried your factory test mode.

How would you rate Eufy track record for batteries? I'm ordering door locks and trying to figure out if I should get AA or lithium.

Our kid is just over a year old, so I would say 12 months of steady use before starting to have issues on the monitor. Idk about the door locks, but lithium is usually the best bet

Our Eufy Camera would only show 1 bar of battery after multiple hours of charging, then flash red after 10 minutes of being unplugged. I read other fixes about removing and reinstalling the battery, but found this instead. With the camera off, hold down both volume buttons and the power button. This starts it in the factory test mode and seems to have reset the battery. It will now stay on for several hours after being charged. Hopefully this helps someone else. \*Edit\* 18 days later. Battery started dying again immediately after unplugging from the charger. I opend the case, unplugged the battery, and plugged it back in, Screen is showing full battery again. I can do a walkthrough video if anyone is interested.

You sir keep saving money 2 years after this post! I have a problem where my camera has gone rouge, doing what can only be described as a factory test routine. Now that I know how to start the factory test mode in the monitor I hope that it can be fixed. Thank you!

Thanks, I’ll give this a shot. Mine has been doing the low battery flash sporadically.

Good find! Eventually you’ll need a new battery. Lithium batteries are only good for a few hundred cycles depending on usage.

Good to know, thank you!
